This is a Japanese cafe located on the second floor of a building in Omotesando. I visited around 3pm on a weekday. I didn't make a reservation, but there were empty seats so I was seated right away. It was a sunny day, and the sunlight filtering through the curtains created a very pleasant atmosphere. The long table next to me was made of high-quality wood, which matched the overall ambiance of the restaurant.
I ordered the "Three-color sweet bean paste with white rice cake" for 1200 yen (excluding tax) and "Matcha" for 1000 yen (excluding tax). Ordering these together gave me a 500 yen discount. It took about 20 minutes for the order to be served as they start making it after you order. The white rice cake with kinako powder on top had three types of sweet bean paste: edamame, strained, and maruto. The white rice flour had a gentle flavor and a chewy and soft texture. The high-quality kinako powder made it feel complete on its own. The sweet bean paste was also delicious! I usually don't like edamame paste, but this one had the perfect richness that made me want to keep eating it. The strained bean paste had a glossy finish and a smooth melt-in-your-mouth texture with an elegant sweetness. The maruto bean paste had a mild miso saltiness that complemented the other bean pastes well. The matcha had a moderate bitterness and an elegant flavor that paired well with the sweetness of the white rice cake and bean pastes. It was so delicious and the atmosphere was great, so I definitely want to come back. Thank you for the meal.

Unexpectedly finished work early, so I came to Omotesando. The iconic cafe at Anivernale Omotesando is gone, replaced by Tiffany. Next to it is under construction, so another brand store will likely open there. It took me a bit to find my destination today. There is a small sign on the first floor hallway, but it doesn't indicate the route, so I mistakenly entered through the automatic door on the first floor. Since the floor guide didn't have store names listed, I wondered if I could only enter from outside. I thought to take the outside stairs to the second floor. When I turned right, I found a door. Just as I entered, a foreign couple was leaving, so I was relieved to find a seat as it wasn't full. I was seated at the counter on the upper level, with a view of the garden in front of me.
- Marujyu An's Warm Sweet Soup ¥880 (incl. tax)
It was a chilly day (the inside was also cold due to the air conditioning), so I opted for a warm dessert. Marujyu refers to sweet potatoes. The thick sweet potato soup with floating wheat gluten warmed me up. A small dish with salted kelp on top served as a lid, allowing me to enjoy the sweet-salty combination alternately with the sweet soup. It would have been nice if they offered hojicha instead of just water. Since the clientele is mostly women, it would be appreciated if they could adjust the air conditioning, perhaps making it less cold.

Stylish space with delicious sweets such as warabi mochi, shiratama, and three types of sweet bean paste - yukari, zunda, and strained. Made with real bracken powder, the warabi mochi has a chewy and gooey texture that is irresistible. The seasonal three-colored sweet bean paste complements the mochi perfectly with their elegant sweetness. It's all very delicious!

I visited around 2 o'clock. I was able to enter smoothly without waiting. I ordered Uji pure breed Gyokuro tea and warabi mochi. The warabi mochi is made after the order is placed, so it took about 15 minutes to come out. The tea was served with a hourglass timer to determine the brewing time. It had a strong bitterness but was rich and delicious. As for the warabi mochi, it was surprisingly soft! I had never eaten such a soft warabi mochi before. It was served with black honey to dip in, and it was so soft that it felt like it might slip out of the chopsticks.

I was looking for a Japanese-style cafe where I could relax and enjoy matcha before heading to a nearby fireworks festival in my yukata, and I stumbled upon a lovely cafe right in the heart of Omotesando. The entrance garden and well-maintained greenery were beautiful. The cafe had private rooms, but the best spot was definitely at the window counter overlooking the garden. Since it was past lunchtime, we were able to get in without waiting. The atmosphere was so calm and it didn't feel like we were in the middle of the city at all. The interior had a warm wooden feel to it. I ordered matcha and a Japanese dessert to share with my friend. The limited-time lemon anko and popular warabi mochi were delicious. It cost us around 4000 yen for the two of us, which is not cheap, but considering the lovely ambiance and friendly staff, it was definitely worth it. They also offer a Japanese course lunch, which I would like to try next time. Thank you very much. It was a wonderful meal.

I always wanted to visit this place, Chashaku Kanadanaka, a modern Japanese cafe located on the 2nd floor of a building near the Omotesando intersection. It is a well-known traditional restaurant that has a stylish and modern cafe. Reservations are not accepted for the cafe, so there is always a line, but today I made a reservation and had a wonderful Japanese lunch called "Aomomiji no Bon". The lunch comes with dessert and matcha, making it a cafe experience as well. The modern and stylish interior, with a view of a Japanese garden-like garden, made the meal even more enjoyable. The set menu included a drink, so I had a Wilkinson's Ginger Ale and my companion had a sweet orange juice. The dishes had complex names, so please refer to the menu for details. The fig with black sesame miso, hand-rolled sushi with bonito and sea bream, and a hot pot with eel, watercress, leeks, and Kyoto onions were all delicious and flavorful. The dessert was a fruit brulee with pineapple, kiwi, and orange, accompanied by matcha. It was a perfect ending to the meal, not too heavy or too light. Since it was during the Obon period, the restaurant was not too crowded, and we enjoyed a leisurely lunch while admiring the beautiful garden. I would love to visit again for dessert time if I have the chance. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I chose the seasonal limited edition lemon anmitsu. It was refreshing and sweet with lemon paste and cafe latte ♡ The view was also nice, and I want to come back again. My friend had the tokoroten, which was also incredibly delicious. It seems like it was freshly made...! Next time, I want to try the tokoroten~!

I made a reservation for a course because I wanted to eat conger eel. Each dish was delicious, and by the time I finished everything, I was full. The atmosphere with high counters and seats overlooking the garden was lovely, and it was a very nice restaurant. Next time, I want to go eat some sweets.

I entered a long stone corridor and found a sliding door entrance. A bit bewildered, I opened the door and entered a floor with long tables and chairs arranged in a staircase-like manner. I was guided to the center of the top tier, what a great seat! And the best part, there was no one else in the restaurant! I ordered the Fruit Brulee and Matcha. I wanted to enjoy Matcha in such a elegant setting. First, they served me water, which tasted so delicious while I admired the garden view. The Fruit Brulee had pineapples, kiwis, oranges topped with caramelized sugar in a wave pattern. The Matcha was Itoen's Ginpu white Matcha. It was absolutely delicious. Later, a few other customers came in, all looking as bewildered as I was when I entered, so I felt relieved that I wasn't the only one feeling a bit lost.

We used the restaurant for two people from 5:30 pm on a weekday. When we opened the sliding door, we felt a stylish and quiet Japanese atmosphere in a clean space. We had made a reservation, so we were guided to a large table seat visible from the outside and sat down. We ordered a course meal, and dishes were served one by one. We enjoyed corn tempura, agar jelly, seasoned dish, steamed dish, two types of sashimi, conger eel, young sweetfish, eel simmered dish, meat, sashimi rice bowl, dessert, and matcha. The tempura, steamed dish, and meat were delicious. We leisurely enjoyed a delicious dinner.

#Today's sweet treat, #Chashu Kanenaka's #authentic anmitsu and #gyokuro tea. The cafe menu service starts precisely at 2:00 PM, and I was the first customer. I arrived at 2:00 PM, even though there were several empty seats, I was made to wait outside in the heat. I was seated at 2:10 PM. The waiter brought water at 2:15 PM, and I placed my order. The dessert was served at 2:25 PM. I left at 2:50 PM. The anmitsu had salty perilla seeds on top, which added a nice aroma but lacked impact due to the small portion. It consisted of red bean paste, red peas, agar jelly, and black syrup. It was decent but nothing extraordinary. The gyokuro tea was served in a pot that didn't retain heat well, so it cooled down quickly. I had to keep brewing it to enjoy it warm. Is this normal for gyokuro tea, or should it be served differently? The taste was mediocre, and the service was extremely poor, yet I wonder why this place is popular. Maybe the food menu is better? The view from the large window was nice, with beautiful moss outside. That's the only thing worth praising. The two customers next to me arrived after me but were still not served even after 50 minutes. This cafe is not functioning properly. People waiting outside for 30 minutes or more while there are empty seats inside is truly puzzling. The entrance to the building where Armani is located on the 2nd floor, the closest staircase is on the Aoyama side. I'm glad I didn't bring any friends along. I won't be coming back here. #SweetTooth #Dessert #Sweets #sweet #dessert #SweetsClub #snack #TokyoGourmet #TokyoSweets #OmotesandoSweets #Cafe #CafeHopping #TokyoCafe #OmotesandoCafe #JapaneseTea #Anmitsu #SweetShop #japanesetea #GreenTea

After shopping, I enjoyed a luxurious cafe time. I sipped tea and nibbled on sweets while gazing at the Japanese garden view through the large window. I had cold brew iced coffee and seasonal limited edition lemon anmitsu. There was a 500 yen discount for the set, so I ended up having the sweet treat no matter what. However, this anmitsu is delicious even for those who aren't big fans of sweets.

Even when there are empty seats, there is a consistent line for a certain amount of time. Some places prioritize atmosphere. I would like to visit if I can relax without waiting during weekdays. If the quality and quantity are worth waiting for on weekends... I guess you won't know until you try it. The strawberry daifuku is only available in winter, so I'm debating whether I should give it another try.

Located on the 2nd floor of a large building in an area lined with high-end brands in Omotesando, I visited around 5 pm on a Friday. To my surprise, the place was quiet and there was no one else around, giving it an exclusive feel. The serene garden outside was visible through full glass windows on the left side. I was seated at a counter with a beautiful view of the garden, and I ordered the Anmitsu for 880 yen. It was served in a wooden bowl resembling a miso soup bowl, with agar jelly, black beans, plenty of sweet red bean paste, and black syrup. The taste was very sweet, but with a hint of spice that made it delicious. The black beans were also tasty. Around 5:30 pm, for some reason, the blinds were halfway closed, obstructing the view of the garden. It was a mystery to me. The place was not crowded, and I was able to work peacefully. The greenery in the garden, which I initially thought was moss, turned out to be sedum, a type of succulent plant that I love. I could have spent hours just admiring it.

Worth lining up for! A restaurant with a garden that opens at 11:30 on weekdays but we arrived at 11:00 and there was already a couple in line ahead of us. We were second in line! About 5 groups were already waiting 10 minutes before opening! Lunch courses are available from ¥5,500 and reservations are accepted. If you prefer a seat with a view of the garden, it's recommended to make a reservation or arrive early with a party of 2. For groups of 3 or more, you might be seated at a table further back. The cafe is also lovely, but it seems like there's usually a long wait, so it's hard to visit. That's why enjoying sweets during lunch was a nice treat! ♡

I went there a little after 1 PM on Saturday. There were already two groups of people waiting, and it seemed that if you didn't have a reservation, you could only enter from 2 PM. Since I had come all the way, I decided to wait until 2 PM.
1. Fig Daifuku: A daifuku wrapped in fig and lemon bean paste. It was very delicious.
2. Fig Brulee: A thin dish of brulee with fig. It was very delicious.
3. Gyokuro (a type of green tea)
4. Matcha: The drinks were also very delicious.
It was a busy time after lunch, so I understand, but I had to wait for an hour to get into the restaurant, and then another hour and a half for the food and drinks to come out after ordering. The staff seemed very tired, and I could hear loud noises of dishes clashing and falling from the back of the restaurant, which made me a little worried. However, the drinks, daifuku, and brulee were all very delicious! Thank you for the meal.

I finally visited a restaurant that I had been curious about for a while, and tried their short course kaiseki lunch on a weekday. The environment and presentation were both fantastic! I could enjoy a healing meal while facing the garden view from the counter seats. The food and tea were all beautifully presented with great taste. Surrounded by greenery, I felt relaxed and had a wonderful afternoon. Food: excellent, Atmosphere: excellent, Value for money: excellent, Drinks: good, Service: fair (The only disappointing thing was that I didn't feel any hospitality in the service... The explanations of the menu were too robotic, and I think they were confused when taking drink orders probably because they weren't familiar with the menu. I understand that they hire only young staff to match the location and style of the restaurant, but I think having at least one experienced staff member as a sort of conductor would improve the balance of the service.)

Finally got to eat at a Japanese restaurant near Omotesando Station! It's always crowded but I finally made it! Happy♡ The course was 3,500 yen, a bit pricey but delicious and worth it. I had a seafood bowl with tuna and sukiyaki. I forgot to take a picture of the dessert, but it was luxurious with zenzai! Definitely recommend it!

The restaurant was used for a night course. There were customers drinking alone, and the atmosphere was great. The food was stylish. However, there were a few things that bothered me a bit... The sound of washing dishes was quite loud, and they didn't take away the empty glasses for a long time. It's good that they didn't forcefully recommend the next drink, but leaving the empty glasses there was a bit off-putting. Also, you have to ask for water, or else it won't be served. It left me feeling a bit frustrated.

On Saturday around 3pm, all the cafes in this area were full, but this cafe was a bit more expensive so it was empty. They had a lot of sold out items, but the taste was elegant and the seating was spacious. It was a nice change from the atmosphere of Omotesando and Harajuku.
