I visited the restaurant around 7 pm on a regular weekday. I had always thought it looked expensive as I passed by, but after looking into it, it didn't seem like such a high-end place, so I decided to give it a try! The recommended dish on the sign in front of the restaurant was the "Angus steak." I like lean meat, so I chose the sirloin, with a free topping of garlic chips. You can also choose your butter. It was ¥1580 for 200g. I also ordered rice and miso soup as a set, and a mixed salad as an extra dish. The prices were very reasonable, and the mixed salad was enough for two people at ¥550. I was surprised because I had thought it would be more expensive based on the appearance. They didn't serve alcohol, but a highball was ¥390, and soft drinks were ¥190, which was also good. The salad was made with cabbage, kaiware radish, cucumber, and a Japanese-style dressing. It had been a while since I had kaiware radish, and it was delicious. The meat was brought sizzling on a hot plate, cut into about 10 pieces. It seemed to be cooked medium. It was incredibly tender and flavorful, with no unpleasant smell. It was a very delicious piece of meat. It was so good when eaten with rice. It was also enjoyable to try it with various condiments like a slightly sweet egg yolk sauce, onion sauce, salt ponzu, and salt. Although there was quite a bit of rice, I finished it all quickly. Even though it was 200g, I could have easily eaten 300g! (laughs) The accompanying potatoes were thin like McDonald's fries, and they had become soggy from the oil and meat juices, which was a bit disappointing. I think cubed or mashed potatoes would be better! Despite the nice traditional atmosphere with a courtyard, the restaurant offers reasonably priced and delicious meat. However, I was a bit concerned that there were no acrylic dividers between the tables, and the spacing was not well-maintained. If it's not too crowded, I would definitely want to come back again. Thank you for the meal.
