Breakfast ¥2420 Visited around 8 am during Golden Week. The restaurant was not too crowded, so we were able to enjoy our meal leisurely. The maximum stay time was one hour. You can choose from 4 types of egg dishes, which come with a salad. In addition, there is a bread buffet and a drink bar. I ordered an omelette this time. The focaccia and carrot cake were delicious!

I stayed at this hotel, so I had breakfast here! [About the shop] ・A bakery on the 1st floor of NOHGA HOTEL ・All handmade in the store ・Proudly using domestic wheat [Mini bread] ¥120 ・I realized it's expensive, but it felt very cheap compared to other items, so I ended up putting it on the tray ・It seemed popular as it quickly sold out ・Chewy and moist, so it still tasted good even after some time ・They sell it as it is, but the surface wasn't dry, and it was delicious [Matcha and Adzuki bean Kugelhopf] ¥480 ・Practically a dessert ・Moist and not dry, it was soft and delicious ・I hesitated with other types, but since it's Kyoto, I tend to choose matcha [Matcha and Sakura Muffin] ¥480 ・Muffin suitable for the current season ・Also moist, not too sweet, and incredibly delicious [VEGAN Grilled Vegetables] ¥530 ・Lots of vegetables, yet you can eat it without them falling out between the bread ・Refreshing seasoning, perfect for breakfast [Anchovy Olive] ¥360 ・This was the most delicious ・Perfectly salty, with plenty of ingredients ・The bread is chewy, but the surface is crispy and really tasty [HOT Coffee L size] ¥590 ・A bit pricey, but I bought it anyway ・This was the right choice! Low acidity, smooth and fragrant, and delicious... [Atmosphere inside the shop] ・Connected to the hotel lobby, with a chic and open atmosphere ・The calming color scheme is perfect for a morning atmosphere ・Since it's connected to the lobby, the seating is relatively limited [Sakiti's Point] ・I went around 9:00 in the morning, and they had almost all varieties available ・They make them next to you, so I think it's fine, but they tend to run out by early afternoon ・Since everything looks delicious, if you want to try various items, it's good to share with 2 or 3 people.

For breakfast, I bought bread at the bakery shop on the 1st floor where you can eat in. There were so many cute breads lined up that I couldn't decide which one to eat. On this day, I had the following menu: - Pretzel with chocolate pistachio - ¥330 - Mini loaf of bread - ¥120 - French toast - ¥160 - Egg sandwich - ¥430 - Croque-monsieur with scallops and komatsuna - ¥420 The prices ranged from around ¥100 to ¥400. The most delicious ones were the egg sandwich and the croque-monsieur. The egg sandwich was palm-sized and had a cute appearance like a maritozzo. The slightly chewy bread was filled with plenty of eggs. The croque-monsieur had a strong cheese flavor and was delicious. It's not common to find a bread with scallops on top, right? I thought they were a bit expensive, especially over ¥400, but they were so delicious that I was satisfied with the price.

First Visit 202302 (No.4270) 1. Purpose of Visit - It is the last day of my Kyoto trip, so I visited the shop to buy some bread. 2. Shop Information - Genre on Tabelog: Bread - The shop opened on March 18, 2022 - Located on the 1st floor of "NOHGAHOTEL" along Gojo Street - Opening hours: 08:00-18:00 - Closed on: None - A bakery located in the cafe lounge of the hotel, where you can also eat in 3. Crowdedness and Atmosphere on the Day - Visited around 08:00 on a weekday, no customers before me and 2 customers after me - Stylish atmosphere from the layout of the space to the arrangement of the products 4. Customer Service - Polite service following the manual 5. Purchased Items - Croque-monsieur Tomato Bacon (420 yen) Thick bacon sandwiched with a whole slice of bacon, a delicious item that is also satisfying to eat - Mini bread (120 yen) Delicious bread, but too small... (>_<) After this, I planned to visit a bakery that I liked when I visited Kyoto last time, so I chose the above items. However, the planned shop was temporarily closed for facility maintenance, so I regretted not buying a larger item. Lesson learned. Thank you for the meal.

I enjoyed dinner, accommodation, and breakfast at NOHGA Hotel, and I bought some sweet and crispy sugar toast and maple sugar toast that I had for breakfast on my way back. It was a stylish and popular bakery where you can buy even if you are not staying, so I will definitely visit again.

Egg sandwich for 430 yen. Caramel banana gâteau for 480 yen. Banana bread for 420 yen. Large hot coffee for 590 yen. A trendy hotel bakery with a small selection of items. Their specialty is the Maritozzo-style egg sandwich, a huge fluffy bread with mascarpone cream. The gâteau is a soft milk bread with plenty of caramel sauce. The banana bread has a crispy crust and is not too sweet. The coffee is refreshing and tasty. They also gave me some rusk as a bonus.

The mini bread from CICON BAKERY in NOHGA HOTEL in front of Keihan Gojo Station is light and easy to eat. The Hokkaido and olive bread goes well with dishes and has a delicious taste. I would like to try it at the restaurant next time!

I stayed at this hotel, so I went to have breakfast~(*^▽^*) The place is really stylish, with a slightly dimly lit atmosphere and chic gray interior. The bread also has a stylish feel, but it's a bit on the pricey side. I had a soy latte and an egg sandwich, as well as French toast. The egg sandwich bread was delicious, I wanted to get a takeout if it was closer. I also wanted to try something like a Kugelhopf, but I had already bought bread from another shop and couldn't buy more. Although I couldn't do a proper comparison, the egg sandwich was really tasty. There's no discount for a set, so it's not exactly a morning set, but I think it's great for having a stylish breakfast or brunch (*´∇`*)❤️ There were various sandwich options and it seemed like they also serve alcohol! The potato bread I took out seemed like it would go well with wine, but unfortunately, I don't have any wine at home (T ^ T) so I couldn't verify that.

Heading north on Gojo-dori towards Kiyomizu-dera, there is a hotel before reaching Higashioji-dori. I decided to stop by around 1 o'clock on a Sunday as I heard there was a bakery corner in the lobby on the first floor. Right next to it was the baking area, where they bring out freshly made pastries on trays for display. This time, I mainly got some donuts that were freshly made, and they were delicious. I heard you can also eat in on the rooftop, so I might try that next time if I come earlier.

The trendy bakery "CICON BAKERY by NOHGA HOTEL" located within the hotel. From 8 am to 1 pm, you can enjoy a leisurely meal on the rooftop ❤︎ The terrace is full of openness, making the food taste even better. At night, it turns into a bar with a great atmosphere. The egg sandwich martozzo is plump and delicious! The balance between the filling and the bread is just right. The mascarpone adds richness and smoothness that is irresistible. The chocolate banana muffin is dense and has a nice weight to it! It's fluffy and moist ❤︎ The dough is subtly sweet, allowing the sweetness of the chocolate and banana to shine through. The weather was great, allowing for a relaxing time and overall satisfaction. All the bread looked delicious, making it hard to choose. Thank you for the feast ✨ [Recommended for "Girls' night out, hanging out with friends, or a date"]

I rely on the bakery attached to CICON for my morning routine. The Apple Custard is 280 yen, Matcha Brioche is 280 yen, Bagel is 280 yen, and French Toast is 200 yen. I have used their services a few times, always opting for takeout. You can also enjoy your meal in the lounge, which is a nice option. My favorite is the cute-shaped Brioche. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I had egg sandwich and coffee at a cafe. They had a variety of breads, all freshly baked, in a stylish space. The cafe was located near the hotel lobby and was bustling with hotel guests, take-out customers, and cafe patrons.

I visited 12 temples on my 5th pilgrimage to the 33 Kannon sacred sites in Luoyang. I stayed at "SH by the square hotel Kyoto Kiya-cho", a lovely hotel along the Takase River. A new hotel, "Noga Hotel Kiyomizu Kyoto", has opened in Higashiyama Gojo, with a lobby featuring "Shikon Bakery". The shelves are lined with freshly baked bread, all looking delicious. The highlight is the "Tamago Sandwich (430 yen)" introduced by Tokiko Tokiwa on the Kyoto Gaho program. It is a voluminous and beautiful sandwich in the style of a maritozzo, with egg salad mayo containing mascarpone. The soft and moist bread has a rich and gentle flavor that is addictively good. The seating area is stylish, and if time permits, you can also enjoy your meal on the rooftop terrace.

From 8 am to 1 pm, you can enjoy Bakery's Chocolat Framboise, iced cafe latte, and hot cafe latte on the rooftop. Take the elevator up (it smelled amazing inside). Sit on the sofa seats under the blue sky and enjoy your treats. It was a bit hot around 10 am, so my wife wished she had chosen the iced coffee. Despite the heat, we had a lovely time in a wonderful setting. On our way out, we returned the dishes and picked up some bread to take home - mini baguette, apple custard brioche, orange croque-monsieur, and passion fruit butter (apparently only sold here in western Japan). We tried spreading the passion fruit butter on toasted bread and even mixed it into yogurt - it had a fruity taste. The bread was soft and the fillings were delicious. The croque-monsieur was especially tasty. We'll definitely come back to enjoy the rooftop when it's a bit cooler! The bakery also has a small dining area attached.

I entered the hotel lobby area where you can also eat in. I wanted to grab a quick lunch and decided to try their sandwiches. The outdoor seating looked nice but I preferred to sit inside where it was more comfortable. I passed on the sandwich wrapped in paper bag as it seemed hard to eat on the go. I opted for the croque monsieur which looked good. It was heavier than I expected when I picked it up with tongs, but I decided to go for it anyway. The croque monsieur was quite filling with a generous portion. The round one looked interesting too, but I didn't have time to eat it later. Overall, it was a satisfying meal in the hotel ambiance.

This is a bakery located on the first floor of a stylish new hotel facing Gojo Street. I had a reservation at the rooftop bar of this hotel, but I couldn't resist stopping by this lovely bakery. The hotel is really wonderful! The bakery, located in a spacious open space, has a wide variety of breads displayed, and the space itself is very stylish, which boosts your mood. The bakery attached to the hotel offers a rich variety of bread at reasonable prices. I decided to pick up some bread to enjoy the next morning. The most impressive item was a cute mini loaf of bread with a baked stamp in the middle (unfortunately, the image has disappeared). The two photos inside the store were provided by a friend. I often visit the area near Kiyomizu Gojo, so I hope to find another opportunity to visit this place again. Thank you for the meal!

I was planning to do takeout, but when I heard that I could eat at the rooftop bar from 8:00 to 13:00, I decided to dine in instead. When I said "I'll eat in," they asked, "Can I bake it for you? Should I cut it in half?" so I agreed. Going up to the rooftop bar on the 6th floor in the elevator, it was almost like a private event. You can see Kiyomizu Temple. The sofa is comfortable with just the right amount of bounce, and there are plenty of plants that are soothing. The anchovy and olive bread is full of olives. Since it was baked, the crispy surface and chewy inside stand out. The anchovy and olive flavors are not overpowering, just right. The matcha brioche could use a bit more buttery flavor in the dough. However, the juicy black beans and mildly sweet red bean paste are good. The visual is cute like a baby castella from a street stall. The bagel has a crispy and chewy texture that you can only enjoy when it's baked. It's good that there's no strange sweetness. I recommend the hard bread here.

Nohga Hotel, a hotel brand by Nomura Real Estate Group, opened in Ueno in 2018, Akihabara in 2020, and now in Kyoto's Higashiyama Gojo in April. The hotel features CICON, a restaurant that serves grill dishes cooked in a Josper oven imported from Spain, a bakery, and a rooftop bar. The bakery offers around 50 types of bread, including sandwiches made with campanile using domestic wheat and various bread made without dairy products using a water roux method. One great thing is that until the rooftop bar opens at 1 pm, you can enjoy the purchased bread at the rooftop bar. On this day, despite the strong wind, we had a relaxing time enjoying the view while eating a Maritozzo-style egg sandwich and a cafe latte at the rooftop bar.

■Visit Date: April 23, 2022 ■Items Received This time, I purchased 4 types of bread in addition to the regular white bread. They all have a rich and delicious flavor. The white bread also has a hint of sweetness, making it very tasty. I also bought the lilikoi butter this time, and it was delicious. Whether on toasted bread or plain bread, it's a truly exquisite treat. I was able to savor the delicious bread thoroughly and enjoy various flavors. There were still many types of bread available, so I would like to visit this shop again. ■Blog https://ay-style.net/

The newly opened bakery on the 1st floor of the NOHGA HOTEL on Higashiyama Gojo in Kyoto is stylish with a visible workshop. The staff are proficient in foreign languages, which is impressive. They offer a wide range of bread, from French bread to sandwiches and hard bread. I heard they also have a rooftop, so I'd like to try eating there next time.
