When I visited Kyoto for work, I went to this restaurant for entertaining guests. The shop is quietly located in a back alley just a few minutes' walk from Kyoto Station. In summer, Kyoto is famous for pike conger. We had it boiled and mixed with plum paste for a refreshing taste. Grilled shirako was paired with sake. It was a great way to enjoy Kyoto. The restaurant seems to have customers coming in even late at night, as we were politely asked to leave after exactly 2 hours. It may not be the best place for a leisurely meal.

Today is my birthday! When asked what I wanted to eat, I requested blowfish and they happily accommodated my request. I enjoyed a blowfish full course meal today, including grilled blowfish. I also added two servings of blowfish skin. It was delicious and satisfying as always. Thank you very much. Itadakimasu!

Today, I made a reservation for a blowfish course ⭐️ When I arrived, I was shown to a private room, but it was quite narrow with a pillar in the middle (。・ε・。) It would be okay for slim people, but this time I ordered too much - 4 servings of blowfish skin for hot pot, 2 servings of blowfish sashimi, and also added some boiled blowfish... My stomach was so full... I was satisfied ⤴⤴ Mmm, it was delicious ❤❤ Thank you for the meal (^人^)

After a long time in Kyoto, I was thinking about what to eat. Oh, I haven't had blowfish in years! So I visited Kagetsu, just 5 minutes from Kyoto Station for the first time. The blowfish sashimi was amazing, made from freshly caught blowfish that were swimming in a tank just moments ago. The texture was so soft and tender. I couldn't resist ordering more! The hot blowfish pot at the end was also delicious.

My daughter said she wanted to eat crab, so we decided to try this place. We made a reservation attracted by the price. We chose the grilled crab lunch set. The crab vinegar and crab sashimi were served in small portions, but they were delicious. The main grilled crab was sweet and satisfying. The crab sushi was small, shaped like a ball of rice with crab meat on top. The rice was on the sweeter side. The green tea ice cream for dessert was quite large, with an average taste. Each table had a door to create a private room feel. It might be cramped for men or larger individuals. The service was average, with no issues. Overall, it was an average experience. If you're looking to eat crab at a reasonable price with friends, you'll be reasonably satisfied.

This is my second visit! I wanted to eat tecchiri, tessha, fugu kawa, and teppi again. The fugu karaage was delicious too! Of course, I also added skin and teppi as single items to my tessha. For the finale, I had zosui - the egg was a bit overcooked though. It was so delicious! The atmosphere was calm and private, like a private room. Thank you for the meal!

My college daughter wanted to eat fugu, so we made a lunch reservation for her. I had other plans in the afternoon, so I didn't drink alcohol. The portion size was just right for drinking, but without alcohol, it felt a bit lacking. My daughter, who has a big appetite, ordered rice and ate it heartily. Thank you for the meal.

Today, even though we were a bit late, we celebrated our wedding anniversary here⭐️. I made a reservation for lunch, and we enjoyed some delicious fugu and seasonal conger eel that I've been wanting to eat♪. We ordered the conger eel set meal with hot pot and tempura (6 items for 3800 yen) and the grilled conger eel set meal with tempura (6 items for 3800 yen). We also ordered 3 servings of sashimi for 1300 yen each and a boiled conger eel for 700 yen. I couldn't decide on my favorite sashimi, so I reluctantly ordered the boiled conger eel, but to my surprise, they brought out the sashimi I wanted⤴(≧▽≦). Everything was delicious and we enjoyed our meal in a private room with a calming atmosphere. The fact that there was no ceiling made it even more relaxing. Even though the restaurant is on the second floor, it was easy to access with an elevator⤴⤴. Thank you for the wonderful meal(^人^)

The sashimi, deep-fried blowfish, crab shabu-shabu, grilled crab, blowfish hot pot, finishing with porridge, and a special order of grilled blowfish milt. All of them were incredibly delicious with plenty of blowfish fins. The fin sake was excellent.

I received a request from overseas colleagues to try fugu cuisine after a long time, so I made a reservation in a private room. There were two private rooms available, allowing us to talk leisurely, and they were satisfied with the tessa and tecchiri after a long time. I plan to use this place again.

I visited this restaurant once at night and twice for lunch. I think it offers great value for the price. If you were to eat fugu at another restaurant, it would cost almost double the price! The taste is not inferior to high-end restaurants, but even surpasses them. I can only go once a year, but I always look forward to it. I will be going soon!
