I tried 11 different frozen pasta Bolognese dishes and decided to come to this restaurant to try theirs. When it comes to rich sauce like this, I wonder if the noodles should be seasoned with salt? I think seasoning the noodles with salt and reducing the sauce's flavor a bit might make it tastier overall, but maybe that's just me? As the name suggests, the sauce had chunks of beef in it, which I appreciated. However, I wish the sauce had a bit less spice. It was delicious overall. P.S. Just like with the carbonara, I couldn't help but feel confused about what Bolognese spaghetti really is, as the frozen pasta and the restaurant version were so different. They were too different to compare. P.S. 2 The "Beef Consomme Vegetable Soup" at the soup bar was delicious, which made me happy as someone who loves soups. I went to Joripah for lunch. I ordered Arrabiata and Italian salad. The Italian salad was a good deal at 320 yen for this volume. The Arrabiata was a bit spicy and delicious.

I parked my car near Keihan Roku Jizo Station and stopped by on my way back from shopping in Namba. I ordered the new menu item, shrimp and clam mentaiko cream soup pasta. It was quite delicious. The essence of shrimp and clams was excellent. It's a bit disappointing that they don't offer a large portion.

I received the limited-time offer of W Mozzarella Tomato. It's a menu that cheese lovers can't resist, but there was more mozzarella cheese than I expected, and if you don't eat it quickly, the cheese will harden more and more. I also had the classic "Colorful Caesar Salad with 10 Types of Vegetables," which is always a good choice. The Caesar salad is a generous portion for 2-3 people and only costs 690 yen, which is cheap! The soft-boiled egg is delicious. Now, the Uni pasta is packed with plenty of seafood. The sauce has a rich Uni flavor and aroma, and there's a bit of Uni meat, giving it a satisfying texture. The pasta portion is also generous. It's a satisfying amount for 1190 yen, which I think is cheap. Well, compared to other pasta dishes that are around 700 yen, it's quite expensive at Jolly Pasta. I also love their thin-crust Italian pizza. I'm looking forward to trying their summer limited-time menu next, particularly the cold pasta dishes. Thank you for the delicious meal.

After finishing my errands in Shiga, I headed to Uji. On the way back, my partner was eating Joripaa and I couldn't resist stopping by the restaurant. I usually go for the meat sauce, but this time I decided to try the new spring menu item - Grilled Meat Sauce with Fresh Vegetables. I also ordered some garlic toast. Despite it being a busy day, the food arrived in about 15 minutes. The dish looked appetizing with a mix of vegetables and gooey cheese. The taste was more tomato-based than the usual Bolognese sauce, with fresh spring vegetables stir-fried in a peppercorn sauce - including eggplant, green beans, okra, bell pepper, and baby corn. The green beans were a bit tough, but overall it was a decent meal considering the rush. The pasta was cooked perfectly. I enjoyed it and said, "Thank you for the meal!"

I really like this store and often visit it. They have delicious pizza, pasta, and salads that are seasonal and always on special. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. I especially love their cream pasta! Every bite makes me smile. My kids enjoy the tomato-based pasta too. Overall, it's a great place to eat delicious food at a good price. The drink bar is also helpful when you have kids. It's a convenient restaurant among many in the area.

I frequented the Kowata branch for both lunch and dinner. The parking lot is spacious, but it can be a bit inconvenient to enter and exit from the side facing the prefectural road due to heavy traffic. I usually entered and exited from the side street. For lunch, they have daily pasta specials and pasta with soup, along with a drink bar, so you can have a reasonably priced meal. When dining alone, I often got seated in the middle of the floor, which was a bit unsettling. At night, I would come with friends and order several pasta dishes, gratins, and pizzas to share. We would chat so much that our throats would get dry, but as mentioned earlier, there is a drink bar, so it's not a problem (lol). When alone, I always ordered my favorite cream sauce pasta. The cream sauce here is occasionally a bit off, but mostly it's a moderately salty, mellow white sauce that I'm okay with. It's not rich and heavy, but rather light and smooth most of the time. The pizzas come with a pizza cutter, so you can cut them yourself. I'm not good at it, so I struggle with that (lol). The crust is crispy, but the flavors are not too strong. If you're looking for intense flavors, you should go to a specialty store, but dealing with the wait or reservations can be a hassle. Family-style restaurants are convenient because you can use them casually. You can quickly finish your meal or enjoy chatting with friends, making it convenient.
