I found an amazing afternoon tea and went with a friend right away. This strawberry afternoon tea started on February 15th. The price was 2500 yen (tax included) and I had to double-check three times. During this time of year, there are many cute strawberry buffets and afternoon teas being held in various places, but strawberries themselves are expensive, and 90% of them are held in hotel lounges... and usually cost over 5000 yen! And often at inconvenient times like 4 pm when I have to pick up my child... So, I never expected to find a strawberry afternoon tea in this price range! And it even came with three Amaou strawberries! And the time slot was from 1 pm, so I went with a friend who lives nearby. The shop is located on the 1st floor of The Royal Park Hotel, right near Karasuma Station, so it's easy to find! It's a hotel restaurant, but you can enter directly from outside, making it easy to enter, and the interior of the cafe brasserie is cute and has a casual atmosphere. Before entering the shop, they provided alcohol disinfection and temperature checks. Since I had made a reservation, I was smoothly guided to my table. The "Strawberry Afternoon Tea" (top row) included: - Large Amaou strawberries - Raspberry rare cheesecake decorated with Amaou compote - Wild berry jelly with Amaou and blueberries (middle row) - Homemade freshly baked scones with strawberries and white chocolate, served with homemade raspberry jam and clotted cream - Amaou and whipped cream brioche sandwich - Mixed sandwich For drinks, you could choose from a pot of coffee, a pot of tea, or a pot of strawberry-flavored tea. I thought it was one drink included in the price, but they said, "You can have refills, so feel free to ask for more," which was great because it's tough to get through an afternoon tea with just one drink, so I was very happy! This was my first time having an afternoon tea at this price range where you could have refills! The staff even approached me and I ended up having three pots of tea. While the afternoon tea set itself wasn't too large, each item was substantial. It was a luxury to have three large fresh Amaou strawberries included! The scones were warm and large, and the brioche was also filled with plenty of strawberries. The bread was from Shinshindo, so it was reliably delicious. The cost performance and the good service from the staff made me write a review right away. Under normal circumstances, this afternoon tea could easily be fully booked right away. It's an afternoon tea that I would highly recommend to those who live nearby, as they also offer it for one person. I even received a croissant as a gift by filling out a survey. If the timing works out, I would love to go back during the period.
