Roppongi, a branch of the famous Michelin-starred Charyo Miyasaka! But you don't have to worry that it's not as good as the original! The head chef, Mr. Igarashi, is considerate and friendly. Sitting at the counter is recommended! Even though Mr. Igarashi is young, I personally love his personality. The atmosphere and the relationship with the head chef are important to me when dining out! As for the food, the omakase course for 12,800 yen... seriously! Of course, if you drink alcohol, it might add up, but I don't drink haha. I will definitely keep coming back to this place. Normally, a Japanese restaurant of this caliber would cost around 20,000 yen or more. I wonder if the prices will go up in the future? The first dish is crucial, in my opinion. Matsutake and white miso combined... so delicious! Wow, this place is really something. The clear clam soup was just slightly saltier than my preference... but everything else was spot on. Of course, the cost of a 30,000 yen course is different. Compared to that, they may not be using high-end ingredients, but I truly think it's great. It's only been open for about a year? I can already sense it will become difficult to make reservations. They will apparently start serving lunch from early November, I will definitely be going! Also, taking photos was initially not allowed but seems to be allowed since around September. Of course, remember to follow proper etiquette like no flash and do not disturb other diners!

I visited "Charyo Miyasaka," which is the only branch of the renowned restaurant in Minami Aoyama that was awarded two Michelin stars just one year after its opening. Located on the 3rd floor of Roppongi Hills Residence Building B, the entrance was a little difficult to find. The interior of the restaurant is very stylish and chic, with subdued lighting that creates a calming atmosphere. The use of wooden materials throughout the space adds a soothing touch. The private rooms are completely isolated, ensuring privacy and making it suitable for business meetings or entertaining clients. The dinner course consists of around 10 dishes, featuring a daily selection of fresh sashimi, colorful small side dishes, flavorful soup, creatively prepared fish and vegetable dishes, and perfectly cooked rice made from homegrown rice. The tea served at the end was also delicious. Each dish was visually appealing and delicious, making it a truly satisfying dining experience. The staff were attentive and provided excellent service with attention to detail, ensuring a pleasant meal. Overall, it is a fantastic restaurant. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

While it is labeled as Japanese cuisine, there are hints of multicultural influences throughout, and overall the flavors are simply amazing. The crab croquettes were deliciously good. #Charyo Miyasaka #Japanese cuisine #Roppongi #restaurant #gourmet #delicious food #foodie #food lover # Instagrammable #Tokyo #Minato-ku #Shibuya-ku #restaurant #gourmet #delicious #foodie #food lover #photogenic #Tokyo #Minato-ku #Shibuya-ku

A Japanese restaurant in Kagurazaka with a great atmosphere. From the entrance to the interior, the service is wonderful, making it suitable for dates or taking foreign guests. The meal was carefully prepared and the portions were just right. The staff were friendly and attentive, leaving a good impression.

I made a reservation for a meal with a friend. The location of the restaurant was a bit difficult to find. The interior of the restaurant was unified in a dark atmosphere and it was beautiful. The overall service felt lacking to me, including knowledge of ingredients and alcohol. The appetizers were very beautiful.

Michelin ★★ branch restaurant. In conclusion, it feels like a Japanese restaurant geared towards inbound tourists. The atmosphere is nice, with a hint of Japanese wabi-sabi aesthetics. However, when it comes to the most important factors, such as taste and operations, it falls short. The dishes lack depth in flavor and seasoning, with odd notes that make them unappetizing. Despite some Kyoto-style elements, the overall execution lacks finesse, making it hard to enjoy. The most obvious example was the sea urchin and yuba, which seemed to use low-quality ingredients. In terms of operations, the service was slow - even with a limited menu, waiting three hours was unacceptable. The chaser glasses had an unpleasant smell, a critical flaw for a Japanese restaurant. The staff seemed understaffed and lacked knowledge about sake, making pairing suggestions unreliable. While foreign customers might enjoy the ambiance, it's not something I would want them to consider as real Japanese cuisine. The ease of getting reservations also makes sense given this context.

Entrance is a bit hard to find, but once you get inside, the high-quality atmosphere is apparent from the hinoki hand towels. The dishes that came out in small bowls were all popular with women and delicious. The surprising beef stew at the end was also excellent, but the highlight was the delicious simmered rice. The price is on the higher side, but worth it.

I went to this restaurant with a friend and had a course meal. We started with a delicious appetizer of yomogi (mugwort) and anglerfish liver with fresh spring onions, which was excellent. The sashimi was top-notch, especially with the salt sauce and kelp soy sauce. The deep-fried tilefish and assorted dishes were also very tasty. The rice set with pickled mountain pepper was a perfect way to finish the meal. Finally, we enjoyed strawberry daifuku for dessert.

It was an absolutely amazing dining experience, so I consulted with a gourmet friend who recommended this place. I went there and it was incredible! The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is delicious. This might be a hidden gem that I want to keep to myself. I will choose carefully who to go with next time and definitely visit again!

Miyasaka, a Michelin two-star restaurant, has a branch called Saryo Miyasaka located on the residence side of Roppongi Hills, next to my favorite French restaurant Reglisse. The exterior of Saryo Miyasaka resembles a ninja house, and it has received a bronze medal on Tabelog and selected as one of the top 100 restaurants. The interior is stylish with a black color scheme, offering a few tables, a counter with 8 seats, and private rooms, making it a relatively spacious Japanese restaurant. Chef Shota Igarashi, who hails from Fukushima Prefecture, has incorporated many Fukushima ingredients into the menu.
The warm dishes start off the meal, with Toro sawara, tofu skin, and nameko mushrooms. The fish dish is Hirame and Kammas, surprisingly thick cuts with a rich flavor. The soup tying everything together is of high quality. The sashimi dish is beautifully presented with full-bodied flavors. The appetizer featuring Matsuba crab is memorable with its rich and sparkling soup. The eight-course meal is almost artistic, with unique combinations like persimmon seed coating on Shishamo fish.
The lotus root cake dessert and white miso soup were refined and flavorful. The grilled dish of Guji with black maitake mushroom sauce had a French-inspired touch. The meal is completed with a serving of rice, accompanied by delicious dishes like beef with eggs and pickles. The matcha and daifuku dessert was a perfect ending to the meal. The course meal, priced at 18,000 yen including tax, was considered reasonable for the quality provided. Despite the high drink prices and slow service due to the delayed arrival of another group, the excellent food and comfortable atmosphere make Saryo Miyasaka a great dining choice for various occasions.

I enjoyed a luxurious dinner with a friend of ten years. We dined in a beautiful, modern Japanese space and enjoyed exquisite dishes. The atmosphere was relaxing and not overwhelming. The ingredients from various regions of Japan were presented in a sophisticated manner. The seafood dishes were particularly delicious. The highlight was the rice cooked in a clay pot. The shiny and plump grains were so delicious that we couldn't stop eating. The pickles and miso soup served alongside the rice were the perfect complement. My companion was also very satisfied. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I reserved the 18,000 yen course meal and all the dishes were delicious! I was honestly surprised. There wasn't a single dish that I thought was just okay. The foie gras was particularly impressive. The clay pot rice was also amazing. The atmosphere of the restaurant was calm, and the variety of colorful dishes using various ingredients made for a very satisfying dining experience. I would love to visit again.

Located on the 3rd floor of Residence B in Roppongi Hills Keyakizaka, this Japanese restaurant is a sister restaurant of the Omotesando's "Miyasaka," which had held two Michelin stars until the 2021 edition. The concept here is to enjoy Japanese cuisine in a more casual and modern setting. The menu includes dishes like lotus root steamed with Kaga lotus root and conger eel, Mie prefecture fatty mackerel grilled with straw, white miso soup with snow crab and taro, and a variety of other dishes such as steamed oysters, rice with Yamagata beef, and strawberry daifuku. Priced at 19,800 yen (tax included), the cuisine may not feature extravagant premium ingredients, but each dish is carefully crafted with original and interesting combinations. The clientele seems relatively casual and youthful, making it suitable for gatherings with friends rather than formal business entertaining. The white miso soup was particularly delicious, and the assortment of dishes was vibrant and enjoyable, creating a delightful dining experience.

I was able to have a leisurely chat with the chef during my second visit and learned about the depth, variety, and passion of food once again. It was a delightful time. The dishes provided reflect this condensed essence. The aesthetic expressed through tableware and presentation is one of them. I can understand the amount of trial and error it took to arrive at the optimal combination of ingredients and seasoning. A chef who possesses an unending spirit of inquiry and humility will surely continue to evolve. I am completely satisfied once again. Thank you for the meal.

Nestled in a corner of the hills, this hidden gem may be a bit hard to find. It's safer to take a walk around to confirm its location or ask at the information center inside the hills. The interior of the restaurant is a calm space with a couple of counter seats and tables, ensuring a comfortable dining experience without crowding. The staff is always available for orders, and the impeccable time management leads to a 2.5-hour meal. The dishes, created with the chef's creativity and dedication, offer a consistently delicious taste with no compromises. It's recommended to pair the dishes with sake. The meal ends with a thoughtful farewell from the chef. At around 20,000 yen, the high-quality dishes make it worth every penny. "Thank you for the meal", and I will definitely visit again.

I visited "Charyo Miyasaka", a Japanese cuisine restaurant with a BRONZE AWARD, located a 7-minute walk from Roppongi Station. I made a reservation for 7 pm on a weekday. The entrance of the restaurant, although it looks like a wooden sliding door, is actually automatic. The interior has a retro-modern feel, which heightens the anticipation for the meal. The first appetizer was visually appealing, with sea urchin and Kamo eggplant that tasted delicious! The sashimi was delightful, followed by a simmered abalone dish and a vibrant assortment of seasonal dishes. The fried young ayu was flavorful and delicious. The corn scruffed soup served as a palate cleanser was also tasty. The seasonal simmered dish included hamo from Awaji Island and grilled swordfish. The meal concluded with a famous pot rice dish. The rice, named Yumepirika, had a firm texture and was delicious. The pickles and sukiyaki paired perfectly with the rice. Overall, it was a delicious dining experience.

Located in the quiet area of Residence B building, this is the only branch of the Michelin two-star "Goryori Miyasaka" restaurant. The restaurant exudes a sense of elegance and has a great atmosphere. The concept here is to provide Japanese cuisine in a more approachable and affordable way, with carefully selected ingredients prepared with precision, resulting in a satisfying dining experience without relying on expensive ingredients. The restaurant's commitment to using carefully selected rice, which is home-milled and cooked with water from various famous sources, ensures that the rice is so delicious that it almost becomes the main attraction. I opted for the 15,000 yen omakase course (which will be 18,000 yen from September onwards), and the detailed menu is as follows:
- Kamo eggplant and sea urchin with cucumber sauce
- Gensuke conger eel with grated bell pepper
- Bonito and loofah
- Sesame tofu with abalone and hijiki seaweed
- Hassun assortment
- Fried juvenile ayu fish
- Puréed corn soup
- Hiramasa from Awaji Island
- Grilled alfonsino
- Clay pot rice
- Blueberry daifuku
Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented, and the use of fish in Japanese cuisine to create such a satisfying experience is truly remarkable. I highly recommend this restaurant for those looking to savor the flavors of the season and I personally look forward to visiting regularly.

The restaurant has a dimly lit atmosphere but with nice lighting that highlights the dishes. The staff are polite and professional, creating a favorable impression. The seasonal dishes are carefully prepared with a focus on simplicity and quality. The flavors are subtle and the emphasis on vegetables makes it a good choice for those who are health-conscious. The highlight of the meal was the sparkling white rice cooked in a delicious earthenware pot, which was served with various accompaniments like dried small fish and beef simmered in soy sauce. The generous portions of pickles and the delicious rice made it hard to resist eating more, despite being full. The plum wine soda drink was also just right and refreshing for the hot summer. The cool ambiance inside the restaurant was also very pleasant.

Located in Roppongi Hills Residence, Chanoyu Miyasaka is a restaurant that has been selected for "The Tabelog Award 2022 Bronze.” It can be a bit challenging to find in the unfamiliar area of Roppongi Hills. Reservations are relatively easy to make, and we booked through Tabelog for our visit. The restaurant interior is beautiful, with high ceilings, making it a perfect space for a date. The dishes have a strong dashi flavor, and the rice is from Hokkaido, called Yumepirika. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

An expensive but meticulously prepared restaurant with delicious food. Every dish is high quality and the white rice at the end is especially delicious. Though filling, the white rice and miso soup were surprisingly tasty. It may be pricy, but it's great for business meals or special occasions.

Eating out every day in order to conquer 100 famous restaurants. Today, I visited a Japanese restaurant in Roppongi called Saryo Miyasaka. It is a renowned Japanese restaurant. It was my first time visiting this place. It has also been selected as a Bronze award winner, so I was looking forward to it. The restaurant is located in Roppongi Hills Residence, which is not a place I usually visit. It is right across from another restaurant called La Brianza, where I have been before. I climbed the stairs from Keyaki-zaka and entered the restaurant. The entrance doesn't stand out much with the name of the restaurant, so it was a bit hard to tell where the entrance was. But upon closer look, the name of the restaurant was written on the entrance and curtain. Inside, it felt like stepping into a quiet cave. As I walked further in, there were several spacious table seats. I sat down at the table I was guided to. I had the chef's special course for 15,000 yen. There was no menu, so each dish was explained in detail as it was served, and each one was beautifully presented with amazing ingredients and flavors. Some dishes even looked like works of art. They pay attention to the rice as well. I was dining with others so I couldn't remember all the details of each dish such as the ingredients' origins, but it was truly wonderful. Additionally, the prices for the dishes were very reasonable. I definitely want to come back to this restaurant.

The atmosphere was very quiet and nice, but I was a bit loud because I was drunk, which I apologize for. It was the kind of place where you could quietly enjoy your meal. The food overall was not particularly outstanding, but rather average for this area. The prices seemed reasonable considering the taste and location. There are other cozy and delicious restaurants around with slightly lower prices, so personally, I may not have a strong reason to go to this restaurant on Keyaki-zaka. Nevertheless, it was still a decently enjoyable evening with good food. It felt like having a meal at a typical ryokan in Hakone.
