ランチ向上委員会
This is a curry specialty restaurant in Nishi-Shinjuku. It is a popular curry shop where you can eat original curry buffet style, not only in India or Japan. Although it is located at the end of Nishi-Shinjuku, the number of visitors is high, and it always seems crowded. The exterior is noticeable with a blue sign. The interior is bright and stylish with a cafe-like atmosphere with wooden tones. The lunch menu is mainly the Lunch Buffet (1,100 yen). There is also a single serving option for 900 yen, but the buffet is a better choice. There is no plate replacement rule in the buffet. You buy a meal ticket, hand it to the staff, receive a plate, and start the buffet. The curry of the day included Spicy Burnt Bisnu Curry, Kyushu Spinach Curry, Vegetable and Chicken Curry, Pork Belly Infused Pork Curry, and Extra Spicy 20 Spicy Sauce. There are various side dishes like Nishi-Shinjuku-style Tandoori Chicken, Mōyan-style Negi Harusame, Bean Sprout Namul, Udon that goes well with curry, Cabbage and Tomato Salad, Salsa Hat Veggie, Slimy Okra, Onion Pickles, Mō-style Masala Rape, Burdock Salad, Crunchy Corn, Shredded Cabbage, Pineapple, Smoked Takuan, Kimchi, and Mustard Pickles. The main dishes are Mochi Barley Rice, Florida Rice, Maeda Rice, and Potatoes. Florida Rice and Maeda Rice have a slight color to them. Drinks include Rooibos Tea and Coffee. It seems like they are replenishing ingredients to avoid waste due to the pandemic. The curry had good spiciness and flavor. The buffet offers a variety of dishes, not just curry, and plenty of vegetables. It is a good value and balanced lunch buffet.
