It's been a while since I visited this restaurant. My son and daughter-in-law wanted to go for yakiniku, so we decided to find a place and remembered this one. It's close to home and reasonably priced, so we decided to check it out. We arrived around 6 pm on a Saturday and found the parking lot to be about 50% full, so we went in. The non-smoking section was full due to reservations and other guests, so we reluctantly sat in the smoking section upstairs. There were about 5 tables in the room, and the other customers were families who didn't smoke, so we felt relieved. We ordered the Family Set for 3,980 yen (excluding tax) as it seemed perfect for the three of us. The set included a large plate of thick-cut kalbi, harami, loin, and three kinds of pork, as well as beef tongue, salad, seasoned cabbage, Korean seaweed, and rice for three people. The meat was decent, but we found it a bit lacking, so we added kalbi, harami, and marinated pork belly to our order. The kalbi had a bit too much fat, but it was the most flavorful. The harami had a slight hint of odor, and the marinated pork belly was average in taste. There were two types of sauce, aged sauce, and a light sauce, both of which were delicious. The salad was refreshing with a hint of sesame oil. The beef tongue was good for the price. Overall, the restaurant had improved its sauce, making it more enjoyable. We were able to avoid the waiting crowd by a narrow margin. It's a popular and budget-friendly place, and we may choose it for our next meal gathering.
