When I was in Fushimi, I used to visit this shop occasionally. Most of the bars from that time seem to have disappeared, but this shop is still going strong, which is great. It is located in a building near the east entrance of Minamibu Children's Park. As you enter the building and come to the entrance, oh, today is a live music day. It feels like my first time encountering a live performance. I'm not sure what style it is, but the atmosphere and interior are quite nice. The menu mostly consists of cocktails ranging from 700 to 900 yen, with Mojito being the most expensive at 1000 yen from what I saw. Of course, I started with a Gin and Tonic, which was 700 yen. This shop operates on a cash-on-delivery system where you exchange your order and money upfront, ensuring clear and error-free transactions. Additionally, there is no extra charge during live performances. In fact, there was a happy hour until 9 pm with a 100 yen discount. Now, the Gin and Tonic... I wonder if it's made with Beefeater? It's delicious, but there's a slight sense of something missing. Maybe my palate has become more refined from my experiences at various bars. There was Pear Vodka Tonic for 900 yen written on the blackboard, which caught my interest. However, for some reason, perhaps not the fault of the shop or the two musicians performing, I just couldn't get into the mood to drink more. I decided to leave after one drink. I would like to come back when I'm in a better mood next time.

I was surprised to find out they host live events in such a spacious bar. I wanted to inquire more about the live performance, but the place quickly filled up with customers, so I left early. The interior of the bar is quite spacious and the manager was running it alone. The location is not great, but surprisingly there were quite a few customers inside. The warm lighting and jazz music playing in the background created a cozy atmosphere. They also occasionally have live music events. The drinks were very reasonably priced, with two drinks costing 1,200 yen. It was a short visit, but I had a pleasant time. I would like to visit again when I'm in Fushimi. Well then, goodbye.

Go down the Otemasu shopping street to the west, then turn right in front of Mizuho Bank. After a while, you will see a sign on your left. Open the door at the back of the building and you will be greeted by the cheerful voice of the master. Inside, there are four unique table seats and a small counter. I don't drink alcohol, but I visited this bar for the live performances held here a few times a month. The variety of drinks is extensive, but I can't really evaluate them. I enjoyed ginger ale and iced coffee while watching the live performances. The cheese toast was also delicious. I used to visit quite often, but I haven't been able to go for about a year. I remembered this place after drinking with my colleagues from work on the way home, thinking I wanted to drink a little more. When I arrived, it was past midnight, but there was only one seat left at the 8-seat counter, and half of the table seats were already taken, indicating its popularity. I sat at the last seat at the counter and ordered the "Today's Special" highball written on a small whiteboard. Silver Moon, as stated in the menu, does not charge a seating fee and operates on a cash-on-delivery system for clear billing. It is a very friendly place for people like me who just want to have a little more to drink. The drink menu offers a wide selection of whiskies and cocktails. The food menu is limited, so it is convenient for either a second stop after filling your stomach or for a quick drink before heading home. The conversations with the bartender and other customers at the counter are enjoyable, creating a very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere inside the shop. In the end, I had a bourbon on the rocks after the highball, and the total bill was around 1500 yen. They are open until 3 am, so it's a great place to make a leisurely stop even when you come back on the last train.

It was a short walk from Momoyama-Oryo-mae Station, and when I turned into the shopping street, I saw a sign so I found the shop right away. I couldn't tell what it was like inside from the outside, so I needed some courage to enter, but once inside, there was one group of customers and a young bartender. The bartender will be joined by another person from 10pm, and when I left, another person around 30 years old came to work. I had beer and wine at the counter while snacking on nuts. For beer, they had Heineken, Corona, and a few other options (I forgot the names...). I drank red wine by the glass, and they had French and Chilean options. There was no cover charge, and the prices for drinks and food were reasonable. The atmosphere was great (the lighting is darker than in the photos), and they are open until 3am, so it's a recommended spot for a second or third drink.

There were interesting CDs placed on the counter, giving the bar a suburban vibe where locals can relax. If I have the chance to visit the area again, I would like to go back.

This is a restaurant that was recommended to me when I visited a creative teppanyaki restaurant called Sora before. I happened to be in Fushimi, so I stopped by on my way back. The restaurant is located down the main shopping street to the west, then up the road where Mizuho Bank is located. It is not a busy street, and the restaurant itself is tucked away at the back of a building, so you would need to know about it to visit. There are a few seats at the counter and several tables in the quite spacious interior, where the owner and two young employees were working. I wanted to sit at the counter to hear the owner's stories like I did at Sora, but it was full, and there were also customers at the tables, indicating that it is quite a popular place. I was surprised by how affordable the prices were when I looked at the menu!! There was no cover charge, so even after having about five drinks, I don't think it exceeded 3000 yen. I don't remember exactly because I paid for each order separately, but if I'm ever in the area again, I would definitely want to visit this place!

The reason for choosing the restaurants on the day was mainly because "I can't eat any more rice dishes because my stomach is full". Everyone in the group that day was at an age where they were starting to worry about their digestive system (some people were really worried) (laughs). When it comes to bars in Kyoto, the image of "Calvador" and "Bar Kya" always sticks in my mind... This place has a casual atmosphere that can be used for everyday occasions.
