This is a shop I found on Instagram and was interested in. It's a popular place with few seats, so it's best to make a reservation if you want to be sure to get in. The avocado, tartare, and corned beef combination was delicious. It's a simple combination but the taste is addictive. There are also delicious roast beef salads, fries, and a wide variety of drinks. We had a great time in a lively atmosphere.

We arrived at the restaurant with 6 people before 10 PM on a regular night. It was full, so we were lucky to get a table! I remember that all the dishes, which were rich in vegetables, were delicious, but I didn't take any notes (tears). We happily got drunk. We ordered 4 bottles of wine - two white and two red - recommended by the staff, ranging from 4,000 to 5,000 yen, and they were all delicious and reasonably priced. It was a delicious and enjoyable night in Kyoto.

Reservation required! It's recommended to go with multiple people and share dishes. The popular avocado tartare is a must-order menu item. We accidentally ordered too much tartare, but the staff noticed and added extra crackers for us. It was so touching (т т) The second picture shows the sweet potato gnocchi with black sesame cream sauce. The chewy gnocchi paired perfectly with the rich sauce, and the sweet potato was incredibly sweet like a donut. The third picture is the tomato risotto with oysters and spinach. The texture of the rice was firm, and the flavor of the oysters really came through! The drink menu also offers a wide selection of wines, especially the peach fruit wine was delicious (*´༥`*)

I used it for the third time. It was past 10 pm, but the restaurant was full of energy as if it were still 7 pm! There were mostly women customers. The menu was simple and easy to understand, with combinations like summer vegetables x hormone x gratin. There were various bar-style appetizers as well as Japanese-style appetizers. I enjoyed dishes like chicken liver x shiitake mushrooms x sansho pepper. They also had unique drinks like yuzu cider, which was fun to try one by one. I was feeling a bit unsatisfied as I headed back to my accommodation, but ending the night at this lively and delicious restaurant left me feeling satisfied!

I visited this restaurant once and I couldn't forget how delicious the food was and how good the service was! They have easy-to-drink fruit wines like cider, cherry wine, and honey wine which was amazingly tasty! I tried their takoyaki potato salad with original takoyaki sauce for 600 yen, and it was interesting and delicious. I also had the avocado and homemade corned beef tartare for 950 yen, which was so good! I had it before and had to order it again. The bacon and spring cabbage sake lees carbonara risotto for 1,200 yen was rich and delicious. They also have apple pie which I didn't try this time but I heard it goes well with the fruit wines. I visited this restaurant with a friend and had a great time. The atmosphere was lively and the staff were friendly. They had a wide selection of wines, including many fruit wines that were perfect for women as they had a lower alcohol content. The food was ordered a la carte and we tried the following dishes: - Yellowtail sashimi: The yellowtail was fatty and delicious. - Firefly squid ajillo: The firefly squid was flavorful and could be enjoyed even without bread. - Deep-fried nagaimo: The crispy coating had a salty flavor, and it came with mayonnaise and chili for dipping. - Risotto: We were able to choose the vegetables to add to our risotto, and it was a unique and tasty experience. - Birthday plate: Although we didn't order it, the staff noticed it was my friend's birthday and surprised us with a dessert plate. They have a wide selection of wines and there were many female customers. The menu is Italian-based. The fig and mascarpone dish was really delicious. Found a wine bar called Budouya in the same block as the hotel. Decided to stop by for a nightcap. The interior stretches deep inside with an L-shaped counter and table seats, giving off a woody vibe. I originally planned to just have a glass of wine, but when I saw my favorite Basque cheesecake on the menu, I immediately switched to dessert mode (laughs). Actually, there was a Tukuruno terrine Basque cheesecake in the hotel fridge that I brought from Tokyo as a gift, but I decided to enjoy it here. I started with a refreshing white wine, Gewürztraminer, and then moved on to a Spanish Garnacha. The Basque cheesecake was delicious. The customer next to me at the counter happened to be from Los Angeles, which sparked a casual conversation. According to a local I asked later, Budouya is known as the go-to place in times of need. Makes sense. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere made it a pleasant experience.

I visited Budoya Tsk for lunch on Sunday at 12:40. I often pass by this area at night but there are many bookmarked restaurants for lunch that I haven't tried yet, so I had a hard time deciding. There is also a second branch in Teramachi (BDY Ethnic) that I am curious about. For now, I decided to visit this branch first. There were three other customers already seated when I arrived, so I sat at the counter in the back. The lunch set includes salad, a small appetizer of the day, soup, and pasta for 1,000 yen (you can choose from three pasta options): - Neapolitan - Oil pasta with whitebait and turnips - Cream pasta with komatsuna and scallops The ladies sitting next to me at the counter ordered Neapolitan and oil pasta, both of which looked delicious. I was torn between the two and ended up choosing the cream pasta. The water glasses with grape patterns are cute. There are more female customers, but I think it's also comfortable for solo male diners (there was one that day). - Pumpkin and sweet potato soup Warm soup served in a grape-patterned cup (the grape pattern is everywhere). I love pumpkin and sweet potatoes, so I was happy with this. - Omelet appetizer Two slices of quiche-like omelet served with a green salad. Having an appetizer makes the meal more satisfying, and the salad was delicious. - Cream pasta with komatsuna and scallops It's probably a miso-based cream pasta with a hint of mustard. It's a bit salty, but the strong flavor makes me want to drink alcohol. The wing noodles, which are rare, are chewy and delicious when mixed with the sauce. In addition to komatsuna and scallops, there are also large chunks of eggplant, making the dish well-balanced. The food was delicious, and it makes me want to come back for dinner. If you run out of crackers, the staff will kindly add more without you even asking. Their seasonal sautéed shirako was also incredibly delicious. Today's lunch was at a restaurant located at the intersection of Kawaramachi and Takatsuji. Budoya tsk seems to be a dining bar that focuses on wine and vegetables. Although their hours are irregular, they were open for lunch today. Inside the restaurant, there were large jars filled with vegetables lined up on the counter. It was a nice atmosphere at the counter seats. I had the lunch set which included soup, two appetizers, and pasta. First, I tried the turnip soup. It had a creamy texture and smoothly went down my throat, warming me up inside. The two appetizers were omelette and salmon marinated beautifully like flower petals. The salmon was fatty and melted in my mouth, very delicious. The omelette was a type of egg dish called frittata with plenty of ingredients. The homemade pasta was clam and cabbage vongole, served with flat yellow noodles, lots of cabbage, and clams. The clam essence was rich, and the seasoning was just right. The noodles were chewy, and I enjoyed the taste along with the ingredients. The restaurant had a great ambiance and I discovered a lovely place.
