We had a course meal for 5000 yen as a group. We ordered using our smartphones. The portions were generous and filling. We started with Korean pancake and salad, then moved on to pork, chicken, beef tongue, and beef. Finally, we had a hot pot. For dessert, we enjoyed strawberry ice cream. The Korean pancake was delicious!!!

The king of Jjimjilbang was delicious, especially the Jjimjilbang. I added cheese topping. The Mandu was like regular dumplings. The Samgyupsal was tasty, but the sauce was a bit sour. It's a matter of preference. The Pudetige was quite spicy, but I enjoyed it. I added rice at the end, but maybe adding cheese or eggs would have toned down the spiciness. Overall, I was satisfied.

I had dinner at the King of Chijimi, a highly recommended restaurant for chijimi, but since the portion was quite large, I decided to just have samgyupsal tonight. The Yamagata pork meat was really delicious. The grill is designed to slant when placed, allowing the oil to naturally flow down, resulting in crispy and delicious samgyupsal. The default barbecue sauce here is delicious, but it's also great to order miso sauce, garlic, chives, and kimchi to wrap with the meat. It feels like you can eat unlimited amounts. With 3 servings of meat, lemon sour, and pot Makgeolli, it was less than ¥2,000 per person. The restaurant plays K-POP music, creating a nice atmosphere, but it can get noisy when the customers increase, making it impossible to hear the music. It's a highly recommended restaurant with great cost performance and delicious food. It's always full, so reservations are necessary. Thank you for the meal.

I finally got to visit the restaurant I always wanted to go to every time I come to Kyoto. I wasn't confident that I could finish the Samgyupsal set for 2 people, so I ordered a single serving of Samgyupsal, wrapped vegetables, white kimchi, oi kimchi, and a craft chu-hai (Kyoto yuzu). I was satisfied!

It's usually crowded even on weekdays, so it's best to make a reservation 2-3 days in advance. The restaurant has table seating on the first floor and a spacious tatami room on the second floor. There are also semi-private tatami rooms which are very convenient. I recommend ordering the following menu items: ・Special Harami - very good ・"King of Chijimi" - generous portion and comes with sauce, but tastes even better with the barbecue sauce ・White Cabbage Kimchi - delicious ・Samgyupsal (pork belly) for 2 people with kimchi (can be ordered for 1 person) ・Garlic Miso Set - goes well with the Samgyupsal. The highlight was definitely the barbecue sauce. Safe driving as always, Nishinorin!

The seafood pancake had lots of ingredients and the other dishes were also delicious. I ended up ordering a bit too much and got really full. Each dish had a good portion size and left me satisfied. Ordering through the smartphone was convenient for me. The restaurant was busy, but the staff were considerate and provided good service. It's not too far from the station, so I will definitely come back when I crave Korean food again!

I went on a business trip to Kyoto after a long time. Instead of having Yudofu since it's Kyoto, I went to this Korean restaurant near the hotel. I forgot to take a photo, but they had a good selection of craft beers at a reasonable price. I ordered the Samgyupsal set and the King's Chijimi from the menu. The Samgyupsal was 1500 yen for 2 people, and it came with lettuce and kimchi. When I asked if they had Sangchu lettuce, they said they only had regular lettuce. Ordering through the phone was convenient, but it was a bit inconvenient that I had to input everything like garlic and Gochujang to get them. There were many types of beer, but the phone order only had craft beer as an option, so I had to call a person to order other beers, which was a bit inconvenient. The King's Chijimi from the menu was thick and similar to okonomiyaki. It was quite filling, so I was satisfied with it. I ordered some Namul as an additional dish, but the kimchi and extra vegetables didn't come, maybe it was a mistake in the order? The prices were reasonable, so it might be a good choice for young people. They also had Makgeolli, so if you get used to it, you can enjoy a variety of dishes. Anyway, I'm full now, thank you for the meal.

It's a real Korean restaurant within walking distance from Kyoto Station Shinkansen Exit. The food is delicious with a great cost-performance ratio and generous portions of sweet and savory Korean dishes. I visited the restaurant around 21:30 after Mambo, with my friend Nabe-chan. The place was packed with mostly female customers due to the Korean wave trend. We had to wait a bit before being seated. We ordered ginger ale for Nabe-chan and a Heineken Extra Cold for me. For food, we had Samgyeopsal, Jjim, and Yangnyeom Chicken. The Jjim was thick and huge, enough for three people. The dipping sauce was great and we couldn't stop eating. The Yangnyeom Chicken was sweet and savory, perfect with beer. We also ordered Heartland beer. Then, a huge iron plate with three layers of meat and a set of Samgyeopsal arrived. The meat was placed on the plate, and the juices and fat flowed down. We divided it into four and wrapped it in lettuce with kimchi. It was delicious and seemed endless. Suddenly, the Jjim expanded in my stomach. We added Makgeolli and Chapchae, and even ordered a stone pot Bibimbap for the finale. The portion was overwhelming. We were recommended to try the strawberry ice cream, which was like a punishment due to its size. Overall, the food was delicious and affordable. It's best to order for 3-4 people when choosing a la carte dishes. Thank you for reading until the end. It was a satisfying meal.

Second stop. I went to a shop near Kyoto Station that has a Korean vibe. The place seemed to have been renovated with a modern neon exterior. Today, I started with some makgeolli and kimchi, then had the main dishes of chijimi and gyeranjjim (a kind of steamed egg). Personally, I was drawn to the mysterious flavor of the stone oven chijimi. The menu has changed a lot compared to before. It might be popular with young people since it's not far from Kyoto Station. However, the appeal of gyeranjjim remains a mystery to me no matter how many times I eat it (laughs). It's a bit challenging for older folks. I wish the neon-lit store had kept the charm of the city center and preserved the uniqueness of the Minami area.

There are few dining options at Kyoto Station, so before the cold wave hits, I wanted to eat something nourishing and chose Korean cuisine. I made a reservation for a weekend night visit, but it was full. It's better to visit after contacting them in advance. I'm not sure if they are short-staffed or if they normally operate with few staff, but everything from ordering to serving took a long time. We had Samgyeopsal and Samgyetang, and the taste was excellent. Samgyeopsal came with Sangchu and Baechu Kimchi. Other customers ordered garlic and miso, so we decided to order them as well. It would have been nice if they had mentioned it on the menu, as it significantly boosted the flavor. Both Samgyeopsal and Samgyetang came in portions for two people. It was a generous amount that made us feel like our stomachs were about to burst. The bill was reasonable, around 3000 yen per person. I would like to visit this restaurant again if the service improves. Thank you for the meal.

At a welcome party in Kyoto, we went to a place that was less than 10 minutes from Kyoto Station Hachijo-guchi. The first floor had mainly table seats, while the second floor had tatami seating. We chose to sit in the tatami area, which had a "hori" style tatami. We started with the Chijimi course, which was crispy on both sides. It was topped with a lot of Tok, special kimchi, and salad. You can have unlimited refills of kimchi. Then came the all-star lineup of beef, pork, and chicken, each grilled to perfection on a hot plate. We enjoyed eating them as Samgyupsal! Delicious! Just when we thought we were satisfied, a hot pot appeared. How much more will they bring out! Delicious and affordable Korean restaurant!

When it comes to Korean cuisine, this famous place is a must-visit. The restaurant, named "King of Chijimi," serves fluffy and hearty chijimi pancakes with plenty of ingredients. They also include rice cakes, so you'll definitely feel full after eating. The samgyupsal comes with kimchi and wrapped vegetables only. As someone who loves to wrap samgyupsal in ssamjang, garlic, and green chili peppers, I found the samgyupsal here a bit lacking. However, at a bargain price of 1500 yen for two servings, it's understandable.

A shop that only offers set courses, but the cost performance is great! (The all-you-can-drink option is cheap) Samgyeopsal -> Delicious! Jumun Jumun Chisa Nae -> Not enough (lol) Jjim -> It felt a little bland but I liked it! It was a bit challenging for two people to finish the portions (lol) I don't remember the fried rice at the end. It seems like a fun place to enjoy with friends, so I want to go for a party next time!

I visited after a long time. Reservations are necessary, it seems. I made a reservation two weeks ago for the Prince course at 4000 yen. The interior of the restaurant is designed to resemble a traditional home-cooked meal place, with bright lighting. The place was full of people of all ages by 7 o'clock. The staff were working hard, but there were some order mistakes and delays, making it a bit stressful for us. Even though we hadn't received our last drink order, we felt like we were being rushed to leave. As for the food, well, it was okay. We had chijimi and samgyeopsal. If you prefer to order a la carte based on your mood rather than a set course, it might be a bit challenging. If you enjoy a lively atmosphere and want to casually enjoy some stable dishes, this place might be perfect for you.

I'm in Kyoto, so I tried to save money by not being too fancy, please someone come with me. I'm on a business trip for consulting today. The hotel on the other side is near Hachijo-guchi, so I chose this place within walking distance. When I called to make a reservation, they said they only offer a course menu. I hesitated for a moment, feeling a bit of a hassle, but I wanted to eat delicious Korean pancakes, so I decided to come here. I ordered the course set for 4,000 yen, which includes dishes and all-you-can-drink. In conclusion, I am very satisfied. The course all-you-can-drink was just right, and I was satisfied with the variety, taste, and quantity of dishes such as salad, kimchi, chijimi, jorim, samgyeopsal, beef, chicken, and jjigae hot pot. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also nice. The staff are sincere, and it gives off a feeling of being in Korea, making it a place that really sets the mood. I feel like I discovered a good restaurant after a long time. I highly recommend it. I wish there was one in Tokyo too.

There are many local Korean restaurants on the south side of Kyoto Station that offer authentic Korean home-cooked meals in a charmingly Korean atmosphere. Among them, this restaurant is recommended for parties. Currently, they only offer set courses ranging from 3400 yen to 5000 yen with all-you-can-drink options. Each course has a different duration for the all-you-can-drink option and different dishes after the samgyeopsal. On this day, we chose the 4000 yen course with 180 minutes of all-you-can-drink, and we selected the pajeon as the main dish instead of samgyeopsal. After appetizers like namul and kimchi, we had the pajeon, which was my favorite type - fluffy and crispy. Then came the samgyeopsal and a huge serving of mysterious chicken meat. The amount of chicken was impressive, and it went well with the grilled kimchi. Just as we were getting full, the pajeon arrived! It was delicious. Although we were a group of three, the noodles and ingredients were served generously in a large pot. Yum! I wish we had ordered some kimbap as well. As we left, we were given a small ice cream for dessert, and we paid the bill of 4000 yen before leaving. We were so busy eating, drinking, and chatting that the 180 minutes flew by! The atmosphere is lively and casual, and some smell and dirt are expected, so it's not recommended to dress formally or in clean clothes when visiting. I will definitely go back again!

It seems like a famous restaurant~ The pancake is thick and delicious. The pork belly is thin and the portion is a bit small~ The stew has a unique flavor~ but it's also delicious!

I was drawn to the word "王様" (king) and made a reservation online to visit this restaurant. I ordered a course with all-you-can-drink option, and the amount of food was overwhelming. The all-you-can-drink menu ranged from the cheapest option to makgeolli, so I could enjoy a variety of drinks. In terms of cost performance, it was excellent. The restaurant is within walking distance from Kyoto Station and seems to cater more towards students. We were seated on the second floor in a traditional tatami room with a sunken kotatsu table, which was very relaxing. I was intrigued by the menu that the group of students next to us ordered, so I would like to come back next time and try a la carte menu instead of a course. Thank you for the meal.

The taste of the food is decent, but the portion size is good for young people. However, the course meal is lacking in quantity, and doesn't quite match the name of the restaurant. That's a bit disappointing. The atmosphere of the restaurant is like something you'd see in a Korean drama, which is amusing.
