I visited this restaurant for the first time after a friend recommended it to me. I was impressed right from the start when I saw them preparing fresh white raw tripe. The fact that it was white indicated excellent preparation, so I had high expectations for their hormone dishes. The raw heart was as good as expected, as were the top salted tongue, top mino, harami, and harami, which I had seconds of before taking a picture. For dessert, I tried their original dish called Stone-grilled Bibimbap Pilaf, which was also delicious. My friend later told me that the misuji (rump) is also great, so I'll definitely try that next time!

Kyoto is truly a place where you can enjoy delicious meat and horumon (offal)! I entered a restaurant without any information, but the way they served the meat was very polite. The senmai (beef intestine) sashimi was beautifully cleaned, with a wonderful texture and delicious taste! I didn't have much time to try more dishes, but I definitely want to visit again to explore more of this restaurant!

After visiting Tonkatsu Shimizu, I went to this recommended souvenir shop. I mentioned that it was my second stop and ordered one side dish and one grilled item each for four different dishes. The dishes I ordered were: Beef Tripe Sashimi, Assorted Namul, Korean-style Raw Liver, Assorted Kimchi, Sliced Beef Steak, and Braised Tongue and Tail. For grilling, I had: Tongue, Chuck Flap, Tenderloin, and Skirt Steak. In conclusion, everything was delicious, but the side dishes were tastier than the grilled items! The Beef Tripe Sashimi was particularly delicious. It was my first time trying such beautiful and white beef tripe sashimi. I would like to try other sashimi dishes as well. The restaurant is a bit hard to get to, so I may not be able to go there often, but it was a great place to eat.

Visited a popular restaurant where many celebrities frequent. I called ahead and was told it was okay to come 30 minutes before. There are 5-6 parking spaces next to the restaurant, which was convenient. It might be easier to park by backing in. Today's order included lean meat, loin and belly assortment, beef short rib, and stew for a total of 7,100 yen. The beef short rib looked different from the usual, with a chewy and juicy texture. The lean meat was tender and delicious. The loin and belly assortment was even juicier with a good amount of marbling. The "washing sauce" typical of Kyoto barbecue was light and tasty. Next time, I want to try the courage to order the tenderloin. The staff, especially the female owner, was kind and attentive. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

One of my favorite yakiniku restaurants in Kyoto's top 5 is "Gyuu Oota". Since my first visit, I always let the master chef decide what to serve. The appetizers at Oota are so filling that I try to go easy on them and save room for the meat. The chef's choice includes a variety of cuts, and he also takes requests, making the experience truly delightful. He keeps serving until you say stop. I forgot to order the tail this time, but it is also delicious. This place is a sure bet for yakiniku, so I highly recommend letting the chef decide what to serve!

It was delicious overall. The steak was especially amazing. The lemon soy sauce tongue was very impressive and a new taste for me. The Shirasenmai beef was also delicious, with the sauce and salt complementing it well. The additional order of the Wagyu was also excellent. The clam red miso soup is a must-try. I will definitely be going back.

I'm going around trying out all the yakiniku restaurants in Kyoto as my goal! Today, I went to a place I've been curious about for a while. I was able to make a reservation right away. There weren't many customers when I went. I think it's okay to make a same-day reservation. We ordered a variety of meats. The tongue was delicious as is without any seasoning! It felt like good meat in its natural state. The other meats with salt were also like that. The harami was also delicious. The sauce was okay, not particularly to my taste. The menu is extensive and there are many rare meats, so I don't think I'll get tired of it. It was a bit more expensive than I thought... but the meat was good.
