The cafe is a bit of a distance from the station, but it is stylish and cozy. The main seating is at the counter with few tables, so it's best for small groups. The cafe closes at 6 pm, so it has short operating hours. Around 1:30 pm on a weekday, there were a few groups of customers already there. You need to find a seat first and then order at the counter. I had a Honey Latte for ¥650. I felt a hint of acidity in the drink, which wasn't really to my taste (not bad, just not my preference). However, I keep coming back because the atmosphere of the cafe is so nice. I have also been to the branch near Marutamachi Station, and the staff there are all friendly and welcoming. They are not pushy and a little chat with them is enjoyable. The cafe has a stylish and cozy interior, but the great atmosphere is really thanks to the friendly staff. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal!

I was able to visit a shop that is open on Tuesdays, which is a rare day for many shops to be closed. The customer service provided by the staff was fantastic. They subtly explained the menu when I was indecisive, and their brightness and thoughtfulness made the experience very pleasant. The lunch hours are from 11 am to 2 pm. I had a toast with four types of cheese topped with honey, and it was delicious. I also liked that I could choose between light or dark roast for my latte. I want to try the French toast next time.

After finishing my errands in Teramachi, I stopped by Shimogoryo Shrine to draw well water. Now, let's head back home - it's going to take over an hour by car! But maybe it's better to take a little break before leaving. I asked the staff at the hair salon nearby if there was a good coffee shop around, and they recommended this place. Facing Kawaramachi Street, this cafe has a stylish interior with counter seats. The staff were friendly and the service was great. Since it was late afternoon, the setting sun was harsh, so I had to change seats three times and asked them to lower the blinds. The coffee was served in a large cup with plenty of hand drip - quite delicious! There was also a bookshelf where you could read, but I decided to just relax and zone out for a bit without thinking about anything. Even on a hot and humid day, I'm glad I chose hot coffee. Thanks for the meal!

I went in between the rain showers and it was packed. The staff greeted me with a smile and the atmosphere was bright and cheerful. The customers seemed to be of various ages. I had the Quattro Formaggi Toast set for lunch, which cost 1,100 yen, and paired it with an Americano.

This is a perfect spot to relax. The wooden decorations inside create a calming and pleasant atmosphere, with good sunlight making it really peaceful. I ordered a lemonade which had a homemade taste and was delicious. The staff were also very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

It was a calming atmosphere at the cafe! I had a flat white, and you could choose the beans, so it felt like I was drinking authentic coffee! Delicious. I also had a teriyaki chicken sandwich, and the chicken was incredibly tasty and the bread was delicious, so I was very satisfied. The donuts were tasty but nothing special haha. I was able to relax and recharge my energy. Thank you for the meal!

Located a 10-minute walk from Kyoto City Hall Station and a 15-minute walk from Kyoto Kawaramachi Station, School Bus Coffee is known for its stylish exterior. It was my first time having a morning activity with a friend there. We ordered the French Toast Plate for ¥1150 (tax included), added Carrot Rapé for an extra ¥50 (tax included), and Cheddar Cheese for an extra ¥100 (tax included). We also got a Flat White for an additional ¥200 (tax included). The French toast was soft and fluffy with a slightly sweet and salty flavor. The salad was fresh and delicious. The morning menu is available until 11 am, and they accept payment in cash, credit card, or QR code payment (such as PayPay). I think I might get hooked on this elegant morning activity. It was delicious. Thank you. I will definitely visit again.

There is another store nearby, but I came to this one first because they are the only ones that serve French toast. I ordered both the plain and strawberry French toast, which is a limited-time special. The French toast made with thick French bread was fluffy and delicious. The strawberry French toast looked fancy and appealing, and it is also kid-friendly. The phone service was good, and the staff was friendly. The atmosphere is nice and the exterior looks stylish. It's also a good place for solo diners. The only downside is that it's a bit small, and since it's a popular spot, there might be a line depending on the time. The strawberry French toast was a bit pricey.

The inside of the shop is an exciting space where you can't help but wander around. There are cute decorations everywhere! Some people are enjoying tea by themselves, while others are on Zoom calls. The French toast was delicious with a soft and bouncy texture! Even though it was after lunch, I finished it in no time.

After filling my stomach, I walked along the beautiful Kawaramachi Street and stumbled upon a cafe with a stylish exterior. The interior was filled with young and fashionable customers. The staff had a nice vibe and explained the menu thoroughly. I decided to try the Flat White, which was delicious with a gentle sweetness. It was a lovely cafe experience.

Visited the popular cafe "School Bus Coffee Stop" in Kamimaru. - Pear and Caramel Cheesecake (¥700) - Blend Coffee (¥500) The cheesecake had a refreshing taste of pear and a strong bitterness from the adult-like caramel. The outer part of the cheesecake had a moist texture instead of a crunchy biscuit crust, which was different but still good. Personally, I prefer the crunchy texture, but this was also enjoyable. The cheesecake was delicious, and the customer service was excellent. I heard they have branches in Karasuma Marutamachi and Kitahama, so I'll definitely visit them sometime.

I visited Kanshukan around 12:30 for lunch. The stylish exterior and the burger menu caught my eye, so I decided to go in. I ended up ordering a "Apple and Cream Cheese Prosciutto Sandwich" and a "Canele" that looked delicious. For a drink, I chose lemonade for something refreshing. At the cashier, I noticed they had cookies displayed, which you could warm up in the oven yourself. The staff, a kind lady, engaged in small talk about the rainy weather and asked if I had been sightseeing. The sandwich was quite filling with a nice combination of prosciutto and cream cheese. It was a bit disappointing that there were no available seats and I had to sit at the counter, but overall, it was a relaxing lunch experience.

I have been wanting to try the French toast here for a while, and I finally had the chance to visit. I arrived around 1 pm, and had to wait outside for about 10 minutes as a few groups had just entered. I ordered the bacon and egg toast with lemonade (drink set) for 1300 yen. The thick French toast with a runny fried egg on top was delicious. It was very satisfying to eat. The staff were also very friendly and provided great service. I heard they also have a morning menu, so I would love to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

I entered the store as soon as it opened on the second day of GW, and for a while, I had the place almost to myself and was able to chat with the staff. Customers started coming in around 8:20 am. I chose the Croissant Plate with an Americano and Carrot Râpé from the two morning menu options, priced at ¥1050. The lettuce in the plate was fresh and abundant, dressed with olive oil and salt, simple and delicious. The croissant was large and crispy, with a sweet powdered sugar coating in the middle that was very tasty. The Americano was hot and generously sized. Finally, I visited the shop after a long wait, and it was even more stylish and wonderful than I had imagined. The fact that they open at 8 am on weekends and holidays is great for making good use of the morning time. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Spring in Kyoto is crowded with people. Even in cafes a little away from the bustling streets, you can't get in without waiting. The customers are mostly young couples and women, and there are strange objects like clamps on the tables, making the place a bit more stylish. The music playing in the cafe is poppy, creating a lively atmosphere rather than a calm and relaxing one. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, making it a comfortable place to be.

Stylish interior, friendly and welcoming staff. The fluffy and voluminous French toast was delicious, although quite high in calories and filling. The texture was great and the specialty coffee was delicious. Whether it's for brunch or lunch, the French toast is available from 10am to 2pm with a drink set recommended. The sweeter version of French toast is available as a single item, so with a drink it totals around 1400 yen, slightly on the expensive side.

Saturday 13:15 SCHOOL BUS COFFEE STOP KYOTO There was a person in front of us waiting at SCHOOL BUS COFFEE STOP KYOTO. The person in front wanted a seat at the counter, so we were able to get seated quickly at a large table by sharing. The friendly and polite staff were very helpful in assisting us with our choices. Avocado croissant sandwich - 1,000 yen Americano French toast - 850 yen Original blend coffee - 500 yen I opted for the croissant set which was a good deal. Even though we had just eaten tonkatsu, both my daughter and I couldn't resist choosing food here. 13:31 The croissant sandwich arrived at 13:31, followed by the French toast at 13:33. The French toast came with ice cream on top and was quite filling, making my daughter, who had mentioned being a bit hungry at lunch, light up with joy. The croissant sandwich looked amazing, but it was a bit difficult for me to eat neatly due to my clumsiness (although the taste was delicious). The coffee was also delicious, and I thought this cafe was of a high standard. The interior was mostly filled with women, but there was a wide range of age groups, and of course, there were also men present, showing its popularity. If it was in a more accessible area, I would probably visit more often, but unfortunately, it's not an area I frequent. I will definitely come back when I'm in the area again. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

⭕Blend Coffee (¥500) The atmosphere of this place is really nice, perfect for relaxing. The staff are friendly and recommended a vegan cookie to go with the coffee. The blend coffee itself was well-balanced, not too bitter or acidic, with a pleasant aftertaste. The only downside is that I wish they offered a larger size than just one. The cups are reusable and decorated with plants, and the lid even had "thank you" written on it, making it a cozy place to enjoy. ⭕Special Combo - Takashi Kamogawa's Limited Edition Omi Beef Bowl (Regular ¥500) A truly delicious one-coin lunch offered at a nearby yakiniku restaurant. It's a great deal. I used to love the now-gone (but still available in the city) pineapple rice too... ⭕Special Combo - Seiko-sha Bookstore (5-minute walk) I also like Keibunsha, but Seiko-sha has a great selection of books in various genres! Despite the limited space, they manage to pack in a lot of essence. The sound of children playing on weekends also adds to the cozy atmosphere.

The stylish morning plate♪ There are two morning menu options, both come with salad, sausage, and a drink. ・Croissant plate 1,000 yen ・French toast plate 1,100 yen You can change the drink to latte, drip coffee, or decaf for an additional charge. I always find the cups here so cute and it makes me feel cheerful♪♪ The taste of the plate is average, but I really appreciate that the salad is simply seasoned with olive oil♪ The coffee is also very delicious♡

The interior of the restaurant is stylish with an American feel. It was almost full even on a weekday. The lighting inside is dim, but the sunlight coming in from the windows creates a nice atmosphere. I ordered a drip coffee (500 yen) which had a deep roast flavor with a noticeable acidity. The coffee cup was also cute! I felt like I could forget the time and stay there forever. Thank you for the meal!
