I visited a jewelry store in Ginza. I love nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch) so I often go to the Naka Mata-san affiliated shop in Ginza. This time, I visited this shop near the store for the first time. I ordered the Choshi-caught grilled kinmedai (golden eye snapper) steamed in a steamer and the nodoguro primitive grilled course for 7000 yen. The course included seasonal grilled vegetables such as yam, Fushimi chili pepper, and eggplant, as well as the famous morning fresh fish sashimi platter with maguro (tuna) chu-toro, akami (lean tuna), botan shrimp, nodoguro, and sawara. The nodoguro was seared, giving it a fragrant and fatty taste that was excellent. The homemade hand-kneaded sweet potato tempura was freshly fried and delicious. The nodoguro in the course was large and fatty, which was great. The kinmedai steamed in a steamer came after the nodoguro, but it was a bit too light in flavor. I thought it might be better to change the taste with a simmered dish. The bukkake soba (soba noodles topped with sauce) and homemade warabi mochi were also included in the course. Overall, the course was excellent not only for the nodoguro but also for other dishes, making it a great value. The selection of Japanese sake was not very extensive, but if you drink shochu, the bill won't be too high, making it a reasonable option for a meal.

I went for a customer dinner! With a budget of 10,000 yen per person, we had all-you-can-drink and hearty dishes, and we were very satisfied. As soon as we entered, they were grilling tuna neck right at the entrance, and the juicy tuna neck went perfectly with the shochu. It's a must-visit restaurant for tuna neck lovers.

It's been a while since I last visited. I ordered the all-you-can-drink course and every dish was outstanding. The bonito sashimi was especially thick, rivaling the blackthroat sea perch. The grilling was truly impressive! I ordered five types of shochu in order and the staff were efficient and kind. It's no wonder it gets crowded. Thank you for the meal! 🍽️

Sashimi is very fresh and delicious. The fatty tuna is so good that it's addictive. They offer a wide variety of shochu for all-you-can-drink, and the service is fast. I used this restaurant for a business dinner with our clients. It is conveniently located close by, and the atmosphere is not too fancy but not cheap either, which was perfect for our casual yet professional gathering.

Today, I had a drinking party with my friends after a long time. We decided to splurge and go to a restaurant to eat Nodoguro. I had tried Nodoguro grilled at an izakaya before, but it was small and I couldn't fully enjoy it, so I had high expectations for today. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely. We could see the kitchen from the second floor, and sometimes the ashes from the charcoal grill would float over, making it even more enjoyable! The staff recommended the special ingredients for today, and we chose the extra-large Nodoguro, surf clam, and tiger prawn. The sashimi was all delicious, especially the Nodoguro which was sweet! I wanted to order more Nodoguro sashimi, but unfortunately they were out of stock, which was disappointing. We also had the Nodoguro primal grilled, which was fatty and sweet. It was delicious. I finished it all in no time and was very satisfied. I wonder if the Ginza branch also serves sashimi? I will look it up and definitely want to go eat there again! Thank you for the meal.

I used this restaurant for a business dinner with clients. I feel like there aren't many places in the Ginza area where you can eat authentic tuna dishes for this price. The all-you-can-drink menu was also extensive, and I enjoyed tuna sashimi with shochu and soda. I would definitely like to use this restaurant again in the future.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is lively like an izakaya (Japanese pub) but also clean. The dishes we ordered were centered around sashimi and grilled nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch), as well as satsuma-age (deep-fried fish cake) and seasonal fish and vegetables. Each dish was of a high level that made us focus on eating rather than talking. The beer was delicious, but since it's a place known for shochu (Japanese distilled spirit), we tried a shochu that we don't usually drink, and it was also delicious! However, be aware that the grilled dish tends to leave a strong smell, so it's better to wear clothes that you don't mind getting a bit of odor on.

The first time I fell in love with Nodoguro was at a shop in Tsukiji. I was happy to see a new shop open in Shinbashi. This shop specializes in charcoal grilling, serving perfectly cooked Nodoguro with a side of shochu. It's a cozy place with a calm atmosphere, making it easy to have conversations. There aren't many young people, but it's a comfortable place to relax.

If you want to try nodoguro in Tokyo, this is the best place to go. The grilled nodoguro is delicious, with the fish's fat complementing the salt perfectly. The 30cm, 450g+ nodoguro has a satisfying amount to eat. The sashimi is fresh, and the grilled vegetables are also high quality. The ingredients here are top-notch.

I visited for the first time and it was amazing! The fish, vegetables, and alcohol were all delicious. There's no need to nitpick. I simply felt like I want to come back again because of the deliciousness. Maybe the staff were a bit flustered because they were new? I think this place is suitable for business entertaining, dates, adult gatherings, and various occasions. Thank you for the delicious meal!

This is a restaurant I was taken to for a farewell party in March. Located in Tsukiji, the atmosphere is very nice. The dimly lit lanterns are lovely. As we walked past the kitchen to our table, we saw rows of splendid nodoguro fish displayed. I wanted to take a picture! The course menu was excellent, with charcoal-grilled seasonal vegetables, a specialty sashimi platter with 5 types of fresh fish caught in the morning, grilled nodoguro, homemade hand-kneaded satsuma-age (fish cake), charcoal-grilled Satsuma black beef zabuton, seasonal vegetable hot pot, bukkake soba (soba noodles with broth), and warabi mochi dessert, all with all-you-can-drink option. The charcoal-grilled vegetables were juicy and sweet, the sashimi was large and firm, and the nodoguro was superb. The zabuton was tender and delicious, and despite being full, it was so tasty that I finished it all. The hot pot and soba were also delicious, making it a very satisfying meal. I thought this was a great restaurant! Thank you for the feast.

It was a splendid shop in the back alley of Tsukiji, radiating a bright light. After being guided to the second floor, we were seated in a semi-private room where warm tea was always available, and we ended up spending a long time there without realizing it. The delicious nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch) made us enjoy our drinks even more. The staff's hospitality was wonderful. We were able to enjoy a popular seat because it was available, but it is recommended to make a reservation in advance. Thank you for taking care of us.

Located just a short walk from Tsukiji Station and within walking distance from Higashi-Ginza Station, there is a splendid restaurant nestled in a back alley, specializing in blackthroat seaperch, run by Nakamata Sake Brewery established in 1904. As soon as you enter, you are greeted by a large lantern and a display of charcoal and today's blackthroat seaperch, creating an exciting atmosphere. Although we had already ordered the blackthroat seaperch sashimi when making a reservation, we found out that the limited edition Tosazukuri was not included, so we decided to add it to our order. The sashimi, delivered fresh from Toyosu, and the bonito were both delicious and sweet. For the seasonal grilled vegetables, we chose baby cabbage and Senju green onions. While both were large, the baby cabbage was a bit tough and hard to eat. The grilled blackthroat seaperch was the largest one I had ever seen (laughs). We ordered beer and shochu, and the total bill for two people came to around 25,000 yen, so it's not exactly cheap, but we ate and drank a lot, so we are satisfied. Thank you for the wonderful meal ♩

Just a short walk from Tsukiji Station. I had a sudden craving for a big portion of tuna and decided to revisit this place. They only serve one portion per person, which is just right. The sashimi was fresh and delicious. Then came the grilled tuna, which was fluffy, fragrant, and tasty. The service was also excellent. I would love to come back here again when I'm in the area. I had always been curious about the Nakamata branch of Nodoguro, a restaurant that has been selected as one of the top 100 izakaya in Ginza! When I called on the day, they informed me that there was availability at the Tsukiji branch, so I decided to visit there. When making the phone reservation, I took advantage of their fish reservation service and quickly reserved the grilled nodoguro! The grilled nodoguro is cooked using an old-fashioned method that takes time and effort but brings out the best flavor in the fish. The fish is skewered, placed around a fire, with the fish's mouth facing down, and grilled over charcoal to remove excess moisture and concentrate the flavor. The grilled nodoguro, cooked with care and effort, was so delicious with its plump and luxurious fatty texture! In addition to the nodoguro, the other dishes were of high quality and the variety of drinks was abundant, making it a satisfying experience. This restaurant is recommended for various occasions such as dates or group gatherings! I will definitely visit again! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I visited with a friend, and the style of having seasonal fish and vegetables brought to the table with recommendations on how to eat them was fantastic. Although the menu is a bit limited, everything we ordered was delicious and satisfying. The restaurant has a charcoal grill inside, so there may be some charcoal dust floating around and a slight smell that could stick to your clothes. It's better to avoid wearing clothes that are difficult to wash casually.

Reserved a seat only. When making a reservation, I requested a special large grilled primitive tuna and a sashimi assortment to be set aside. The tuna was fatty and very delicious. The fresh tuna was not frozen, so it melts in your mouth right away. A place I want to go to on special occasions.

I went to Nakahata for the first time and had the course meal with nodoguro. The grilled nodoguro that came out was impressive in size, and the taste and saltiness were excellent! I recommend ordering one of these primal grills per person. It was my first time eating such a large nodoguro, but it was incredibly tender and had amazing fatty flavor. Simply delicious. I made a reservation for an early dinner and arrived at the restaurant. The staff guided me to a table on the second floor. Ashes were drifting up from the kitchen below, giving the place a stylish and sophisticated atmosphere. The staff were lively and provided excellent service, making the experience very pleasant. I ordered the 6,000 yen course. First, I had a sashimi platter with various kinds of fish like sea bream, tuna, bonito, and sweet shrimp, all of which were incredibly delicious. The grilled vegetables had a great charcoal flavor and were bursting with umami, while the handmade thick tofu was fluffy and delightful. Every dish that came out was delicious. The highlight was the grilled blackthroat sea perch, which was huge and incredibly tender with just the right amount of fat, making it sweet and fluffy. It was pure bliss. Next was the charcoal-grilled wagyu zabuton, which was tender and flavorful with a hint of charcoal, though I wished there was a bit more on the plate. I chose a non-alcoholic beer and then a refreshing yuzu juice, which was freshly squeezed and made into a delicious yuzu sour. It was a delightful surprise. The meal ended with a vegetable and Japanese buckwheat noodle hot pot, and some warabi mochi for dessert. I noticed that most of the customers were salarymen who had just finished work, probably drawn in by the delicious dishes served as sake accompaniments. Overall, the meal was truly delicious. When it comes to Tsukiji, the image is usually of early morning to around noon, but I visited Tsukiji at night for the first time. I was surprised to find that there are many restaurants open at night. On my way to Tsukiji, I found this restaurant on Tabelog and decided to give it a try. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted with charcoal-grilled primitive grilled fish and ice-cold nodoguro. I ordered the specialty dish of extra-large nodoguro grilled over charcoal, a sashimi platter for two, homemade Satsuma-age, as well as other dishes like white fish, grilled surf clam, and grilled onions. The Satsuma-age before frying was served as an appetizer, and the warabi mochi dessert was complimentary. Ordering all the dishes was definitely the right choice. I particularly enjoyed the homemade Satsuma-age. It had a chewy texture with a hint of octopus, simply delicious. Exploring Tsukiji at night seems to be worth it.
