Meguro-ku, Tokyo, Aobadai - Starbucks Reserve Roastery - There are various Starbucks stores with different atmospheres, and I finally visited one that I had always wanted to go to. This Starbucks is specialized in coffee at the Reserve, unlike the one in Osaka, which also focuses on food like bread. It has been selected as one of the top 100 restaurants on Tabelog, and now it has become a popular spot for both Japanese and foreign visitors. The interior of the store is lined with bread like a bakery, offering a wide variety of coffees, and the staff are kind and helpful. This time, I ordered the Golden Foam Cold Brew and a brioche. Both were delicious, and it was enjoyable to watch them being made while eating. I wanted to stay for half a day! I hope they will create a similar place in Osaka, so I can visit again.

I went around 1:30 pm on a weekday! There were already a lot of people, and they had many limited items. The staff were very helpful and explained everything clearly. There are 4 floors, with different drinks available on each floor. On the 1st floor, you can try coffee, on the 2nd floor, you can try tea. I ordered a coffee and matcha that you can only get at this store. The coffee had olive oil in it, which I found a bit strange. The matcha was very rich and delicious. There are many food options to choose from as well. Unfortunately, there was a long wait to order on the 1st floor, and finding a seat was a challenge. It was raining, so the outdoor seats were closed, and we had to find a seat inside on our own. It would have been better if the staff directed us to available seats. Overall, it's a nice place with a different atmosphere than other Starbucks, but it can get crowded and it's hard to find a seat. If you just want to enjoy the unique atmosphere, it's worth a visit!

"Reserve" refers to the highest class beans at Starbucks. "Roastery" refers to a roasting facility. Located in Naka-Meguro, this place offers coffee made with rare and high-quality beans roasted on-site from around the world. I have been hooked on "Terrace Lager" since before summer, and today I headed straight to the 3rd floor bar counter. I quickly ordered a 250ml "Terrace Lager" for ¥900 (also available in 500ml). As expected, it had a rich and refreshing taste, delicious! However, there wasn't much difference compared to the bottled version. I decided to order the bottled version to compare, but they don't offer it. Next, I tried the "Roastery Amber Ale" for ¥1,100, which is a Lager beer with a monthly blend of coffee, despite being named Ale. The September blend featured "Paradise Blend" coffee, and the balance of flavors was exquisite, truly delicious! I found another gem! It was so delicious that I forgot to take a picture. In addition to beer, they also offer a variety of other alcohols including whiskey. They have Wi-Fi, and the last order is at 9:30 PM with closing time at 10:00 PM.

As soon as you enter, you see a roasting machine that looks like a locomotive from the front. The ceiling is high with an open atrium, creating a sense of openness. There are seats on the 1st to 4th floors, allowing you to dine wherever you like. Ordering on the 1st floor may involve some waiting time, but it's enjoyable to spend time watching the roasting machine and other machinery in action. The staff are impressive as they engage in conversations about the beans and tea leaves on display, and they remember customers well. The coffee can be enjoyed in various ways. I personally didn't quite like the combination with olive oil... Next time, I'll try a coffee tasting session. On the 2nd floor, they also sell tea, and I tried the jasmine tea, which had a strong aroma and was very refreshing and delicious. As someone who enjoys both coffee and tea, it was a blissful moment for me. While some items may seem a bit pricey, the experience of a factory tour and learning about delicious ways to enjoy the drinks make it worth it. I definitely want to go back to this space!

Visited on Saturday around 17:30. Waited for 30 minutes before entering. Was unsure whether to use the second floor of TEA or choose the bar on the third floor. Opted for the bar on the third floor. Ordered an Aperol spirit, a typical Italian drink. It cost around 1,200 yen per glass, a bit on the pricey side, but considering the atmosphere and quality, it was worth it. Nighttime visits are also recommended.

A Starbucks Reserve exclusive store!!! The view is great and you can relax in this store. They have limited edition drinks and food that you can only find here. There are many Starbucks items that you can only get here!!! The melon soda is really delicious!!! This Starbucks not only serves coffee, but also tea, juice, and alcohol. It's a wonderful Starbucks where you would want to visit often.

I was always curious to visit this place, but being from the countryside, I was a bit nervous. On this day, I decided to stop by a cake shop from Naka-Meguro station and ended up at this Starbucks! It's a 4-story Starbucks and it was amazing. The photos don't do it justice, you have to see it in person! It's like a fancy, huge factory cafe. You can order coffee on the 1st floor, tea on the 2nd floor, and there's even alcohol on the 3rd floor. You can sit on any floor you like. The 1st floor was crowded, the 2nd floor was reserved seating only, so I managed to get a seat on the 3rd floor. The 4th floor had available seats too. If you're alone, you shouldn't have trouble finding a seat. There were many terrace seats overlooking the Meguro River, but it was still too hot for that. I ordered at the Tea counter on the 2nd floor, trying to stay under 1000 yen. I was interested in the green tea cream soda, but it was over budget. I opted for the seasonal limited item "Roasted Green Tea Black Roasted Seven Spice Chocolate" for 950 yen. It's hot chocolate with hojicha and whipped cream, topped with seven spice sesame seeds, offering a unique blend of smoky flavor and a hint of chili pepper. After paying, they gave me a vibrating machine, and when it buzzed, I went to pick up my order. It was a bit of a hassle to carry it up the stairs. The taste of the "Roasted Green Tea Black Roasted Seven Spice Chocolate" was light and sweet. The hojicha flavor was subtle, with the whipped cream and seven spice floating on top. The chocolate flavor was mild. The last sip with the seven spice gave a tingling sensation in my mouth. It was fun. It felt a bit pricey for a drink, but it was worth it for the experience of visiting this Starbucks. I'm glad I came. Thank you for the meal. It has become quite a tourist spot! From Green Bean to Bar Chocolate to here.

Visited on a midsummer Saturday just before noon. I could check the issuance status of the ticket on LINE, but it seemed to be just before it was issued. The restaurant was almost full except for the terrace seats. Each floor has different menus (including alcohol!). This time, I ordered a matcha cream soda-like drink on the 2nd floor. It took about 15 minutes as they brew the tea leaves before making it (I waited while being called, taking a seat and exploring the restaurant). It was very delicious.

On my way back from Yokohama, I decided to stop by "Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo" for a delicious coffee cocktail. It's about a 14-minute walk from Nakameguro Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line. I arrived at the location at 11:48 am on a Friday. The store was bustling with many customers, including foreign tourists, but since it was a weekday, there were no tickets or waiting lists, and I was able to enter right away. This was my second visit, so I headed straight to the 3rd floor "Arriviamo Bar". I ordered the "Citrus Coffee Moëni" this time, a refreshing citrus cocktail. The total came to 1700 yen, and I paid with "d payment". They gave me a buzzer that would ring when my drink was ready. It took about 8 minutes for the cocktail to be prepared. When they handed me the drink, they explained that it was a non-alcoholic cocktail. I didn't realize that before (*). The orange peel was twisted around the rim of the cup, giving off a lovely aroma. It was delicious, and I enjoyed sipping on it. Despite the abundance of ice, the large cup provided a satisfying drinking experience. I relaxed inside the store, cooled down, and felt refreshed. Thank you for the meal. (*Note) I checked the menu on the Starbucks official website before visiting, but it seems that the "Craft Cocktails" category includes both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. Even upon reviewing it later, it wasn't clear that it was non-alcoholic. This could be a bit confusing, right? Non-alcoholic cocktails like "mocktails" should be categorized separately. Please be aware of this.

On a day off, I had never been able to visit the Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Naka-Meguro due to the incredibly long lines. However, I finally had the chance to go on a weekday when I had some business in Naka-Meguro in the late morning. As soon as I entered the building, I was enveloped in the aroma of coffee. The interior had a factory-like and fantastical atmosphere with a four-story high ceiling and a huge coffee bean storage. They offered a wide variety of coffees, teas, and even alcoholic beverages, as well as a rich selection of food. I ordered the Starbucks Reserve Oriaat Golden Cream Ice Espresso with one dessert. I could choose from three types of coffee beans, so I opted for the store's original blend. When my order was ready, I went to the counter where the barista finished preparing it right in front of me, adding to the anticipation. I sat at a counter seat and tried the coffee, which had a rich yet refreshing taste with a hint of sweetness, making it elegantly delicious. Whenever I visit Naka-Meguro on a weekday, this is a must-visit spot for me.

The 4-story Starbucks Reserve Roastery is impressive with each floor being stylish! You can enjoy delicious pastries and cakes from Princi, making it truly amazing. It's like a Starbucks theme park that Starbucks lovers will adore. I can't wait to come back and decide which floor to sit on next time. ✨

I often visit Starbucks Reserve Roastery. It has been a few years since it opened, but on holidays, you still have to wait for over 2 hours for a ticket. It has an elegant atmosphere along the river in Nakameguro. The door is heavy and the interior is spacious, spanning up to 4 floors. There are plenty of seats, but it can be a battle to find a good table. The terrace seats are usually empty in the summer. This time, I was already full, so I just had coffee. I consulted with the staff and they recommended a coffee with low acidity and a rich flavor. They also have a great selection of food, with croissants being a standout. I stayed for about 2 hours before heading home. Oh, I don't think they have wifi. The atmosphere in the store is wonderful and it's a lovely space to be in. Anyone you bring here will be happy. Nakameguro is a great location, and the building was designed by Kengo Kuma. On the 4th floor, you can also enjoy alcohol, so there are various ways to enjoy the place. The prices are a bit high, but the experience is worth it. If you haven't been, I highly recommend it.

I finally visited this place after a long time since it opened. When I arrived on a Sunday evening, I first made an online reservation at a separate building to the left of the entrance. There were 74 groups ahead of me in line, but surprisingly I was seated within about an hour. While waiting for my reservation, I couldn't shop inside the store, but I could enter without a reservation. I ordered the ICED Oat Milk Latte for 700 yen, which is exclusive to this store. The sweetness of the oat milk and the rich aroma of the coffee matched perfectly. Delicious! Not only the drinks, but the interior of the store was also stylish and lovely. It seemed like more than half of the customers were inbound tourists. I also made sure to purchase some merchandise! The sunset view from the terrace was beautiful. I feel like I'll never be able to easily find a seat at this place again. Laughing.

Located in Naka-Meguro, "Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo" is a unique coffee shop that offers a variety of specialty drinks and pastries. The shop is a 14-minute walk from Naka-Meguro Station or Ikejiri-Ohashi Station. You can choose to sit on any available seat on the 1st to 4th floors or on the terrace. I ordered the Craft Caramel Latte (iced) for 900 yen and the Cookie Almond Chocolate for 406 yen. This Starbucks Reserve Roastery is one of only six in the world, and it is known for its dedication to every detail from coffee beans to roasting. Upon entering the shop, you need to get a ticket by scanning a QR code at the adjacent building and waiting for your turn. I visited on a Sunday around 2 pm and had to wait for 40 minutes. The shop is filled with the inviting aroma of coffee, and you can see a large roasting machine on the first floor where the roasting process takes place. When ordering, the staff will provide you with a QR code to view the drink menu. I chose the Craft Caramel Latte, which was made with a special Starbucks Reserve Paradise Blend Vintage 2023 espresso. The combination of rich espresso and high-quality caramel in the latte was a delightful experience. I also ordered a cookie, which was generously sized with a moist texture and a satisfying amount of almonds and chocolate. The shop offers a variety of pastries, and the menu changes depending on the time of day, ensuring a unique experience each visit. In addition to coffee and pastries, the shop also sells coffee beans, merchandise, and even alcohol on the 3rd floor. It's a great place for coffee enthusiasts and those looking for a trendy and relaxing atmosphere. Roastery Piatini Flight + Negroni Zubari Art 3520 yen + 1100 yen I come to this roastery almost every week, and I love to relax and enjoy coffee or tea here. This time, I reserved the 6:00 PM slot for the limited-time Roastery Piatini Flight experience from July 21st to August 31st. I was a bit hesitant because it was still hot, but the evenings have been getting more comfortable lately, so I chose to sit on the terrace. It was nice to enjoy the time from the slightly bright evening to when it got dark. The drinks were not included. The Classic Mojito and Negroni Zubari Art were served in the special Tsugaru Biidoro glass only available with the Piatini Flight, so I ordered the Negroni Zubari Art for the first time. First, I had the welcome drink, Citrus Coffee Morny. There was an explanation like "Today's special..." so maybe the drink changes daily. I've had it from the regular menu before, and it's refreshing and delicious, perfect for summer. Next, a stand with direct-baked focaccia was brought to the table. I once had a phase of loving afternoon tea, so just looking at the items on the stand got me excited. The bread is consistently delicious, especially the simple direct-baked focaccia. However, the other items were just okay. The Torta Lamponi Chocolate was rich and satisfying even though it was bite-sized. I wish they sold it in a regular size. I would love to have it with coffee. In terms of taste and portion for the price, it's a bit questionable, so I would rate it slightly lower.

⭐️Visited Cafe Ecuador in Roha (Chemex) in August, a cafe ranked in the top 100 on Tabelog. The cafe was closed on 7th of the month. I arrived 5 minutes before opening to avoid waiting in line. There were two groups of people lined up, but I was able to enter smoothly. I chose my favorite items with the help of the staff as I was not familiar with the place. I decided to just enjoy the coffee without ordering any food. The brewing method and the type of beans can make a difference in the taste, so I think this is a great place to try for anyone who loves coffee. I would definitely want to visit this cafe again if I have the chance.

I love coffee so this was my second visit! They had Starbucks merchandise and food that I don't usually see, which was exciting. They also have drinks with alcohol, but this time I decided to just enjoy the coffee ☕️ I thought I wouldn't be able to tell the difference when doing a taste comparison, but the aroma and taste were indeed different. It seems difficult to guess which one is which, but it was fun to try!笑

I found a highly rated Starbucks near Ikejiri Ohashi and decided to check it out. The building next to the Meguro River had a unique shape, and it seemed like a popular spot for foreign tourists taking photos. The entire four-story building was a Starbucks, with a huge roaster on the first floor that looked like an art exhibit. The seating was ample but finding a table was a bit challenging due to the crowd. Each floor had a different menu, so it was not guaranteed that you could sit where your desired items were available. After ordering, I was given a buzzer and had to pick up my items on the designated floor. I secured a counter seat on the third floor and bought tea and cakes on the second floor. I enjoyed peach-flavored iced tea, lemon pound cake, and rum-infused chocolate cake. The food selection was different from other Starbucks stores, almost like a Starbucks theme park. I later went out to the terrace, which had a resort-like feel overlooking the Meguro River. I thought it would get crowded during cherry blossom season. I had a great time and would love to come back again.

Visit date: August 15, 2023 (Tuesday) Visit time: 7:50 Queue at the time of visit: 0 people - Order: Parati's Blend 1,080 yen Siphon extraction 110 yen Located a 15-minute walk from Naka-Meguro Station, this Starbucks stands out with its stylish and high-end atmosphere. Unlike other Starbucks, it clearly sets itself apart. While it can get crowded on weekends and operates on a ticket system, weekday mornings are less busy and you can get in quickly. The menu also differs from the regular Starbucks, featuring several original blends. This time, I chose the most standard one. For an additional 110 yen, you can have it extracted using a siphon, so I opted for that. They provide explanations while performing the extraction, making it easy to understand and enjoyable. The coffee has a very distinct bean flavor and is very delicious. It has a mild bitterness and a refreshing taste. The flavor changes with temperature. As it cools down, you can appreciate its complexity even more. The first floor is for coffee, the second floor for tea, and the third floor for alcohol, each with its own concept. I thought about trying the tea next time. It was delicious, thank you for the meal.
