Today, I came here. This Chinese restaurant is located along Route 24 in Joyo City. The spacious interior with a TV showing, has a kitchen at the back, no counter seats, 6 four to six-person tables on the right to center, and 2 raised tables on the left. It seems to be run by a middle-aged couple or two people. The menu includes "a la carte, set meals, teishoku" and even "all-you-can-eat and drink" with a wide variety of options with photos. Based on reviews, all dishes are said to be very generous, so I ordered the "19 Mapo Tofu Lunch (without noodles - 50 yen)." After a while, it arrived. The tray included rice, the main mapo tofu, spring rolls, pickles, salad, and soup. I made the right choice by skipping the noodles, as the mapo tofu was smooth with plenty of ground meat, mildly spicy and without any thickness. Feeling a bit unsatisfied, I added some chili oil from the table. The spring rolls were the typical frozen kind and a bit cold. The wakame soup with a consomme flavor, pickles, and salad were all finished. When I went to pay, I noticed a self-service drink corner next to me. I wish they had told me about it. The service was okay. Overall, it was a unique experience. Wheelchair accessible, with a Japanese-style toilet at the back, and there are a few parking spaces in front of the restaurant.
