A recommended Asian restaurant where a lively lady with a punch stands in the kitchen. Everything you order is delicious, but the cilantro omelette and Khao Soi are truly amazing! You must try them! In Asian restaurants, cilantro is usually served in small amounts on top or mixed in, giving the impression that you can't eat a lot of it. However, at Inaho Shokudo, they generously include cilantro in the salad provided! The omelette is loaded with cilantro, a cilantro lover's dream! Even though I can't handle spicy food, I couldn't stop exclaiming how delicious the Khao Soi was! The flavors overall are on the stronger side, not mild! The portion size for each dish is on the smaller side. The restaurant is not very spacious, so it tends to fill up quickly. Highly recommended - Inaho Shokudo! Thank you for the meal!

This is a stylish Asian restaurant located in Ichijoji, a competitive ramen area. The interior has a nice atmosphere. I ordered the Khao Soi from the lunch menu. It seems to have been quite a price increase from the menu that everyone uploaded on Tabelog, now priced at 1400 yen. It comes with a salad. The noodles use a soup base of coconut curry, with various ingredients and spices, allowing you to enjoy complex flavors. The bone-in chicken on top was particularly delicious. I felt their attention to detail.

I was recommended to Inaho Shokudo for the first time and I was surprised to see a large amount of vegetables in the fried spring rolls. The Khao Man Gai came with a scallion salt sauce for flavor variation, and the rice was incredibly delicious. Khao Man Gai for 1200 yen, fried spring rolls for 1200 yen, passion fruit juice.

Today, I used it for a meal with my friend! [Access] It is convenient to walk from Eizan Electric Railway Ichijoji Station for 5 minutes, and there is a parking lot nearby, so it is convenient to go by car, and the access is quite convenient! [Atmosphere] It is located in Ichijoji Ramen Street, on the second floor of Kirameki. You access it from a hidden entrance like a hideaway! The overall atmosphere was stylish with an Asian taste! There were candles on the tables, and in a calm atmosphere, with a cool breeze passing through, it was very comfortable! There are tables for 4 people and a large table, making it easy to use in various situations! [Menu] Khao Soi ¥1000 Bottle of Beer ¥700 Today, I came to Inaho Shokudo because I heard that I can eat Khao Soi, which I liked when I visited Thailand before! It was similar to what I had in Thailand and was very delicious! The menu had many types of Thai dishes! The drinks also included Thai beer and other foreign beers, so you can enjoy comparing them! [Service] Two women were serving. They provided polite service, talked to us after the meal, and made us feel very comfortable! I would like to go again to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine!

The food was very delicious and the atmosphere was nice, but when we went at night, we had to wait quite a bit. Lunch was faster, so I was a little disappointed.

There is a shop in Ichijoji, Kyoto. This area is known for being a town with a strong image of university students. As you walk around, you can see many people who appear to be students. Additionally, this area is famous for being a battleground for ramen shops. The shop is located on the second floor of a building in a corner. The entrance is small and the stairs to the second floor are a bit inconspicuous, giving it a unique and Southeast Asian-like atmosphere. The interior is filled with tropical plants, and the tables and chairs are made of uneven wooden pieces, enhancing the Southeast Asian vibe. I visited for lunch. The menu includes dishes like Khao Soi (coconut curry soup noodles) and Khao Man Gai. The flavors had a hint of Japanese taste. Personally, I feel that authentic dishes are usually lighter. I would have preferred stronger acidity and spiciness. I visited in July and it was a hot day, but the air conditioning inside was not very effective, making it a bit uncomfortable. However, this also added to the Southeast Asian feel. The portions were generous, fitting for a shop in a student town. Thank you for the meal.

At Keibunsha and Cafe? Of course, ramen is famous, right? AOW-san's place here. There are quite high-level restaurants. There are Thai and Vietnamese cuisine, giving off an Asian resort restaurant vibe. I ordered Khao Soi and then read my past reviews, and realized I ordered the same thing ^^; The visual of the fried noodles topping is stunning. The coconut curry soup is as rich as a thick ramen. The simmered chicken wings are plentiful and tender. When picked up with chopsticks, they crumble easily. The taste of various ingredients such as pickled mustard greens and bean sprouts overlapping. I usually prefer vegetable-focused Thai, Vietnamese, and Laotian cuisine, but this place is also quite high-level. Vegetables like coriander seem to be grown by family members. It's nice to eat Thai ramen while watching the line across the street from the second floor!

- Red Snapper Soup Pho ¥950 + Lunch Set (Salad, Drink) ¥300 - Salad: The salad is simply seasoned with olive oil, salt, and pepper, so you can add your preferred condiments. We had it with sweet chili (back left), fish sauce (back right), vinegar (front left), and seasoned garlic (front right) this time. The combination of sweetness, acidity, and a hint of chili spice at the end is highly recommended. - Red Snapper Soup Pho: The red snapper bones are a delightful sight! The soup has a light yet flavorful broth. The crunchy bean sprouts and red onions provide a nice texture. The harmony of lemongrass, garlic, and fried onions is delightful. I personally don't like cilantro, so I'll skip commenting on that. Overall, it's like a healthy, Asian-style ramen. I was very satisfied. - Coffee: Since there weren't many customers, they brought it to us at the perfect time. Mmm, so smooth.

There is a new Asian-themed restaurant on the second floor of Kirameki, a ramen shop in Ichijo-ji. The interior is filled with plants and wooden tables, giving off a jungle vibe. The friendly service made me feel at ease. The menu offers many unique dishes such as coriander curry. I ordered my favorite Pad Thai and green curry. The lunch set includes a salad, drink, and coconut pudding. I requested my dish without coriander. The salad had celery leaves, which I didn't like. The Pad Thai had a strong garlic and dried shrimp flavor, different from the usual sweet dishes I've had before. The green curry had a moderate level of spiciness and came with a generous portion of jasmine rice. The coconut pudding was very sweet but incredibly smooth and delicious. When I heard a foreign customer order with "No coriander," I felt relieved knowing that some people also dislike it.

I saw a magazine and decided to go eat at a restaurant that looked promising. It is located on the second floor where you can see the line for Takayasu-san's restaurant. The third floor seemed to be a guesthouse. The interior had a counter, sofa seats, and tables surrounded by wood, creating a bright and comfortable space. It seemed like the dishes were prepared by Japanese chefs, and the Khao Soi I ordered was quite authentic. It was a curry with coconut milk served with curly noodles. The well-cooked chicken wings were topped with fried noodles. I added a bit of chili sauce and coconut slices. The salad was fresh and satisfying, but the "Asian tea" with lemongrass was a bit disappointing as it lacked both aroma and flavor. The coconut pudding dessert was delicious. It felt more like a Thai cafe than a dining hall. I recommend it to those who are looking to try Thai cuisine. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

In the center of Ichijoji Ramen Street, right above the "Twinkling Sunset," a new restaurant has opened. Despite its name "Inaho Shokudo," which sounds like a place that serves rice and miso soup with grilled fish, it is actually a Thai-style ethnic cuisine restaurant. Located on the second floor near the entrance north of "Twinkling Sunset," the menu during lunchtime consists of four basic items. The interior of the restaurant is bright with large windows and wild wooden tables. There are also sofa seats and a counter. From the windows, you can see "Takayasu" and "Seven Eleven" nearby. I ordered the "Khao Man Gai," a dish of chicken broth-infused rice with steamed chicken. The flavor is very light, and the rice is unmistakably long-grain. The steamed chicken, served in two separate sauces, is delicious but lacks impact. This area is the heart of Ramen Street, and while there are plenty of customers coming for ramen, other restaurants here face tough competition. I wish them the best of luck. The restaurant, renovated from an old building, was very stylish and had a lot of attention to detail. The space from the entrance to the second floor was lovely. I had avocado salad and a spicy tofu appetizer. The tofu dish, in particular, was delicious with the perfect combination of tofu, spicy toppings, peanuts, and cilantro. You can also request a cocktail of your choice. The atmosphere was cozy and I ended up staying late into the night. Thank you very much!!

I arrived a little late, around 10 pm, looking for dinner. I wasn't sure if the restaurant I was aiming for was open, so I ended up finding an Asian cuisine place while walking around. It seemed like a bar, so I had to order a drink along with my meal. I had a hot coffee and green curry with white fish, which was not too salty and easy to eat. I later realized that the restaurant focuses on vegetables and herbs, and the whole basil leaves in the curry added a nice touch. They also serve my favorite dish, fish & chips, so I might come back to chat about travel stories.

Recently, I've been relying on takeout food a lot, partly because I've become lazy, but also because there are so many interesting restaurants popping up in Kyoto that I keep bookmarking but never actually get to visit. One place that caught my eye was Inaho Shokudo, serving Southeast Asian cuisine. I ordered the Sweet Chili Sauce Chicken Drumsticks (3 pieces) for 540 yen and the Prawn Nasi Goreng with extra toppings for 1070 yen. The drumsticks were juicy and the chili sauce was a perfect match. The Nasi Goreng was decent, but could use a bit more flavor. Overall, I think it's a good restaurant, but it may have dropped a bit on my priority list for future visits. Thank you for the meal.
