Saturday at 12 o'clock. There were no customers when I arrived, which was lucky. I ordered the Dessert Lunch for 1650 yen, which includes pasta of the week, salad, soy milk soup, drink, and dessert. For the pasta of the week, I chose colorful vegetables and bacon with soy sauce flavor. The drink was Sweet Ruby Tea, which is a floral tea with hibiscus. It was refreshing and went well with the dessert. The dessert I chose was the seasonal Spring Strawberry Rare Cheesecake. The pasta was delicious as always, with a good balance of roasted sesame, soy sauce, and pasta. The presentation with cherry tomatoes, yellow bell pepper, asparagus, and bacon was also nice. The Sweet Ruby Tea was served in a teapot and was satisfying on its own. The Strawberry Rare Cheesecake was moist and smooth, topped with mochi for a chewy texture. It was a very delicious cake.

Visited on a Sunday night. There were empty seats available. It was nice to have the option of pasta as Million Yen offers mainly ramen dishes. I tried the seafood pasta in soy sauce broth, which was delicious with the flavors of clams and shrimp infused into the pasta. The cheesecake was also recommended, so I would like to try it on my next visit.

"Kinpira Gobo with Tuna Mayonnaise, Warm Egg on Top for 1,150 yen with a large portion for an additional 250 yen. The noodles are light and flat. The rich tuna mayo sauce coats the noodles well and tastes delicious. The crunchy texture of the burdock adds a nice touch. It's also tasty to scoop up the leftover sauce. The portion size was sufficient."

I went to the school library and on my way back, I met a group of friends and decided to go with them. Honestly, I wasn't very hungry, but the food was so delicious that I finished it quickly. The noodles were chewy and the sauce was tasty, although the portion was small, I felt satisfied. It cost 1200 yen.

I visited the restaurant around 18:20 on the day before a holiday. There were two groups of customers already there. I tried the "Seafood Soy Sauce Flavor" dish for 1140 yen including tax, and the homemade fresh pasta was delicious! The texture was especially amazing when it was served hot. The dish was beautifully presented like a "treasure chest of seafood" as written on the menu. The shrimp, crab, scallops, and salmon roe were all small and cute. I also tried the takeout warabimochi for 520 yen, which is 490 yen if you eat in. It had a wonderful texture and was easy to eat in bite-sized pieces. If the seats at the counter were a bit wider, I might consider coming back more often. When dining alone, you are usually seated at the counter, and if the seats are too narrow and uncomfortable, it can be a bit tough.

I visited a cafe near Demachiyanagi Station for lunch on a weekday, and it was very crowded! They offer a daily pasta set which includes pasta, salad, soy milk soup, drink, and dessert for 1490 yen, which is a great deal! I had carbonara pasta, organic coffee, and homemade warabi mochi for dessert. It was delicious! They update their daily menu on Instagram.

I was hesitant between the 1600 yen Rin-ya set (pasta, dessert, salad, soy milk soup, drink) and worried that I wouldn't be able to finish the large amount of noodles, so this time I opted for the salad set without dessert for 1400 yen to see how it goes. It seems like a good deal for lunch (see photo). There is a wide variety of pasta options and plenty of desserts and drinks, so you won't get bored no matter how many times you come. This time, I chose the mentaiko carbonara and yuzu tea. The pasta here is made with wheat and they make their own fresh pasta in the shop, with a shelf life of only 10 minutes due to the sustained chewiness. The hot pasta was indeed chewy! Rather than having a firm texture, the thick noodles had a chewy mouthfeel. It had a taste similar to mentaiko cream pasta and the sauce clung very well to the noodles. After trying it, I realized that I could probably also have dessert! Next time, I will challenge the Rin-ya set with dessert. The shop is quite spacious but there are hardly any customers, so it's recommended for students after school (maybe due to the influence of COVID-19).

I chose the tomato cream carbonara for lunch. The noodles were perfectly chewy thin noodles with a slightly sweet taste and very delicious, the seasoning was also good, along with the salad and soy milk soup. It seems like this trendy cafe in the student district could become a symbol. I was planning to come back, but at the very end, the staff took away the empty dishes with incredible speed. Perhaps they have a strict policy against lingering... I had only been there for about 30 minutes at that point. Disappointing.

Surprisingly, it was my first time trying pasta at this restaurant. I ordered the Rin-Ya Set, which was a great deal. For 1500 yen, I got pasta, cheesecake, salad, soup, and even white wine. I always thought this place was expensive, so I was hesitant to try it, but the food was actually really good. The cheesecake was a seasonal sweet potato flavor, but it was delicious as a cheesecake!

I visited for a slightly late lunch. I was guided to my favorite seat, but since I was alone, I chose to sit at the counter. It was my first time here, so I planned to order the classic menu, but I was captivated by the summer limited edition Green Curry Pasta and ordered it with the "Rinya Set". I asked for an iced coffee, soy milk soup, and salad to start. The soy milk soup had a gentle and mild taste. The salad was also delicious with bonito flakes and sesame dressing. The pasta arrived next. The curry soup with a moderate spiciness and coconut base was delicious from the first bite. The pasta was chewy, and it was filled with okra, paprika, eggplant, zucchini, shrimp, and plenty of my favorite coriander. I enjoyed it while battling the sweat. For dessert, I chose warabi mochi. It came in a small elegant container with 7 or 8 large pieces of warabi mochi, offering a substantial portion. I savored the refined sweetness and jelly-like texture. The bill was a bit extravagant at 1,750 yen. I was very satisfied because it was delicious, but personally, as I have gotten older and can't eat as much, I felt the dessert portion was a bit too much. I would like to visit again next time to try the classic menu.

In the summer of 2016, a pasta and cheesecake specialty shop called "Rinya" opened at the bustling Hyakumanben intersection. The shop has a simple and modern elegant design with counter and bench seating, as well as stylishly set tables. The daily pasta lunch featured on this day was a spicy chorizo and eggplant pasta in tomato sauce. The pasta, made from durum semolina flour and water, had a unique new texture that was well-aged for a chewy consistency. The creamy cheese and tomato sauce combination was super tasty, and the garlic oil sautéed eggplant added a tempting touch.

I had bookmarked this place when looking for a dessert spot near Tsukemen Man's place. It seemed like a pasta-focused restaurant but also offered a variety of cakes, which caught my interest. Upon arrival around 1:30 pm, the table seats were almost full, with about 30% occupancy at the counter. The menu included a selection of pasta dishes and desserts. I originally planned to try the Warabi Mochi, but my eyes wandered to the cheesecake, so I ended up ordering the Double Cheesecake set. The set, priced at 600 yen, included a small portion of cheesecake with a side of ice cream. The cheesecake had a unique three-layer structure, and the ice cream was a nice surprise addition. The cheesecake had a breadcrumb-like topping, which was interesting. The taste and texture were smooth and moist, with a slight tanginess from the rare cheesecake layer and sweetness from the bottom cheesecake layer. The combination of the two layers created a unique and enjoyable flavor profile. The ice cream, more like a sherbet with a grainy texture, complemented the cheesecake well. It was not overly rich but delicious nonetheless. Overall, the cheesecake was light enough that I could probably finish a whole cake by myself. If they offer takeout, I would like to try both the matcha and original flavors and compare them. In conclusion, Rinya Hyakumanben is a great spot for a dessert treat after a meal in the area. Be sure to check it out for a sweet ending to your dining experience. I had strawberry cheesecake. It was incredibly delicious. The best place ever. The iced milk tea was also delicious. Surprisingly, many places don't make good tea, but this place was tasty. The strawberries were slightly frozen, giving a sherbet-like sensation that was amazing. I also had soy milk carbonara. It was neither good nor bad. If they're going to use soy milk, I'd prefer they use regular milk.

I had the meat sauce carbonara (^O^) The taste and the noodles were delicious! I wasn't expecting much because of the location, but surprisingly, the coffee was really good too. I don't really like places that skimp on coffee, but here they made a proper espresso! I was too full to have dessert this time, so I'll definitely come back next time! ( ^ω^ )
