This is a fruit parlor located in Gransta Yaesu North, Tokyo Station. They offer sweets, juices, sandwiches, and Western dishes made with seasonal fruits in a convenient location within Tokyo Station. They have a good number of seats and are open from 9:00 in the morning. The place is bustling with customers visiting Tokyo Station throughout the day. The store opened in September 2011 and was founded in Meguro in 1991, currently operating 13 stores. It is located about 1-2 minutes from the Yaesu North exit of Tokyo Station. The entrance is on the corner facing the free passage of Yaesu North Dining Hall on the first floor of Gransta Yaesu North. As you walk towards the back of the Yaesu North Dining Hall, you will find the entrance to the cafe on the left side of the passage. The window on the opposite side of the free passage is for takeout cakes only, and behind it, fruits are sold. I visited the Meguro store in the morning in August 2017. I liked the value and atmosphere of the morning fruit sandwich. When I visited in the afternoon, there were about 3 groups waiting outside the store. After about 8 minutes, I was guided inside. The floor is spacious with a bright atmosphere dominated by white. There are table seats and counter seats. The counter seat I was guided to had power outlets and a good distance between adjacent seats, making it comfortable. The service was polite and pleasant. The menu is extensive and attractive (prices include tax). - Morning (9:00-11:00) (with drink from 770 yen) Toast, fruit sandwich, French toast, pancakes, etc. - Lunch (11:00-14:00) (with drink from 1,320 yen) Hamburgers, curry, pasta, rice plates, fruit sandwiches, pancakes, etc. A la carte menu is available at other times. - Parfait (from 1,100 yen) - Handmade desserts (from 1,070 yen) Cakes, pancakes, fruit yogurt, etc. The cakes are large and packed with fruits. - Fruit salad, sandwiches, etc. - Drinks (from 550 yen) Coffee, tea, herbal tea, etc. Drink bar (+350 yen, 90-minute limit) - Fresh 100% juice (from 880 yen) Ice cream topping (+250 yen), fruit topping (+150 yen) I ordered the following: Limited quantity item. - Mask Melon Float (1,200 yen) A glamorous float with a mask melon decoration. It consists of mask melon decoration/mask melon juice/vanilla ice cream/melon sherbet. Now, let's remove the mask melon decoration and try it! The ratio of vanilla ice cream and melon sherbet is higher compared to the amount of mask melon juice. The vanilla ice cream enhances the taste of the mask melon juice, while the melon sherbet emphasizes the sweetness. Personally, I felt it could do without the melon sherbet. The decorative mask melon was juicy and sweet, allowing me to enjoy the taste of the fruit. Now, let's consider why it is a limited quantity item. Although the amount of mask melon juice in the glass is small, looking at the pricing of the regular mask melon juice (1/3 melon for 1,500 yen), ice cream topping (+250 yen), and fruit topping (+150 yen), it is a good deal. I spent about 20 minutes from seating to leaving. It was a relaxed atmosphere, allowing for a leisurely stay if desired. With a wide range of menu options, this restaurant is convenient for those using Tokyo Station. In terms of crowding, the fruit orchard (**) affiliated with this place may have shorter waiting times. (**Fruit orchard with 13 locations: Meguro, Tokyo, Shibuya Hikarie, Hareza Ikebukuro, Yokohama Landmark Plaza, Ikebukuro Tobu, ecute Tachikawa, Fujisawa, Kichijoji, Futakotamagawa, Hibiya Chante, Shin-Koshigaya, and CIAL Yokohama.)
