Visited with my family. Ordered the standard course and enjoyed various grilled dishes and side dishes. It was delicious and we were full. The cost was less than 3,000 yen per adult, so it was quite cheap. The kids were also happy, so we would like to come back again. :)

My senior said, "I'll take you to a yakiniku place!" and we ended up going near my grandparents' house (laughs). Oh well, it was delicious and enjoyable. We ate a lot and had a great time. There were a lot of young people around. Thank you for the meal. I'm full now.

I tried the all-you-can-eat course for 3,300 yen. Each cut had a different texture and tenderness, but the taste was the same.

Last month... When I was in the mood for eating beef, I was invited by a friend to go to Chifaja Shiraumecho store. This was my first visit since I went there before they had the all-you-can-eat option over a decade ago. Back then, it was a simple and easy-to-use yakiniku restaurant where you could choose between low-priced beef and high-priced premium series. Time has passed and Chifaja has transformed into a place known for its all-you-can-eat option. The Shiraumecho location is also connected to a more upscale restaurant called "An," but I think the regular Chifaja is good enough for me. Now, about my visit to Chifaja Shiraumecho store this time. Overall rating 3.5, cooking/taste 3.5, service 4.0, atmosphere 3.5, value for money 4.0, drinks 3.0. Earlier this year... I had my first experience of the 1980 yen all-you-can-eat option at the Nishiiin store, and I was amazed by how affordable it was. I remember overeating and drinking like there was no tomorrow, and my body felt uncomfortable afterwards... This second time, I learned from that lesson and decided to be more strategic. First, I ordered one serving of my favorite meat to taste test before ordering more. I decided not to order filling rice dishes or salads, as the main goal was to eat meat and drink beer, making the most of the 90-minute yakiniku time. When we ordered several types of meat, the staff asked, "Just meat and beer is okay?" to which I replied, "Once we decide on what to eat, we will order plenty." We unanimously decided on the Super Kalbi as the main dish for the day, followed by everyone's favorite Wiener sausages and lots of beer... For side dishes, we had Kimchi and Namul, each served individually. Since leaving food behind would result in a penalty, we only ordered small amounts of items other than meat and beer... We ordered the same items repeatedly, so the staff came to take our orders before they ran out... As the name suggests, the all-you-can-eat concept was well executed, and the staff were attentive in providing us with a variety of options. Before the beer ran out, they would ask, "Would you like a refill?" and they also backed up the all-you-can-drink option. The well-trained staff made a good impression, and we thoroughly enjoyed 90 minutes of beef and beer... What surprised me at this restaurant was the low prices, and they even offered unlimited soft drinks... High school students from the area were enjoying the all-you-can-eat option... If a restaurant like this had existed when I was in high school, I'm sure I would have used it too. The presence of Chifaja Shiraumecho store, which satisfies the appetites of adults, children, and students in the community, was truly felt...

When I was a student, I used to go to this restaurant with my senior colleagues from work. This time, I went with my family! When I visited after a long time, I was surprised to see that the interior of the restaurant had completely changed. At Chifaja, they offer all-you-can-eat! So, we opted for the "Super Satisfying (¥2,480)" plan out of the three options available - "Super Value (¥1,980)", "Super Satisfying (¥2,480)", and "Super Blissful (¥2,980)". You can choose from about 90 items in 90 minutes. First, they brought out the tongue and loin, and then you can order your favorite items. You can order up to three items of meat at a time (if I remember correctly...). And so, the all-you-can-eat experience began! I chose the "Super Satisfying" plan because you can order the "Aged Harami Marinated" which is not available in the "Super Value" plan. The difference is that the aged one is marinated in sauce for a day, while the soft one has the sauce poured over it. Marinating the meat in sauce adds flavor. However, marinating for a day makes the meat tougher, so if you prefer softer meat, the soft Harami might be better. Leaving that aside (laughs), I ate until I thought 'I ate too much!'... The power of all-you-can-eat is terrifying. I ate a lot until I thought 'I ate too much!'... The power of all-you-can-eat is terrifying. Although the taste is not that great (laughs), considering the all-you-can-eat concept and the price, it's reasonable. Seek quantity over quality. It's a grateful restaurant for families with children or students as you can enjoy barbecue reasonably. Such restaurants are not bad once in a while! I'm glad there's Chifaja in Kyoto! By the way, it's "charcoal fire". Tongue salt♪ Upper belly♪ Upper loin♪ Tetchan♪ Boneless short rib♪ Grilled vegetables♪ Cheap and delicious♪ Chi♪ Fa♪ Ja♫ Smiling together♪ Chi♪ Fa♪ Ja♬ Barbecue at Chifaja♪ Let's eat a lot♪

I had been thinking about going there once, and my wish came true. The entrance of the restaurant is narrow, but since there has always been a all-you-can-eat yakiniku place at this location, I arrived without hesitation. The interior of the restaurant is long and narrow, but surprisingly spacious, and it seems to be designed with couples in mind, making it just right for two people. It also has an atmosphere where it is possible for a woman to visit alone. Upon entering, you are asked whether you want to order individual items or go for the all-you-can-eat option. Without hesitation, I chose "all-you-can-eat." The 90-minute time limit is a bit tough, but I was helped by my friend who quickly finished their plates. The "tanshio" had more chewiness than expected, which was disappointing, but the other meats were reasonably delicious. The speed from ordering to serving is also quite good, isn't it?

My husband and I used to occasionally go to Chifaja's all-you-can-eat restaurant with friends when we were students, and we were reminiscing about it. So, we decided to go there with our family after a long time. The Chifaja store in Shirakumacho, where we used to go, has been beautifully renovated, surprising us. But as always, there were many young people, and we were one of the few families. Chifaja's selling point is the all-you-can-eat menu starting from 1980 yen, but the 1980 yen course doesn't include beef tongue, only pork tongue. (Come to think of it, it has always been like that!) So, we ordered the 2480 yen course, one level up. The frozen tongue salt, crispy and frozen, arrived just like in the past. Don't worry. It thaws when you put it on the grill (laughs). The kalbi, loin, and harami all arrive frozen, but there's no problem with any of them! The children ate a lot of salad, Korean seaweed, kimchi, and various other non-meat items in addition to the all-you-can-eat meat, and finished with dessert, feeling full. It had been a long time since my husband and I had been to an all-you-can-eat restaurant, but we savored the nostalgia while eating a lot of meat, not wanting to lose to the young people around us (laughs). The taste is well...I guess it's because we used to be able to go there multiple times when we were young (laughs). It's like the taste of a snack-like grilled meat. But maybe that's the charm of this restaurant. The Chifaja song stuck in my head...and just as I was thinking that, my husband started singing "Tongue salt, upper belly, upper loin♪"! I wasn't the only one (laughs). So, we'll be going to Chifaja again soon with our family for some more "all-you-can-eat barbecue at Chifaja♪" (laughs)

We went as a family. The atmosphere was lively with mostly young people having parties, so it may be suitable for families with children if that's okay. However, if not, it may not be ideal for families with children. The restaurant mainly offers all-you-can-eat. The taste was average for an all-you-can-eat place. However, there were some concerns regarding the service. It took a long time for the food we ordered to be served. Towards the end, the dessert we ordered later arrived before the rice we ordered earlier. Additionally, there was a mishap during cleanup where some spilled on my jacket. People make mistakes, so I was okay with it as long as they handled it well. However, there was no offer to cover the dry cleaning cost, which I found disappointing. While I don't believe money is everything, I expected a proper response from the restaurant for any inconvenience caused by their mistake. Due to these reasons, I may sound critical, but that's the feedback I have given.

I went to Chifaja for the first time in several years. When I went, I was a little surprised to see that things had changed. The entrance had a grand door, but the inside was quite ordinary. It seemed like a chain restaurant. The prices are cheap, which is good for students or parents with hungry kids. They put a lot of thought into the various types of meat and sauces, which I appreciated. In the past, I didn't like the sauce options, so I stopped going, but this time they had changed the sauces and I think there were 2-3 options. They even had condiments like doubanjiang for you to customize your dish. The all-you-can-eat and drink option for 90 minutes for 2500 yen is a good deal. However, the disappointing part is that the beer is actually happoshu. It's clearly stated, which is good, but some people don't like happoshu. Since this restaurant is so rooted in Kyoto, I think they should offer real beer as well.

I originally didn't know about Chifaja, as I'm not from Kyoto. When I decided to go for yakiniku with friends I made in Kyoto, they immediately suggested Chifaja. They said it was good value for money, so I went along with them. There were about three all-you-can-eat courses available, with the option to add all-you-can-drink to the middle course. We chose the middle course with the middle drink option. We also ordered kimchi and rice. At first, we were served tongue and loin. There were several types of sauce and condiments, so we could enjoy various flavors. There were also plenty of vegetables and soup, so we could fully enjoy the yakiniku. I would like to introduce this place to locals next time.

【Meeting】 All-you-can-drink, all-you-can-eat, a place visited with friends. The restaurant in Kitano Hakubaicho that continues to emit the smell of yakiniku through the chimney was quite impressive. 【Taste】 At 2700 yen, it was quite cheap. I have my doubts whether we truly enjoyed the taste of the meat, as we were focused on eating and drinking, but back then, it was reasonably good for the price. However, the meat was served quite slowly. 【Atmosphere】 It was filled with nothing but students. 【Price】 All-you-can-eat and drink for 2700 yen is a must-visit spot for gatherings. 【Overall】 But next time, if I want to truly savor the meat, I would like to go to Curry Rice Yakiniku Minamiyama or Koh.

If you want to go all out for yakiniku, Chifaja is the place to go! It's cheap and plentiful, so we would go there without much thought to enjoy yakiniku, beer, and dessert with everyone. There's nothing particularly noteworthy about it. Basically, when students want to eat all-you-can-eat yakiniku, they say, "Let's go to Chifaja for some yakiniku!"
