I head towards the Yaesu North Dining Hall 1F, located right after the ticket gate at Tokyo Station. Despite the popular demand, I visited at 10 am on a weekday and was seated without having to wait. The bright and cheerful atmosphere inside the restaurant had plenty of seating towards the back. Although the restaurant was about 80% full, the turnover seemed to be good. I noticed a businessman next to me enjoying a morning sandwich set. The morning set came with a drink bar offering coffee and tea. I ordered the D set for 1100 yen, which said it would take some time, but my meal was served within 10 minutes. The dish consisted of French toast laid over a gratin plate, topped with mango, melon, strawberry, pineapple, blueberry, strawberry ice cream, and vanilla ice cream. It also came with store-bought maple syrup. I started with the mango and melon as they were very sweet on their own. Delicious! Then, I indulged in the hot French toast, melted ice cream, and refreshing fruits, creating a perfect combination. Every ingredient complemented each other well. I left the restaurant feeling satisfied and full. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I arrived at Tokyo Station around 3:00 PM and there were about 5 people in line, but I was able to enter the shop in less than 10 minutes. I had been curious about the abundance of canned fruits in recent desserts, so I ordered the "Anmitsu with free drink". The Anmitsu contained apples, pears, strawberries, oranges, watermelon, melon, Shine Muscat grapes, and kiwi, and I was satisfied with it. I felt that the price of 1320 yen was a good deal for this place. Thank you for the meal, and thank you very much.

I usually visit this place in the morning for breakfast. By this time, after the morning rush hour, there are plenty of seats available. I ordered the pancake from the morning menu. The pancake was of much higher quality than I had imagined. The thin pancake was cooked on a griddle, fluffy and firm. It had a subtle sweetness, and it was worth eating the pancake on its own. The real stars of this place are the fruits. One whole banana, half a pear, half an orange, and a generous amount of Shine Muscat grapes. The raspberry added a pop of color and flavor. All the fruits were fresh and delicious. The only downside was that there was a bit too much whipped cream. But for those who love it, it would be irresistible. Thank you for the meal. I would love to visit again.

I came for the morning service starting at 9 am. Even though it was a Sunday, there were about 20 people waiting in line before opening, but it only took about 20 minutes after opening for the fruit sandwiches to be served. The sandwich had mango, strawberry, pineapple, and kiwi, with just the right amount of cream that didn't overpower the fruit flavors. The drink selection was self-serve, which was satisfying. The coffee I had at the end was also delicious, it was from Guatemala.

When it comes to famous fruit shops in Tokyo, names like Ginza Chidoriya and Shinjuku Takano have been well-known since childhood, but recently, Le Verger de Tokyo has been gaining momentum. They currently have 12 stores in Tokyo, Kanagawa, and Saitama, with one located outside the Yaesu North Eatery at Tokyo Station. I met my nieces who were visiting for summer vacation and we decided to explore Tokyo together. We met at Tokyo Station in the afternoon and I quickly bought a fruit sandwich from the Green Car section for our trip back to Chiba later that night. The café had a spacious and bright interior with a natural white and wood theme, perfect for showcasing colorful fruits. The owner personally selects and purchases fruits from the market to ensure freshness and affordability. They focus on serving fruits at their best ripeness, and also make their cakes and fruit sorbets in-house. The menu features fruit-based dishes for breakfast and lunch, with their signature dome-shaped cake filled with fruits being a standout. The fruit sandwich we tried had a light and mildly sweet cream, allowing the natural sweetness of the fruits to shine. While their cakes are on the pricier side, the fruit sandwich was reasonably priced and came with a side of fruit salad. It was a delightful treat with a mix of strawberries, peaches, kiwi, grapes, and pineapple.

My current favorite is exploring different breakfast spots. Today, I visited this shop at Tokyo Station. They also have shops in Ikebukuro and other places, but what attracted me here was the free drinks. It's nice to have a variety of drinks to choose from. I arrived 10 minutes before opening, and there were about 5 or 6 groups ahead of me. The fruit selection was indeed plentiful and delicious. I love fruit sandwiches, and the one I had was just what I wanted. The whipped cream was not too sweet, allowing the fruit flavors to shine. I thought I might try their pancakes next time. Thank you for the meal.

How many years has it been since I stopped working due to mental health issues? When I used to work in Meguro, I frequented the original Fruit Parlor Libel before it moved. They had a variety of delicious dishes. I suddenly felt like revisiting, so I looked it up. To my surprise, the Tokyo Station branch is now listed as one of the top 100 restaurants. There are several branches in Tokyo, but why Tokyo Station? As I was researching to visit the Tokyo branch, I noticed that the prices have definitely gone up! I remember eating parfaits and seasonal items for around 1,000 yen back in Meguro... Well, there seem to be some cheaper options, so I'll give it a try. I invited my mother to join me after we visited an art exhibition in Ueno and we headed to the Yaesu North Exit of Tokyo Station, right inside the Yaesu North Dining Hall. It was around 5 p.m. and there were 3 groups ahead of us in line. The interior of the restaurant is not very spacious, but the tables are placed close together. I wanted to take a picture of the black Fruit Parlor Libel sign hanging from the ceiling outside, but it seemed like this area hasn't been cleaned since opening. It was too dusty, so I gave up. After about 20 minutes, we were seated. The fruit-shaped lights hanging from the ceiling were cute. Despite the crowded tables, it didn't feel too cramped. My mother ordered the Fruit Sandwich for 1,320 yen, and I ordered the Mixed Fruit Shortcake for 1,200 yen. We decided to share. We also ordered the drink bar for an additional 350 yen. The drinks were also quite expensive, so it was a good deal. - Fruit Sandwich: Just the right amount of cream with lots of fruit filling! The amount and taste of the fruit justified the price. This was enough for dinner. - Mixed Fruit Shortcake: Packed with fruit! Thick, juicy fruit pieces! The price was reasonable for the amount of fruit. The large fruit cuts allowed us to fully enjoy the flavors. More fruit than sponge or cream! I wish all the shortcakes were priced like the Mixed Fruit Shortcake... The parfaits are expensive too.

I used takeout. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was mostly women. The portions were generous, and although it's a bit pricey, it's satisfying. Perfect for souvenirs. This time I chose a berry cake, but next time I'll try a different type... There were many options available.

This is a fruit parlor located in Gransta Yaesu North, Tokyo Station. They offer sweets, juices, sandwiches, and Western dishes made with seasonal fruits in a convenient location within Tokyo Station. They have a good number of seats and are open from 9:00 in the morning. The place is bustling with customers visiting Tokyo Station throughout the day. The store opened in September 2011 and was founded in Meguro in 1991, currently operating 13 stores. It is located about 1-2 minutes from the Yaesu North exit of Tokyo Station. The entrance is on the corner facing the free passage of Yaesu North Dining Hall on the first floor of Gransta Yaesu North. As you walk towards the back of the Yaesu North Dining Hall, you will find the entrance to the cafe on the left side of the passage. The window on the opposite side of the free passage is for takeout cakes only, and behind it, fruits are sold. I visited the Meguro store in the morning in August 2017. I liked the value and atmosphere of the morning fruit sandwich. When I visited in the afternoon, there were about 3 groups waiting outside the store. After about 8 minutes, I was guided inside. The floor is spacious with a bright atmosphere dominated by white. There are table seats and counter seats. The counter seat I was guided to had power outlets and a good distance between adjacent seats, making it comfortable. The service was polite and pleasant. The menu is extensive and attractive (prices include tax). - Morning (9:00-11:00) (with drink from 770 yen) Toast, fruit sandwich, French toast, pancakes, etc. - Lunch (11:00-14:00) (with drink from 1,320 yen) Hamburgers, curry, pasta, rice plates, fruit sandwiches, pancakes, etc. A la carte menu is available at other times. - Parfait (from 1,100 yen) - Handmade desserts (from 1,070 yen) Cakes, pancakes, fruit yogurt, etc. The cakes are large and packed with fruits. - Fruit salad, sandwiches, etc. - Drinks (from 550 yen) Coffee, tea, herbal tea, etc. Drink bar (+350 yen, 90-minute limit) - Fresh 100% juice (from 880 yen) Ice cream topping (+250 yen), fruit topping (+150 yen) I ordered the following: Limited quantity item. - Mask Melon Float (1,200 yen) A glamorous float with a mask melon decoration. It consists of mask melon decoration/mask melon juice/vanilla ice cream/melon sherbet. Now, let's remove the mask melon decoration and try it! The ratio of vanilla ice cream and melon sherbet is higher compared to the amount of mask melon juice. The vanilla ice cream enhances the taste of the mask melon juice, while the melon sherbet emphasizes the sweetness. Personally, I felt it could do without the melon sherbet. The decorative mask melon was juicy and sweet, allowing me to enjoy the taste of the fruit. Now, let's consider why it is a limited quantity item. Although the amount of mask melon juice in the glass is small, looking at the pricing of the regular mask melon juice (1/3 melon for 1,500 yen), ice cream topping (+250 yen), and fruit topping (+150 yen), it is a good deal. I spent about 20 minutes from seating to leaving. It was a relaxed atmosphere, allowing for a leisurely stay if desired. With a wide range of menu options, this restaurant is convenient for those using Tokyo Station. In terms of crowding, the fruit orchard (**) affiliated with this place may have shorter waiting times. (**Fruit orchard with 13 locations: Meguro, Tokyo, Shibuya Hikarie, Hareza Ikebukuro, Yokohama Landmark Plaza, Ikebukuro Tobu, ecute Tachikawa, Fujisawa, Kichijoji, Futakotamagawa, Hibiya Chante, Shin-Koshigaya, and CIAL Yokohama.)

Fruit Parlor at Gransta Yaesu Kita Dining in Tokyo Station. It is selected as one of the "Sweets TOKYO Top 100 Stores 2023" on Tabelog. By the way, Frutier Liebel has multiple stores in Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ikebukuro, Meguro, Hibiya, Futakotamagawa, Kichijoji, and Tachikawa in Tokyo. I have visited the Shinjuku and Meguro stores myself. The Tokyo store is open from 11:00 to 22:00, so I had a parfait for dinner. Luckily, they had my favorite fruit, fig parfait (2,500 yen)!! It was a big portion, and I was able to enjoy plenty of figs. Money spent: 2,500 yen Rating: 4 points 5 points: I definitely want to visit again!! 4 points: I would like to revisit if I have the chance! 3 points: It's okay to revisit. 2 points: Once is enough. 1 point: No need to go.

On Saturday morning, I headed to the restaurant after finishing my shiatsu massage. Although the Eatlog website stated that it opens at 11:00, there were already nearly 40 people lining up before 11:00. When I asked the staff, they said that they actually open at 9:00. I gave up on dining in and opted for takeout instead. I ordered a Blueberry Rare Cheesecake (1250 yen) and a Two-Color Grape Zuccotto (2200 yen). I gave the blueberry cheesecake to my husband, who had strained his eyes from driving during our trip. I enjoyed the grape zuccotto, which was much larger than I expected. My husband was surprised by its size. It was almost twice the size of a regular cake. I cut mine in half and brought it to my mother-in-law. Both the blueberry and grape desserts had a minimal amount of cream, with an abundance of fruit. The grape zuccotto was filled entirely with Shine Muscat grapes. It was definitely worth the price.

Arrived at 4:00 PM on Saturday. There are about 40 people lined up. Well, I'll wait. After waiting for 50 minutes, entered the store. The location is near the north exit of JR Tokyo Station, after exiting the ticket gate, turn left and go around. Today's peaches are said to be firm. It was written, and I hesitated a bit when I saw the price, but I came for the peaches. Peach Parfait (3000 yen) arrived, emitting a sweet aroma. The size is quite impressive, attracting the attention of other customers. It was said to be firm, but it was actually firm and had a good texture. No matter how wide I opened my mouth, it wouldn't fit (laughs). Wild and irresistible ♡ Compared to the best season, the juiciness and sweetness are about 80%. Hmm ♡ But it's delicious (๑´ڡ`๑) The ice cream inside has a rich and intense vanilla aroma, which goes well with the thick peach. Eating a mouthful of peach is truly happiness. I think this vanilla ice cream is really delicious when I come back. The faint acidity of the peach makes it a little poignant, perfect for the end of summer! Sandwiched with whipped cream, underneath are small pieces of peach, which are also larger in size compared to other stores. This year's last peach parfait. Let's meet again next year.

Inside Tokyo Station's Gransta, there is a shop called Yae Kita Shokudo. The eat-in parfaits are very popular and there is always a long line. I went on a weekend right after they opened, and there was unexpectedly a 15-person wait, so I opted for takeout instead. I got the Chocolate Ichigo Zukotto for 1840 yen. Even for takeout, the high-end cakes on display cost close to 2000 yen. Zukotto refers to a confection where cream is stuffed inside a half-sphere sponge cake. While the image of Zukotto typically includes semifreddo, this one only had cream. It was filled with plenty of strawberries and was enough to make me feel full. The sponge and cream were quite ordinary. If I have the chance, I would like to try their parfaits for eat-in.

I always used to be put off by the long lines at this particular restaurant, but after having a surprisingly delicious experience at their Shibuya location recently, I decided to try my luck at this branch with a shorter line. Upon being seated, I noticed that many of the women around me were enjoying the "Peach Parfait" which looked tempting, but I decided to go for the "Mitsumame" instead. It had a nice touch of saltiness from the edamame beans, and the addition of red beans and soft serve ice cream made it a satisfying and filling choice. As for drinks, the menu only listed full bottles of wine, so I opted for a Kirin craft beer called "Spring Valley Jazzberry" which had a striking red color. The taste was okay, but the vibrant color made it a visually appealing choice. Overall, the Mitsumame at this restaurant felt like a "fruit treasure box" and I enjoyed the unique experience.

I visited the popular fruit parlor "Kajitsu Le Verger" at Tokyo Station Gransta. I used to go to the Shinjuku branch often for morning meals. While their pancakes and parfaits are popular, I personally love their fruit-filled shortcake. It may be a bit pricey for someone like me, but it's the perfect treat for myself! I tried the Strawberry and Shine Muscat scone, which was delicious as always. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal!

Fruit orchard Liebel is expanding its stores, it seems. I don't often stop by Tokyo Station, so I didn't know it was here! There are many other shops around, it's amazing how much there is at Tokyo Station. I lined up here and was seated fairly quickly. But, it seems like it takes a while to make each dish. I ordered the "Mitsumame," which had several types of fruits, all beautifully cut. And each fruit was juicy and sweet! The grapes and pears were especially delicious. Oh, and the melon and mango were perfectly ripe too! At the bottom of the glass, there was agar jelly and sweet red bean paste, with a large scoop of vanilla ice cream and plenty of ripe fruits. It felt like a great deal. I also added the drink bar (350 yen). I thought it would be tough if people lingered at this popular spot with the drink bar, but there was a 90-minute time limit. I first had a fruit sandwich at Liebel in Meguro over 10 years ago, and I'm impressed by how much they have evolved.

Fruit Orchard Liebel Tokyo Store in Tokyo Station has been renovated and this is my first visit after the renewal. This store has been selected as one of the Top 100 Sweets Stores for 2023. Sometimes when passing by the store, there is usually a long line and it's almost always full, but on this day, I arrived at 9:30 am on a weekday and noticed that half of the indoor seats were empty. There was a wait for 2 people in front of the store, but we were quickly seated inside. I ordered the Morning Set B with a drink for 1100 yen. The drink options were coffee, black tea, cafe latte, and herbal tea (hot or iced), all self-service. I made an iced latte after ordering and when I returned to my seat, the Morning Set B was served. The B set included 6 pieces of fruit sandwich, a vegetable salad, and fruits (mini banana, melon, pink grapefruit). The fruit in the sandwich included strawberry, kiwi, peach, and mango. The mango was rich and the peach was slightly firm, reminiscent of Fukushima's Akatsuki peach. The acidity of the strawberry and kiwi paired well with the cream. It was a filling and affordable fruit sandwich set for 1100 yen. It was a delicious morning meal. Thank you. *The morning set menu is available until 11:00 am.

It's Sunday morning now. The sun is shining brightly... But I need to go shopping for vegetables and coffee. I'm lacking in vegetables. I need to eat vegetables... However, the sun is already scorching... Oh, it's tough... I went on a summer trip to Fukushima, which I love, on Friday and Saturday and returned home late last night. During the trip, I indulged in carbohydrates and sweets... Now that I'm back, I feel bloated and sluggish due to consuming too much salt. My husband feels the same way. Now, before going shopping and writing a review of the trip, I met up with a friend after work on a weekday. I was exhausted and craving something sweet from head to toe... "I want something sweet!" My body was screaming. I need to gain weight to increase my abnormally low body fat, but I also need to consider protein and nutrients... We met at Tokyo Station in front of La Belle. The restaurant was full but surprisingly no line outside. We waited for a while and then went inside. The peach parfait was around 4000 yen or more. My friend ordered a meal (risotto) and a fruit parfait because he wanted to eat something savory as well. I ordered a fruit sandwich. I couldn't quite understand La Belle's pricing. Well, the seasonal fruit parfait made with fruits that farmers put so much effort into is incredibly expensive (which is understandable!). On the other hand, the fruit sandwich or fruit pancake made with non-seasonal fruits is very affordable considering the volume. The fruit sandwich was around 1400 yen and had the volume of three triangle sandwiches sold at convenience stores. And it was delicious! If I were to be picky, I would like to have custard cream in addition to whipped cream. Sorry for the selfish opinion. Also, with triangle sandwiches, the corners are often lacking in cream or fillings, but La Belle's fruit sandwich was filled from end to end! I finished it, but it might be too much for an average woman... The fruit sandwich had some sour strawberries that were not in season, but overall it was delicious, and as I mentioned before, the volume was incredible! However, after that, I also had soft serve ice cream from Koiwai Farm at Tokyo Station, so La Belle's volume was indeed substantial! I always finish what is served to me (although there are rare occasions when I can't finish it), but many people around me left some food uneaten. The bottom of the peach parfait or the uneaten parts of the fruit sandwich... I think for a new restaurant, people may have a hard time understanding the portion size or find it difficult to finish the food. But it's a bit tough... It must be tough for both the customers and the restaurant staff (although it's often not possible to take out fresh sweets or ice cream). Maybe both sides need to come up with some ideas. "It's a large portion!" or allow customers to take home what they can't finish. But in summer, there may be risks of food poisoning... It may be difficult. With rice dishes, you can ask for a smaller portion, but with parfaits, it may be challenging due to their composition. Hmm... Hmm...

I want to try out different new restaurants, but whenever we decide to meet up around here, we end up going to "Liebel" because it gets crowded and there's a wait. Also, the food at Liebel is delicious. By the way, have the prices for the parfaits gone up? The recommended options for the day were: Peach for 3000 yen (apparently today's peaches are hard), Fig and Berry for 2500 yen (I don't like berries), Shine Muscat for 5000 yen (a bit too expensive), Luxurious Assortment for 8500 yen (what!?). You have to order at least one dish per person here, but can we share the 8500 yen parfait between two people? I'm curious to try it, but I don't have the courage to pay 8500 yen alone. I decided to go with Seafood Risotto and Fruit Parfait. My companion only had the Fruit Sandwich. It seemed like the cakes were almost sold out that day, with a shortage of them. I wanted to share a savory dish and then each have a parfait, but it didn't seem possible. I ended up feeling so full that I thought I might get sick. The risotto was delicious with large mussels providing a satisfying meal. I didn't touch the salad, but I did eat the melon and banana. Then came the fruit parfait. I have ordered this a few times before, and it's always fun with a variety of fruits. However, I decided to remove the citrus fruits and stick to watermelon, pineapple, and pear to avoid overeating. The inside was filled with vanilla ice cream and melon sherbet, which made me feel overly full. The combination was strangely delicious, leading to an uncomfortable stomach. But when your favorite food is placed in front of you, you can't help but eat it. Liebel sometimes has fruits that are not of good quality, but overall, it is filled with delicious and classic flavors. The parfaits are simple with just ice cream, whipped cream, and fruits, but that simplicity is what makes them great. I think it's good the way it is, and as a fruit lover, I appreciate it.

Upon exiting the JR Tokyo Station "Yaesu North Exit", there is a shop located to the immediate left of "Yaesu Kita Shokudo". On this day, I was on a rare business trip to Yokohama. Perhaps influenced by the beer tasting event that followed, or maybe it was just too hot, I didn't feel like having a regular dinner. So, I decided to have something cool and sweet here before heading back. I arrived around 6:30 pm on a weekday, just a few minutes before. I usually avoided visiting because of the long lines, but even on this day, there were 8 people waiting in front of the shop. I joined the end of the line and waited for about 15 minutes before entering the shop. Surprisingly, the turnover of customers seemed to be good! As a first-time visitor, I resisted various temptations and ordered the "Fruit Parfait" for the day. It was the only menu item with the statement "Maintaining this shape for 52 years. Now and forever." The parfait arrived in less than 15 minutes, with a visual of fruits sticking out all over. The variety was impressive, but the price was only 1,580 yen, which seemed significantly cheaper compared to other items. At that point, I finally thought, "Did I make a mistake?" I started eating the fruits from the top down. First was the watermelon, a fruit I'm not particularly fond of. However, this watermelon was a bit... the size was there, but the sweetness was lacking. The kiwi and pineapple that followed had a bit too much acidity, while the banana was just average in taste, the papaya was hard and lacked sweetness. The strawberries, blueberries, and grapefruit were sour, and the apples, pears, and melons lacked juiciness. The ice cream included vanilla, strawberry, and melon flavors. The strawberry had fruit pulp but was overly sweet, and the whipped cream on top was hardened and honestly not tasty. The bottom layer was a banana base, which was the only part that tasted good. I had a feeling that I fell into the trap of the price... Despite the convenience of being located near the Tokyo Station gates and the availability of outlets at each table, there are elements of a popular shop scattered throughout. However, based on the price comparison, I believe the other menu items besides what I had must be delicious. But for a product that claims to have maintained its shape for 52 years, it might be worth using higher-quality fruits... I couldn't help but feel dissatisfied, especially after having the "Pudding a la Mode" from a popular coffee shop in Kamata, which was a hidden menu item and had a better value. It's a bit puzzling for me to visit a famous shop like this. Thank you for the meal.

Honestly, I can't believe that Fruits Orchard Liebel has entered the top 100 shops. I was shocked. Tokyo Station was crowded again on this day. I ordered the Strawberry Parfait. The serving time was so slow that I thought they had forgotten about it, but it seems that the time was spent on cutting and arranging. The strawberries were ripe and had a strong flavor. I had a parfait at a family restaurant recently and even though I felt a bit disappointed, I feel that the price here is lower and the quality of the fruits and toppings is higher.
