The first time I entered this restaurant was with a friend, and the second time was with my mother. We ordered two portions of Samgyupsal because that was the minimum order. There were about 5-6 different kinds of Samgyupsal, including wine-marinated ones, but we ended up ordering the regular one because we couldn't decide. The staff cooked it for us, and we were unsure if we had to flip it ourselves at first, but they took care of everything until it was ready to eat. We wrapped the Samgyupsal in vegetables, garlic, sweet miso, white leeks, kimchi, and green chili. It was a bit spicy with the chili, but overall not too hot and very delicious. We also ordered the cheese Bibimbap this time, but I think I prefer the regular stone pot Bibimbap. The seaweed soup was good too. The Japchae was delicious, especially the potato and kimchi one! I recommend it!

We visited because we were craving samgyupsal. There were about 6 types of meat to choose from, but we decided on the recommended thick-cut samgyupsal. The staff grilled it for us along with the namul and kimchi. There were plenty of lettuce leaves and sesame leaves. Wrapping the grilled meat, namul, and kimchi in lettuce, dipping it in miso, and taking a bite was pure bliss. The sweetness of the meat, the crunch of the namul and kimchi - it was a delightful experience. We were satisfied with just that, but we wanted more so we also ordered chapchae and kimbap. Chapchae had two types of noodles, each with a different texture, and lots of delicious vegetables. The kimbap seemed a bit bland, but maybe that's how it's supposed to be? There are other dishes we want to try, so we'll definitely be back.

I had a great dining experience with a good seat, thanks to making an early reservation. The staff were very kind and the meal progressed smoothly. The Samgyupsal was delicious, especially when wrapped in lettuce with various toppings. I was full after enjoying all the side dishes that came with the course. I would like to go back when it gets cooler to try their hot pot dishes. It would have been helpful if water was served in a pitcher...

Visited right in the middle of the Gion Festival. Made a reservation over the phone a little before the day, and visited. We had Cheese Dakgalbi, Seafood Jeon, assorted Namul, and various drinks. You can drink, and it's slightly like an izakaya, but it's okay for kids too. The food was neither good nor bad, just as expected. There are four tables on the second floor, so you can fit groups of 6 people and enjoy Korean food and makgeolli while grilling at the table. It's nice to be able to have a lively time. I will visit again when I feel like eating Korean food!

Nanya Korean Restaurant @ Kyoto City, near Shijo Station - Today, I had a meal with Nami and Kicchan, both members of the Takkamari Club. Nami suggested we try Takkamari, a Korean dish that I love, so we decided to go to "Nanya Korean Restaurant," which is owned by Nami's cousin. The restaurant is located near Shijo Station, close to the intersection of Bukkoji Street and Muromachi Street. We sat on the second floor and checked the menu. Since Takkamari was the main dish, we ordered wine-marinated Samgyeopsal. It came with various side dishes. We grilled the pork belly, garlic, and kimchi, wrapped them in vegetables, and enjoyed them. The Takkamari was delicious, although a bit salty. It would make a great side dish. We ended the meal with Korean udon noodles. The restaurant's address is 234 Kugikakushi-cho, Bukkoji-dori Muromachi Higashi-iru, Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto 600-8423. Phone: 050-5877-4571.

I thought it was a trendy Korean izakaya for young people, but all the dishes were more authentic than I imagined. Thanks to the attentive manager and the experienced young female staff, I was able to enjoy my meal comfortably. I liked the Dakdoritang, Bibim Naengmyeon, and Horumon Sundubu. The atmosphere seems suitable for casual dining, dates, and work gatherings.

Reasonably priced Korean izakaya. I wanted to try various dishes like samgyeopsal, but the portions are large so I ordered octopus kimchi for 480 yen, beef tendon jeon for 980 yen (with green chili peppers), and LA galbi (bone-in galbi) for 1280 yen. It was more delicious than I expected.

We enjoyed our meal while drinking Makgeolli and celebrating the birthday. The dishes were plentiful and delicious, leaving us feeling satisfied. Thank you for the feast!

Once again, I was taken to a gourmet restaurant by my foodie friends. This time it was Korean cuisine. I'm not a fan of ginseng chicken soup, but I love dakhanmari. It was the perfect dish to warm up this winter. And the bossam was so delicious that we ordered it twice. We had a relaxing girls' night out in a room that felt like a private space. All the dishes were affordable and tasty.

I visited the restaurant at 5:30 on a weekday. I made a reservation two days ago. When I entered the restaurant, I found out that there is a two-hour time limit for seating, as it is a popular place. I ordered Samgyeopsal, Kimbap, and a few other side dishes. The Samgyeopsal was very delicious. One of the appealing points is that the staff will cook it for you. The prices were not too high, but not cheap either. Overall, I would like to visit again.

I visited after 6 years! The samgyupsal was delicious! I had budae jjigae, jijimi, bossam, and ate a lot - there are many different Korean dishes, it's fun and tasty! However, the floor of the restaurant was slippery and overall lacked cleanliness, which was disappointing.

One Saturday evening, after having a pre-drink at a nearby shop, I visited this Korean restaurant for the first time. The restaurant was following the "Kyoto Prefecture's New Coronavirus Infection Prevention Guidelines" by implementing measures such as using a large air purifier, installing partitions between tables and at the register, ensuring staff wear masks and hats, keeping customer interactions to a minimum, setting BGM volume low, disinfecting seats and cooking utensils, and providing separate chopsticks and tongs. We started with a toast with draft beer. The signature dish "Samgyupsal" was expertly grilled by the staff. The thickly sliced pork belly was well seasoned and very delicious. The "Yangnyeom Chicken" we shared was a perfect match with beer. I also got to enjoy Makgeolli and Chamisul after a long time. There were various dishes like "Seafood Pancake" and "Stone Pot Bibimbap," but I mainly focused on drinking and barely remember eating. I would love to visit South House Korean Restaurant again when the situation calms down a bit more. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I'm currently addicted to the Ttukbaegi Jjigae here. I came back again. This time, two of us shared one serving, but we couldn't finish it all. However, we still had room for ramen as the finishing touch! Last time, we had udon, but ramen is even more delicious when mixed with the soup.

I used to visit Korea once a month, but now I can't, so I'm really into trying Korean cuisine! This time, I went to eat Takkalmar and Samgyeopsal. Takkalmar is quite grotesque. The chicken is turned upside down with its butt up. You make your own sauce with spicy miso, garlic, and soy sauce and eat it! It's amazing!

I visited this restaurant for the first time to try the Takkalmarri. I had been curious about it for a while, but thought it would be better to go with a large group. I went with my girlfriends for a girls' night out. I hadn't eaten Takkalmarri much before, but it was surprisingly delicious! I'm not sure if it's just this place that's special or if Takkalmarri itself is delicious, but it was really good. Even though I ate a lot, it was less than 3000 yen per person. I was surprised at how affordable it was! I want to come back again.

Today, I went to "Minamiya Korean Restaurant" at the recommendation of a friend. I was in the mood for something spicy, so I looked at the menu and ordered a variety of dishes. The recommended items at this restaurant are Samgyupsal and Takkalmarri. I wanted to try Takkalmarri, but also wanted to try other dishes, so I ordered a half portion of Takkalmarri along with Seafood Pancake, Garlic Fried Chicken, Bone-in Galbi, White Kimchi, and Chisha Greens. Every dish at this restaurant, true to its name as a "dining hall," was outstanding and there were no disappointments. I particularly enjoyed the soup that came with the Takkalmarri. Unfortunately, I was too full to try adding ramen to the leftover soup, but I would like to try that next time. The soup was rich and flavorful, with a hint of chicken umami. I also want to try Sundubu Jjigae and Naengmyeon (cold noodles) next time. The prices at this restaurant were surprisingly affordable, and I was pleasantly surprised at the bill. Overall, I highly recommend trying the Takkalmarri soup at this restaurant.

This is a popular Korean restaurant in Karasuma. I went there because I wanted to eat Tteokguk. The restaurant is clean and has a nice atmosphere. The food was delicious, especially the Tteokguk I was looking forward to. The soup was amazing. The person I went with had eaten somewhere else before, so their expectations were high, but the food was healthy and satisfying. It's a casual Korean dining place that you can visit easily.

Introduced by a friend, I visited South House Korean Restaurant for the first time. The red door is a landmark! As soon as you enter the restaurant, you are greeted by a tantalizing aroma that really stimulates your appetite! Today's main dish was Samgyupsal. After condiments, side dishes, and salad, the pork makes its appearance. Here, the staff will cook the meat for you until the end. It was done with great care. And the taste was absolutely delicious. Not too spicy, more on the side of flavors that are easy for Japanese people to enjoy. We ended up ordering more pork and salad, and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. With the variety of flavors available, I would like to try different tastes next time! I will definitely be coming back!

I had Samgyeopsal and Kimchi Pancake here! The Kimchi Pancake was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside! I've had Kimchi Pancake a few times before, but this one is the most delicious! The sauce is spicy but not too overwhelming, so you can keep eating it! It's so delicious! I will come back for the Kimchi Pancake! For Samgyeopsal, the staff do everything for you. We just eat. For Kimbap, it's delicious. The restroom is unisex with one stall. Inside, there is a Western-style toilet with a washlet and a urinal for men. Hand towels are provided.

Two adults and one teenager each ordered two servings of samgyeopsal and cheese dakgalbi, but were advised that it might be too much and they could add more later if needed. They entered the restaurant at 6:00 PM during the pandemic, and sat at a table on the second floor. Initially, the place was not crowded, but as time passed, it became almost full. The service was attentive and the flavors were good, with prices that matched the quality. Samgyeopsal x2 - Excellent, Korean-style beef tendon stew x2 - Excellent, Japchae x1 - Good, Bulgogi x1 - Excellent, Chorogi salad x1 - Good, Bone-in galbi x1 - Excellent, Sanchu x1 - Good, Kimchi x1 - Okay, Rice x2 - Okay, Mega highball x1, Glass of beer x1.
