Visited on a Sunday morning. I thought they opened at 8:00, so I arrived at 7:30 all pumped up, only to find out they actually open at 9:00, which was a shock. Killed time by taking a walk in Yoyogi Park and came back 30 minutes before opening. I was the first customer. I ordered the Chicken, Keema, and Pork Vindaloo (with egg yolk topping) with a side of potato salad. I chose the medium portion of rice (300g). The dishes were served quite quickly. The visual impact of the portion size was impressive. The plates were heavy, giving a sense of weight. In terms of appearance, it surpasses the stamina curry at some other places. When it comes to Pork Vindaloo, I usually expect a tangy flavor, but this one had a mild tanginess and a rich pork flavor. The pork belly meat used in this dish adds to the richness. It was delicious. This curry is also easy for curry beginners to enjoy. On the other hand, the Chicken curry was a spicy type with a strong spice flavor. It's great to alternate between the Pork Vindaloo and Chicken curry. The Chicken pieces were large chicken breasts, about 4 pieces. They were also delicious. The Keema was tasty as well. However, as the appearance suggests, when you try to eat the rice separately, it tends to mix with one of the curries. I regret not savoring the Keema on its own a bit more. The potato salad was spiced up. It was tasty on its own, but even better when eaten with the curry instead of rice. The sides included onion achaar, chickpeas, and something on a hot plate. The total came to 1700 yen. It was worth the price for the satisfaction it provided. Taking a walk in Yoyogi Park in the morning at this time of year before coming to eat, with a slightly empty stomach and a body warmed up, makes for the perfect meal. Thank you for the feast.

A spice curry restaurant near Yoyogi-Hachiman Station. I decided to try it for breakfast since they open early in the morning. - Crowd: On a holiday at a little past 9 am, there were 3 people in line and maybe 1 more after that. I got seated in 15 minutes. By the time I left, there were a few more people waiting. - Customers: Mostly male customers, with a few females including regular customers. - Atmosphere: The restaurant mainly has counter seating, which is a bit narrow and dimly lit. There are also tables in the back. The proximity to the staff gives a cozy feel. - Staff: The staff members were all very polite and courteous. - Menu: They offer Chicken Curry, Keema Curry, and Pork Vindaloo, which can be combined with toppings. There is no specific drink menu. - Price: I ordered Chicken & Keema & Pork Vindaloo (with egg yolk) for 1,700 yen. - Service: You can choose the amount of rice - small (150g), regular (200g), medium (300g), or large (400g) for the same price. I chose small and got extra Chicken Curry as a bonus. Great service! - Serving time: Around 2 minutes. Review: - Chicken Curry: It had a soupy curry texture like soup curry, with a good balance of saltiness, umami, and a nice spice level. The chicken was incredibly tender and juicy. - Keema Curry: A mellow spiciness with chunks of minced meat that were delicious. - Pork Vindaloo: A mellow yet tangy flavor with a hint of coconut maybe? The juicy pork was also delicious. The side of coriander, chickpeas, and onion achar complemented the dish well. Overall, the curries were all incredibly delicious and enjoyable to eat. They were quite filling, especially with the generous portions, so my stomach was full even in the morning. The regular amount of rice might have been a better choice for me. Highly recommended!

Trustworthy reviewers have been coming one after another, giving high ratings. I was feeling hesitant because it seemed far away, but it turned out to be just 2 stations away from where I currently am. Once I realized that, I immediately decided to go there ( ´▽`)ノ The exterior of the place is a bit questionable as it's a shared location, but as soon as you step inside, you're greeted by a pleasant aroma of spices. I truly felt that curry is a food of fragrance (ꈍᴗꈍ)ウットリ I followed the advice to be mindful of the portion size and ordered the "Chicken & Keema & Pork Vindaloo (with egg yolk)" for 1,600 yen with a smaller portion of 150g rice. I resisted the temptation to also get the "Potato Salad" this time. When the curry arrived, I first noticed how big the plates were! The chicken curry was served separately, and as I was told, even though the rice portion was small, the curry portion remained the same. As a curry sauce lover, I was delighted by this \(^o^)/ First, I tried each curry. The "Pork Vindaloo" caught my eye with its chunk of pork! It was tender and cooked in a flavorful way. Despite its impressive appearance, it had a mild overall taste. The "Chicken" was more watery, just as expected from this type of dish. It had chunks of meat that provided a satisfying texture. If you're someone who prefers more meat in your curry, I highly recommend this one♪ It was spicy and the lotus root added an interesting touch. The "Keema" had a noticeable meaty texture! It had a strong flavor, but the egg added a creamy element. The coriander and onion pickle complemented it well, and I basically added everything on top (laughs) Mixing two or three types of curry created different flavors to enjoy, making the curry experience truly delightfulヽ(*゚▽゚*)ノ I felt extremely satisfied after the meal (ˊᵕˋ)ノ Food was selling out quickly, and it was no surprise that there were long lines. I would definitely visit again when craving meat. Thank you for the delicious meal m(_ _)m ===========

I finally visited this place that I've been wanting to go to for a long time, and I was able to go on a weekday at 11 am. It's located in front of Yoyogi-Hachiman Station, and it seems they are subleasing the space. The opening time on weekdays has been changed to 10:30 am. It used to be open early in the morning, right? There was one person ahead of me in line, and then more people lined up after that. I waited for about 10 minutes before being called. You pay in advance, and you serve yourself water. I ordered the Chicken Curry & Pork Vindaloo (1550 yen). You can choose the size of the rice from small to extra large. I chose the medium size (200 grams). It was served after a short wait. The portion size was overwhelming. There were two colors of curry on either side of the rice. The rice was accompanied by onion achar, chickpeas, and coriander. The chicken was large pieces of breast meat in a curry with lotus root. It was quite spicy. The vindaloo had generous portions of pork and was richer than other vindaloos I've had before. I regretted not getting a smaller portion of rice halfway through. But with the generous amount of curry, even the medium size of rice wasn't enough. I felt like my stomach was going to burst after finishing the meal. I had planned to explore nearby dessert places, but I was too full. I went home satisfied. It was a curry that left me completely satisfied.

On weekdays, they open at 10:30, so I came after work. The restaurant is run by two people, and the female staff greeted me cheerfully, which made the wait worthwhile. I tried three dishes: Chicken Keema, Pork Vindaloo, and another one. It was a bit different from what I expected, as I have been eating a lot of spicy curries lately. It might be good for those who eat a lot or like fatty meat, or prefer standard curry. There were already many customers shortly after opening. It's all a matter of personal preference! Thank you for the meal.

Visited on the weekend. There was a line of about 10 people. This popular curry shop has a Foodlog rating of 3.8 or higher. I finally got a chance to visit after being curious for a while. This time, I ordered the "Chicken & Keema & Pork Vindaloo (with egg yolk) *Rice 200g". I ordered the regular portion, but it was quite voluminous. Women may prefer less rice. The curry is rich in spices and has a variety of flavors and aromas. Each of the three types has a different character, but all are delicious at a high level. The spiciness and acidity are excellent. Overall, there is a lot of meat. The pork was big, juicy, and quite to my liking. It was a very delicious curry that makes you understand why it's so popular. I wonder why it hasn't been selected as one of the top 100 curry shops. Highly recommended.

On a cloudy Sunday in August, not too hot, I arrived around 9:40 AM. There were about 4 groups of customers ahead of me, but there were still empty seats. Soon after, the restaurant became full, with some customers waiting outside. I ordered the Chicken & Keema & Pork Vindaloo Curry (with egg yolk) for 1700 yen (tax included). You can choose the amount of rice from small (150g) to large (400g), and I chose medium (300g). Payment is made in advance when ordering. The food was served in 2-3 minutes in sturdy dishes with generous portions. My favorite was the Pork Vindaloo. The curry was thick and rich in sweetness and umami, with a strong coconut flavor. The Keema Curry had a unique texture and was quite flavorful, maybe it was made with lamb. The Chicken Curry was more watery with a refreshing spiciness and a hint of vegetable sweetness. Mixing the Keema with the Chicken curry enhanced the richness of the flavors. I ended up feeling extremely full, but satisfied with the meal.

On Sunday, August 27, 2023, at 11:06, it was cloudy and there were about 10 people waiting in line. I entered the restaurant around 11:30. I wanted to try various flavors, so I ordered a 3-kind platter of chicken, keema, and pork vindaloo with a side of egg yolk. The portion was really large and delicious, but with the 3-kind platter, it felt like it could serve about 1.5 people. The person next to me had extra rice and asked for a refill of curry soup, so I felt that those who can eat a lot would be more satisfied at this restaurant.

First time at this restaurant! I ordered the Chicken, Keema, and Pork Vindaloo, with an additional 200g of rice and extra Chicken. As a woman who eats a lot, I think 150g of rice would be enough. You don't need to add extra Chicken, as each dish is quite large and satisfying on its own. I finished everything but now I'm so full! Each curry has its own unique flavor and I didn't get tired of any of them. The Pork in the Vindaloo was tender and flavorful, my favorite! The Keema in the middle was my second favorite. I definitely want to come back again!

After visiting the dermatologist, I was drawn to Spice Post like a magnet. With the Koshien final in mind, I had to fuel up with some delicious food here! I ordered the Chicken Keema with less rice, even though it seems they raised the price by 100 yen. I don't mind that at all. In the end, I prefer having less rice and getting soup refills the most. Thank you for the meal! Let's give power to Keio University!!

Yoyogi Park is a place that is easily accessible by just one train ride. Upon exiting the station and stepping outside, you will find this restaurant right in front of you. I had been curious about it for a while but never had the chance to visit until today. Since I was dining alone, I decided to give it a try. I ordered the 3-item rice plate with a small portion. It took about 5 minutes for it to be served, and when it arrived, I was surprised by the amount – it was too much for me to finish. Just a heads up, even the small portion of the 3-item plate is quite generous for women. The curry has a good amount of spice but it's not overpowering, making it easy to eat. Personally, I prefer a stronger spice flavor, so it was just okay for me. But for those who want a hearty meal, this place is recommended. The chicken curry is on the lighter side, while the pork and bindalu are more rich and thick. The nuts sprinkled on top add a nice touch, and the onions are a refreshing break between bites. I wouldn't specifically come to Yoyogi just for this curry, but if I happen to be in the area and feeling hungry, I would consider stopping by (laughs).

"Spice Post" is located right in front of Yoyogi Park 1st exit and is listed in the top 1000 on Tabelog. I had the Chicken & Keema & Pork Vindaloo with egg yolk for 1600 yen. It's a unique curry restaurant that operates on a pre-payment and self-service drink system, opening from 9:00 am on weekends and 10:00 am on weekdays. I opted for a medium portion, and the curry was served in a large bowl overflowing with sauce. The ingredients included chickpeas, lotus root, coriander, and large pieces of chicken, with an egg yolk in the middle. The curry had just the right amount of spice, especially the Pork Vindaloo which had a perfect balance of acidity and rich sauce without being too sour. The chicken curry had mustard seeds and fenugreek for added flavor, and the smooth sauce was very tasty. Mixing the three different curries together creates a unique and addictive flavor that you can enjoy until the last bite. It's a must-visit place as they serve until they run out, so it's better to come early. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. #SpicePost #YoyogiGourmet #YoyogiLunch #TokyoCurry #DeliciousCurry #YoyogiParkGourmet #FoodiesConnect #Foodstagram #GourmetTravel #FoodReport #FoodWriter #BClassGourmetInformation

I went out for breakfast and visited Spice Post. They open at 9 am on weekends and holidays. I arrived 10 minutes early but there were about 10 people ahead of me in line. I couldn't get in on the first round. The menu looked enticing as I waited. The restaurant has 6 counter seats and 1 table, but the turnover is quick, so I was able to get in after about 15 minutes. A fragrant curry was served, and it not only looked good but also tasted amazing. The topping of coriander was a great choice! I definitely want to visit again, even though it's far away.

I visited "Spice Post" located in Yoyogi Park. It is located right near Yoyogi Park Station on the Chiyoda Line, just a short walk from exit 1. On a Saturday afternoon around 1 pm, we waited in line with 8 people for about 20 minutes before entering the restaurant. Here's what we had today! "Chicken & Keema (with egg yolk)" ¥1300. I originally wanted the 3-item platter, but they were sold out of Pork Vindaloo, so we ended up with the Chicken & Keema 2-item platter. The amount of rice was a pleasant surprise, as we were able to get a medium serving of 300g for the same price! And if you need more rice, you can get extra servings! The dish was served in a deep bowl with plenty of rice and curry, topped with Keema curry, egg yolk, chickpeas, onion achar, and cilantro in the center. It was a hearty portion. "Chicken Curry" The thin curry had a good balance of spices without being too spicy, with a strong umami flavor reminiscent of soup curry. The texture of the root vegetables and the large pieces of chicken were tender and satisfying. Despite the generous amount of curry, its thin consistency made it easy to eat, with the umami flavor lingering. It was delicious! "Keema Curry" This was a mix of beef, pork, and mutton in the Keema curry. The blend of the three meats added depth and richness to the dish, especially when paired with cilantro and achar. It had a slightly stronger spiciness compared to the chicken curry, but the egg yolk provided a mild contrast. The balance of meaty flavor and spices made it a delicious Keema curry. The staff at the restaurant were extremely kind and friendly. They open early in the morning and often sell out quickly, making it a popular spot with long lines. Personally, I think it's a top-notch restaurant that deserves more recognition, as it serves delicious spice curry. It was a great meal. Thank you very much.

I happened to come to Yoyogi-Hachiman for work and decided to have lunch there. The interior of the restaurant was not very well air-conditioned, so it felt hot, which was a bit disappointing. The curry was like soup curry with a thin, slightly spicy sauce. I had the chicken curry, which came with four large pieces of chicken and was very filling. I went alone, but it was delicious, so I want to go again with friends next time.

Spice Post is a famous curry restaurant located in front of Yoyogi Park Station. When you visit for lunch, you can choose the Chicken & Keema & Pork Vindaloo with egg yolk for 1600 yen, which comes in a regular portion of 200g. You can also upgrade to a medium or large portion. The large portion of 400g is recommended for big eaters, especially men. This curry can be enjoyed by mixing the egg yolk to create a mellow flavor. The chicken is also large and juicy, giving a sensation of melting in your mouth. The restaurant is always busy, with a constant stream of take-out customers. Spice Post is a popular spot that offers deliciousness, volume, and good service, making it a must-visit for curry lovers. When you are near Yoyogi Park, be sure to stop by. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely come back!

I finally had the chance to visit a curry restaurant that has been highly rated on Tabelog's TOP1000 and has received great reviews. Spice Post is a place I've been wanting to go to for a while. As soon as you leave Yoyogi Park station, you'll see the curry sign. It may not be the most stylish sign, but it's definitely easy to spot. Around 11:30 am, I was able to sit at the counter without waiting. The counter has 6 seats and the interior is not very big, but there is enough space between tables, so you can sit comfortably. I ordered the Chicken & Keema & Pork Danville (with egg yolk) medium size 300g for 1,600 yen, which is the top item on the menu. The amount of rice can be chosen from small 150g, regular 200g, medium 300g, and large 400g, all at the same price. I chose the medium size, which turned out to be just right. The variety of sauces and ingredients is rich and voluminous. If you feel like you need more rice halfway through, you can add more later. The ordering is done verbally and you pay in advance. The food was served in less than 10 minutes. The three sauces are arranged with Chicken and Pork Danville on both sides and Keema in the center. It looks very beautiful on a large plate. The Chicken Curry has a mild sauce with vegetables like lotus root and large chunks of chicken. The spicy sauce is delicious, but the highlight is the variety of ingredients. The Keema Curry has a perfect blend of minced meat and Keema in a rich curry. The Pork Danville has a rich sauce with large chunks of pork that are soft and tender. The spices are elegant, making it the king of curries. Each dish is meticulously prepared. Towards the end, the flavors blend together, creating a more complex taste. The egg yolk and cilantro are optional garnishes, with the egg yolk being a must-try. Cilantro is a matter of personal preference, but I didn't like it. Overall, it was a top-class curry experience. I recommend visiting during daylight as the dishes may sell out. While I was there, several locals ordered takeout, so it's quite popular and first-come, first-served. I had always been curious about the shop with a person always lined up in front of it. I ordered the Pork Vindaloo and after a few minutes of waiting, I was face to face with the curry and soup set. The curry had a strong spice flavor with big and tender chunks of pork. Paired with the chicken curry soup, my stomach was quite satisfied.

The feature of this place is that it opens at 9 am. I arrived on a Sunday just after 10 am. There was only one couple waiting in front of me, so I was relieved that I wouldn't have to wait long. In the end, I was seated at the counter within 10 minutes. I ordered three types of curry with regular rice. I've tried spice curry at many places, including Osaka, but this place had the best taste I've had in Tokyo so far. Each of the three curries had its own unique flavor, and the chicken and pork were well-cooked, with the cilantro enhancing the taste even more. You pay in cash when you order, and you also serve yourself water. The service is basic, but there were no issues. I ordered quickly, ate quickly, and left quickly. The portions were generous, so I left feeling very satisfied with both the taste and the amount of food.

The night before, I had sushi, but the next day I was in the mood for curry. Sushi is satisfying, but it tends to leave me hungry the next day. So, I went for Chicken Keema this time. I started with the chicken soup, which was delicious. Mixing the keema with the egg yolk made it milder, but if you're sensitive to the gamey flavor, adding vinegar makes it very easy to eat. I think next time I'll go for less rice. Now it's time to burn off those calories.
