-Tandoori Chicken Dry Curry (Spiciness Level ★0) (1,530 yen) Visited on Wednesday at 18:50. There were 3 empty seats in the restaurant. Curry arrived at 18:56. There were about 2 empty seats during my visit. The dish arrived colorful and inviting, with a spicy aroma that whetted my appetite. The scent of spices was strong, but the curry wasn't as spicy as Spicy Dry Curry, making it suitable for everyone. The meal consisted of fluffy Japanese rice, tandoori chicken, fresh tomatoes, raw onions, peeled shrimp, thinly sliced pork belly, green peas, mushrooms, and raisins, as well as cucumbers similar to Kyu-chan. The different flavors and textures of the ingredients were enjoyable, with each playing a supporting role. The marinade of the tandoori chicken was exceptionally delicious. Next time, I plan to order the Tandoori Chicken Set with my favorite curry. I feel like having beer with this. Just like Tuesday, I hit the spot on Wednesday as well. (I didn't on Friday.) Now, I have to try Mondays and Thursdays. Once again, I enjoyed my meal. Thank you.

I went for lunch. It was Thursday at exactly 12:00 and there were 10 people waiting in line. I waited for about 20 minutes before entering. I ordered the Deli Curry in a large portion. Even the regular size has a decent amount, so the large portion has a lot of food. The curry sauce is watery like soup curry. It comes with 2-3 pieces of chicken. Although I only had the curry, the lassi that other people were drinking looked very delicious.

I ordered the Indian curry as a special set. The special set came with a draft beer, a mini salad, and a soup called rasam for 2,000 yen. It is much more cost-effective than ordering each item separately. The curry sauce was thin and the ingredients were potatoes and chicken.

I arrived at the restaurant around 3 o'clock and it was quite crowded, but luckily there was one seat available so I didn't have to wait. I ordered the daily special set with Tandoori chicken and lassi (with a small portion of rice). The Kashmir curry was quite spicy but not too overwhelming, and it was delicious. I had to use a handkerchief because it made me sweat a lot. The Tandoori chicken and lassi were also tasty, but it was a bit too much with all of it together. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

As a curry lover, I felt like I had to go to the super famous restaurant, Delhi. I went right when they opened, but as expected, there was a long line. However, I only had to wait about 30 minutes to get in. I like my curry moderately spicy, so I usually can't handle extremely spicy dishes. But since I had waited in line, I decided to try the most popular Kashmiri curry, which is known for being extremely spicy. I was nervous as I waited to try it, as I had read reviews saying it was very spicy. When I finally took a bite, it wasn't as spicy as I had feared. After eating for a while, it did get spicy, but it wasn't so spicy that I couldn't finish it. I have tried Kashmiri curry a few times before, and now I understand that Delhi was where it all started. Even though the taste was what I expected, I appreciated the complex layers of spices in the dish and now I am curious to try other curries they offer. Next time, I want to try the second most popular Korma curry and the Tandoori chicken as well.

I always noticed people lining up but today I came prepared!! It was around 8:00 PM on Saturday and there were only 3 people waiting outside. I usually imagine more people lining up on Friday nights. There were some female customers as well. The curry just needed to be heated up, so it came out quickly! The side of onions and cucumbers was delicious! I want to try making it at home as well. The iced chai tea was also delicious. I ordered the korma curry with less rice. I wonder if there is a connection with Bombay in Kashiwa? When I looked it up, I found out that Bombay also started from Delhi! They are similar in style, but for now, I felt Delhi is tastier. I want to go back again!

Today, I felt like the dish lacked spice, so I ordered an additional set of Tandoori Chicken from Delhi. It looked so delicious that I couldn't resist ordering extra. I haven't had Lassi in a while, and it was really tasty. I ended up gulping it down. The Tandoori Chicken salad was also amazingly delicious. The dressing was so good, it's addictive. I couldn't finish the chicken, so I got it as a takeaway. Next time, I will try a spicy curry.

Arrived at 4:30 pm, a line of 3 groups, seated at the counter 5 minutes later for one person. Ordered Indian curry for 1,080 yen, cash only. The curry appeared plain but tasted flavorful with rich spices. The meat was chicken thigh soaked in curry sauce. The spiciness was intense, could be overwhelming if you eat too quickly. It had a slight Indian curry taste but was delicious enough to overlook any oddness. Would definitely revisit this place.

Just after 9 o'clock at night. I was feeling hungry and couldn't just pass by... Since there was a seat available, I was drawn in, as if by a magnet. I ordered the Tandoori Chicken Set. The curry was always the same, a dark brown Kashmiri. It came with four large pieces of Chicken Tikka, a carefully made salad, and a drink, for 2,000 yen. Still as delicious as ever. I find myself craving it regularly.

I wanted to try the very spicy, crunchy curry at the curry restaurant, but because I am a child, I received a kids' meal instead. It had plenty of onions and just the right amount of mildly spicy curry. It was very delicious. Yum! ⭐️

I had Bengal curry. I have been coming here many times since the old days, but all the curries are excellent. The Bengal curry I had this time was light and I could taste the acidity and umami of the tomatoes. Each ingredient was cooked perfectly, especially the shrimp still had a firm and delicious texture.

Today I had lunch in Kanda Jinbocho. The ramen shop I was aiming for was already sold out at 11:30, so I decided to go for curry instead. When it comes to Kanda, curry is a must, right? I went to a famous curry shop and although there was a line, I checked the number of seats and it looked like I could make it for the first round. Looking at the menu, everything looked delicious but I decided to go for the daily special, Kashmir curry with beef belly. It had a 5-star spiciness rating, so I played it safe and ordered lassi as well. Time to dig in! The beef belly was so tender! It easily cut through with a spoon. The fat was rich and sweet, but then a sudden wave of spiciness hit me. It was really spicy! But it wasn't a bad kind of spiciness, it was a refreshing kind. I was sweating, but I enjoyed it. I finished it in no time and the lassi after the meal was delicious. Thank you for the meal! Note: The Delhi-designed curry bread available only at certain Seven-Eleven stores in Ginza and Ome was surprisingly Delhi-like (laughs)

I was able to get in before the line started to form at the opening of the store! The daily curry specials seemed to be popular, but with a spice level of 5... I got a bit nervous and went for the more standard Delhi curry...It looked like The Indian Curry, but the taste was amazing! It was really delicious! The meat was tender and flavorful. There were big chunks of potatoes in it, which was good but I personally would have preferred them to be smaller. If you want to try delicious Indian curry, this place comes highly recommended!

I ordered Delhi curry with a good aroma of spices. I arrived at around 5:30 pm and entered smoothly. The curry roux had a texture similar to soup curry and was incredibly delicious. I also tried the Korma curry, which had a sweeter taste from the onions and was easier to eat than the Delhi curry. If I come back next time, I would like to try the Korma curry and Kashmir curry.

I found myself drawn to Delhi curry priced at 1080 yen, with an extra charge for large rice and sauce, totaling 1380 yen. I noticed the Delhi name and felt intrigued as it seemed familiar. The curry spoon was unique, resembling a ladle I had never seen before. The curry was served, and the thin consistency suited the ladle-like spoon perfectly. The curry seemed authentic with a long history, originating from Delhi and established in 1956. This simple fact made me happy.

While searching for a lunch spot on the go, I happened to come across a review of Tuesday's beef collar korma. Feeling indecisive about whether to go for Kashmiri cuisine, I arrived at the restaurant and was lucky enough to be seated right away. As I glanced at the menu, I spotted the Tuesday special - beef collar korma! And what do you know, it was Tuesday! It felt like fate! I also ordered a lassi, as I enjoy a little spice but I'm quite sensitive to it. The korma curry came with three generous pieces of beef collar, two large pieces of potatoes, and some finely chopped onions on top of white rice. It looked beautiful! Ahh, it was delicious! The sweet aroma of the beef collar meat and fat, the richness of the korma curry, all mixed with the rice, creating a sense of bliss in my mind. It felt like the god of curry had descended! The pickled onions added a nice touch too. With the lassi, I could immediately soothe the spiciness while still feeling the warmth spread through my body and soul. This is truly a great restaurant! Next time, I'll try the coconut flower distilled liquor. Thank you for the delicious meal! ♥

I ordered the daily premium curry with beef belly kolm curry and the tandoori chicken set with lassi for 2300 yen. The smell of spices in the restaurant made me break a sweat. When the curry arrived, it was delicious right away. It had a unique aroma and taste that I had never experienced before, but it was extremely tasty. The curry was light and filled with tender beef belly, and the soft potatoes added a nice touch. The tandoori chicken was surprisingly light in flavor, with four large pieces of meat that were satisfying. The tangy salad paired well with the curry, and the smooth and tangy lassi in between was irresistible. I was very satisfied. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Just before opening, there were seven people lined up in front of Delhi, located between Ueno Hirokoji and Yushima. Despite feeling a bit hungover and having plans in Ueno afterwards, I decided to give it a try. The aroma emanating while waiting in line was enticing. Even though I knew I should try the Kashmiri dish, I hesitated as it was described as spicy. In the end, I ordered the Indian curry for 1080 yen. The lady next to me changed her order to Kashmiri dish after initially choosing the Indian curry, but still gave the Indian curry 3 stars! Compared to the Kashmiri dishes around, the Indian curry here felt a bit lighter. At first, I just tasted the sauce and thought the spiciness was the right amount. But as I continued eating, I also began to sense some sweetness, making me regret not trying the Kashmiri dish. I also enjoyed the potatoes and chicken. After paying, as I stepped outside, the line had disappeared. It was a satisfying meal!

⭐️Food Log: Curry 100 Restaurants, August 23rd, Saturday, visited around 11 am. The store opened at 11:50 am, but I lined up at around 11:15 am (3rd in line). By opening time, there were about 15 people waiting in the scorching heat.
- Delhi Curry: 1,080 yen. It seemed like the Kashmir Curry was a popular choice, but I'm not a fan of very spicy food so I chose mild spiciness (1 out of 5). The curry was thin with 3 chunks of chicken and 1 piece of potato. It had just the right amount of spiciness. Since it is a historical restaurant, I'm glad I got to visit. I think it's worth trying at least once.

Located a 3-minute walk from exits A3 and A4 of Ueno-hirokoji Station, "Delhi Ueno" is an Indian and Pakistani curry restaurant known for its curry. I visited the restaurant around 1 p.m. on a weekday for the first time in a few years. There was only one seat left inside, so I just managed to get in before a line formed outside the store. I ordered the slightly spicy Delhi curry for 1,080 yen. The table condiments included cucumbers, onions, and kimchi. The curry was served promptly after about a 10-minute wait. The curry was a bit soupy, similar to soup curry, with three large pieces of chicken and half a potato as the main ingredients. I placed the cucumber on top of the rice and then poured the soup-like curry and chicken over it bit by bit, savoring the spices and the mild spiciness that made me break into a sweat. I finished it in no time and left the store. Outside, there were about 10 customers waiting in line for takeout.

After work, I went to Ueno with a colleague to have curry. We decided to try Delhi after looking at various websites and menus. Even on a weekday night, there was a line of 2 people. It's scary during lunchtime or on weekends. The level of spiciness for the Korma curry was 2, which was just right for me. Anything hotter would be for those who really like spicy food. Actually, I wanted to go for the Kashmir curry, but I chickened out. It's risky to go for the spiciest option at a new restaurant. For those who share this mindset, I highly recommend the Korma curry. It has a spicy aroma and the chicken is delicious. The portion of rice is also generous. I'm full. Thanks for the meal.
