Located right near Terada Station, this is a Spanish restaurant. I was surprised to find such a nice restaurant in this area! The interior is not very spacious, and the chef cooks and takes orders by himself. The paella takes some time to prepare, so it's better to make a reservation in advance. Even with a reservation, it took about 40 minutes. Overall, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is relaxing. There are regular customers who create a fun atmosphere. I definitely want to go back!

It was delicious! I found this place on my way back from visiting a friend. It's close to the station but a bit hard to find. It was a bit late when I went, so there was only one group at the counter, but the food came out quickly and was delicious. The wine was a bit pricey, but the octopus Garcia style, shrimp in oil, garlic toast, and paella were all delicious. It was hard to see from the table, but the chef seemed quite young. Keep up the good work!

This area has a rare, adult atmosphere restaurant. With calm lighting and spacious seating, the wine bottles add to the ambiance. They offer set courses, but I always order a la carte. The recommended dishes on the menu are all delicious. They seem to use good quality ingredients. The flavors are rich and solid. My go-to dish is the small shrimp ajillo. The freshly baked bread that comes with it is really tasty. I appreciate that the contents vary with ingredients like raisins and sesame. I like how Spanish cuisine maintains the natural flavors of the ingredients. Some dishes may seem monotonous, but that's just the nature of this cuisine. The portion size of each dish is not large, but with this flavor, I have no complaints. I wouldn't want my favorite restaurant to become cheap and attract a rowdy crowd or noisy parties. If you don't order expensive items like paella, you can enjoy two glasses of wine and a meal for around 4000 yen per person. The lady (perhaps the owner?) always sees me off at the entrance when I leave. I feel happy on my way home. One small disappointment this time was that there was a customer with a baby! The mother scolded the baby every time it made noise, but the fault lies with the parents who brought the baby. It must be painful for the baby to be in such a restaurant at 9 pm. It ruins the atmosphere and I hope they consider the inconvenience to others.

I visited El Bacco once at night in April, and the experience was complimentary so I refrained from writing a review. This time, I went for lunch and paid for it myself, so I will share my thoughts. The restaurant is located near Terada Station on the Kintetsu Kyoto Line, just a minute's walk from the west exit. The interior design is stylish and the atmosphere is enhanced by Clapton's music playing in the background. I sat at the counter, which was elevated slightly above the floor, giving it a stage-like feel. I ordered the El Bacco lunch set for ¥1,000, which included three tapas (mussels with aioli sauce, stir-fried bean sprouts, tofu with anchovy and onion fritters... wait, was it four?), today's small portion of pasta (simple dish with eggplant, I don't know the exact name), salad, and the daily meat dish (fried chicken wings). The plate also came with a sandwich and a drink (iced coffee, with free refills for hot coffee). The homemade dishes had a cute and unique taste, though the abundance of oil in the pasta and stir-fry was a bit concerning. The service was excellent, with both the owner and his wife exuding a calm and friendly demeanor. Overall, I preferred the sophisticated and chic atmosphere of El Bacco at night, but the lunch experience was also enjoyable.
