Visited the restaurant on Saturday at 6 pm. The couple who seemed to be running the place welcomed us. We were the only customers at the time, so we were seated at a table in the back. We ordered some gyoza to start, along with some oden, potato salad, and a few other small dishes. We enjoyed our beers while waiting for the gyoza, which surprisingly had a crispy thin skin. The taste was refreshing with a hint of ginger, and we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious they were. We ended up ordering two more servings. We stayed for about two hours, enjoying a variety of drinks, especially impressed by their extensive shochu selection. It seemed like they had connections with various distilleries like Moriizou and Amakusa Shuzo. We definitely want to come back to this place. One thing that bothered us was that there were no other customers during our visit. Perhaps most people come here as a second stop for drinks (they're open until midnight). The location is a bit hidden, but not too inconvenient if you're coming from Horikawa Street or can walk about 15 minutes from the subway. The chef seemed to be someone who wouldn't interfere unnecessarily, but he still managed to give us a warm smile at the end. Overall, it was a great experience!

Amazing! I went with my family, but it's totally fine to go alone too! The highlight here is definitely the gyoza! The gyoza with big wings attached is just incredible! The accent of garlic chives is very effective and amazing! I also tried the garlic chive tamago and fox natto yaki, both were delicious! The garlic chive tamago has a fluffy egg with a strong garlic chive flavor, a perfect balance! The natto roll was a new experience for me and I feel like I'm addicted to it! This is definitely one of the restaurants I want to visit again!

Tiger Gyoza and infantry may not be as good, but this place is just as good when it comes to delicious gyoza! A friend from Kyoto recommended it to me, and when I stayed at the Karasuma Kyoto Hotel on a business trip, I went there alone for dinner since it's within walking distance. It's nice that they stay open late in a slightly off-the-beaten-path location from the bustling area. Due to the new coronavirus situation, this was my first visit this year. I had delicious gyoza after a long time. I usually go for the gyoza set meal with a very tasty potato salad as my choice. There are various side dishes at reasonable prices, which is nice. On this day, I wasn't satisfied with just one serving, so I ordered another serving of gyoza. The freshly cooked gyoza is so good, right? The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice and easy to use, as it mainly has counter seats, making it easy for even one person to enter.

The dumplings with wings are crispy on the outside and juicy inside, with a classic flavor! Dip them in homemade chili oil, soy sauce, and vinegar for a delightful experience. The restaurant is small with mostly counter seats, and on weekends, gyoza is the main dish for lunch while it turns into an izakaya at night. My companion started drinking beer before the food arrived, saying "Gyoza goes well with beer." Both of us ordered the gyoza set meal (780 yen) which includes gyoza, side dish, soup, and rice. The restaurant is located on the north side of Omiya Takatsuji, heading west. My wife had been curious about the gyoza sold at this place every time we passed by. It turns into an izakaya at night and operates a lunchtime service on weekends. The restaurant only has an L-shaped counter. We decided to try the famous gyoza, as it was prominently displayed on the lanterns. Both of us chose the Gyoza Set Meal this time. It comes with gyoza for two, a small side dish, rice, and soup. The wings of the gyoza were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with a perfect filling. It was incredibly delicious, especially when eaten with rice. This is definitely a perfect match for alcohol, as the neighboring table had beer with their gyoza. The snack menu is extensive and reasonably priced. We would like to visit again at night next time. It was a very satisfying lunchtime with a full and happy stomach.
