I came to try the roast beef. The carefully selected Japanese beef roast beef is 200g for a surprising 2200 yen! It comes with soup, salad, and small dishes. Isn't it too cheap?? The meat has a rich umami flavor with a perfect level of doneness. I added curry roux. It's a chicken white broth curry, but it has a delicious umami and richness! There are not many places where you can eat something of this quality at this price, right?? There are many menu items that caught my eye at night, so I'm thinking of going again next time!

I reserved the 2980 yen Lunch Course B. It included salad, soup, assorted appetizers, roast beef, dessert, and coffee, all in satisfying portions. I ended up feeling quite full, so it might be a good idea to order different courses and share them with someone else. The roast beef, which I heard about on social media, was indeed incredibly delicious. It was tender, juicy, and flavorful, a luxurious treat. The sauce was plentiful, so I enjoyed it until the last bite. The desserts were tiramisu and chocolate cake, both homemade and delicious. Every dish was prepared with care. The restaurant's interior is simple but clean, suitable for a date or a girls' night out. The course allows you to leisurely enjoy a delicious meal, so plan for at least 2 hours. Thank you for the delicious lunch.

Today I decided to treat myself by using my Tabelog points. I opted for the Deluxe Lunch which allows you to try both the daily specials A and B. Today's dishes were croquettes, rolled cabbage, and chicken sauté. They were served generously on a large plate. The chicken sauté had a rich flavor with a warm egg and mapo sauce, while the rolled cabbage was served with mentaiko cream sauce. I love all of these dishes, they were so delicious that I ended up having seconds. This restaurant is quite popular, so sometimes there is a wait, but today the service was quick and I was very happy.

The roast beef at Roji-oku was exquisite! The combination of Kyoto vegetables and roast beef was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed every dish and would love to visit again. There are so many tempting menu items, I would like to try the a la carte menu next time. And of course, I must try the wine that pairs well with roast beef. The Roji-oku course was priced at ¥5,800 and included a variety of dishes such as salad, soup, assorted appetizers, fresh fish, pasta, A5 Wagyu roast beef, and dessert. The drink menu offered options like draft beer, fruit mix sour, and white and red wines. The restaurant is located in Kyoto, near Shijo and Karasuma, and I highly recommend it for a delightful dinner experience.

Located in the back of a building, this restaurant offers a somewhat calm atmosphere. The dishes are served relatively quickly, but once you finish eating, everything is cleared away promptly, so it may not be the best place to linger. The taste is consistent (in my personal opinion). The portions are relatively generous, making it a good spot for a quick and satisfying meal.

A shop known for its roast beef. I ordered the course and was very satisfied with the generous portion. The assorted appetizers had a variety of flavors to enjoy. The rare fried swordfish was almost like sashimi and incredibly delicious! And their famous roast beef. It was surprisingly tender and the meat just melts in your mouth. A must-try! ✨

I visited during the Gion Festival. There was a shop near the Daifune Float. The shop is located in a narrow alley in the back of the eel's bedding, which is typical of Kyoto. The interior is tastefully decorated. It seems that the shop specializes in roast beef, so I ordered the roast beef lunch. The roast beef that came out was voluminous and cut into easy-to-eat pieces. You can choose from three types of sauces. I chose garlic soy sauce, which goes well with rice. The roast beef is made from lean red meat cooked slowly at low temperature. I enjoyed it with Japanese wasabi instead of horseradish. The roast beef was quite delicious. Personally, I think it would be best if it had a little more marbling.

The restaurant was not crowded after 9 pm. The roast beef (100g) was 2,500 yen, salad was 980 yen, draft beer was 600 yen, and red wine was 800 yen. The roast beef was delicious! It was tender and had a rich flavor. The salad was tasty but a bit pricey. Overall, it was a decent meal.

I used a 6000 yen course with all-you-can-drink at a girls' night out. I wanted a private room, but it was more like a semi-private room, and since it was Friday night, the voices around were quite lively. The food was all very delicious, especially the roast beef lived up to its reputation! One slightly disappointing point was that, even though it was a busy Friday night, some of the staff members were not very friendly and just went about their tasks. It's a shame when such a delicious restaurant has this kind of service. Also, I mentioned in the reservation that there was someone who couldn't eat raw fish, but the raw fish carpaccio was served. If you really want to avoid it, I recommend making a phone reservation. This place is perfect for a drinking party with gourmet lovers, but if you want to drink quietly and leisurely, maybe weekdays are better? I would like to use it on a weekday for à la carte next time.

It was a really great restaurant. Each dish was prepared with care. The rare yellowtail cutlet was very delicious, and it went really well with the Japanese sake. I could have eaten three more plates. It's recommended to order the yellowtail early because it takes a little time to come after ordering. I wanted to order the yellowtail again, but unfortunately, it was sold out. I asked for something that would go well with Japanese sake, and they made a delicious pickled mackerel for me! They were able to accommodate my request, and every dish was so delicious that I definitely want to come back again.

You can enjoy a hearty roast beef with generous portions at this restaurant located about a 6-minute walk from Shijo Station. As the name suggests, the restaurant is tucked away in a back alley. The interior is quite spacious, and most people were ordering the roast beef. The lunch set comes with salad, soup, and rice (or bread). It's recommended for those who want to eat a lot of meat but still keep it healthy.

The restaurant is located deep in a back alley as its name suggests. The interior is clean and tidy. The draft beer has a coarse foam rather than a creamy one. We ordered a course meal, but there was no explanation of the dishes from the appetizer to the soup. Some dishes were delicious, but overall, we didn't feel well taken care of. No matter how delicious the food is, if its value is not communicated, the joy of eating is greatly reduced.

Located in a hidden place as the name suggests, this restaurant in Rojioku was full even during lunchtime on weekdays. The atmosphere inside is quite casual and welcoming to everyone. The speed from ordering to serving the dishes was just right. Of course, I tried the most popular roast beef for lunch and it was amazing! The portion was huge and the meat was very tender, making it easy to eat. The sauce was on the rich side, which went well with the rice. The volume of food for the price was really cost-effective. I recommend this lunch for meat lovers and those who want a filling meal!

I went to the bistro Roioku, where I had been wanting to go for a while, and ordered the 5,800 yen course that includes Tanba Hirai beef. The atmosphere was stylish, and the salad was generously topped with cheese. The creamy soup made with new onions was delicious. The appetizer platter was also very tasty. For the fish dish, they served pink amberjack carpaccio, followed by a pasta dish. The highlight was the 100g of Hirai beef roast beef, which had a rich flavor. Finally, we enjoyed dessert and coffee or tea. The drinks were not included in the course price. My son, who was with me, said he could still eat more.

First, I recommend making a reservation and visiting the restaurant! I had lunch there and tried the daily lunch special as well as the famous wagyu roast beef. Everything was so delicious that I will definitely be going back. The restaurant is located deep in an alley, just as its name suggests, so connecting to the restaurant's Wi-Fi ensures a stable signal.

The pasta was also delicious, so I want to try other dishes next time. The atmosphere was really nice, so I definitely want to come back to this wonderful restaurant.

I made a reservation and visited in the evening. The atmosphere was stylish with many young customers as well as families. There were recommended dishes on the signboard, and everything we ordered was delicious. The restaurant quickly became crowded, but the dishes were served at a good pace. There was also a wide variety of drinks available.

I always go to this recommended restaurant by a beautiful stylist who is always my stylist. Even though the chef is the same age as my son... I was skeptical if our tastes would match, but the food was incredibly delicious! The roast beef was so tender, I have never had anything like it before. Despite the young crowd, I have decided to become a regular at this restaurant!

I went for dinner. The place was crowded and the food took a while to come out. The prices were not high, but the recommended roast beef had too much fat for my liking. It was a bit noisy, so I think it might be better to go for lunch alone.

The restaurant is a bit hard to find, but it has a hidden gem atmosphere which is really nice. The specialty oysters were big, juicy, and incredibly delicious. The creamy cod milt gratin was also amazing. The rolled omelette, risotto, and pizza were all tasty and beautifully presented. However, the roast beef I was looking forward to was disappointing as it was fatty. The sauce and condiments were good, but the quality of the meat was lacking. I might skip the roast beef next time I go.

@roji_oku in Kyoto Karasuma is a wonderful hidden gem located deep in a long alley, just as its name suggests. The lunch was incredibly delicious - I had the Wagyu roast beef set for ¥2,200, which came with salad, soup, a side dish, and a choice of bread or rice. It was a satisfying meal that filled me up completely. The roast beef was thick and incredibly tender. It's a must-visit restaurant that you won't believe is only ¥2,200. Location: Kyoto, Shimogyo-ku, Itoyacho 215-1, Brodia Bukkoji 1F. Contact: 050-5457-0489. Opening hours: 11:30-15:00 (last order 14:30), 17:30-24:00 (last order 23:00).
