Napolitan pasta for 900 yen. It was lunchtime, so it came with a salad. The salad was a small portion of lettuce, one slice of tomato, and it felt like a nice little set. The dressing was a tangy French dressing that stimulated the appetite as an appetizer, which was nice. The Napolitan pasta looked like a large portion with a lot of volume, but the plate itself was the size of a piece of toast, so it was just the right amount. The ingredients included onions, mushrooms, green peppers, and salami. The pasta was slightly thin but had a chewy texture, with just the right balance of sweetness and acidity from the tomato ketchup, creating a gentle flavor. It was different from the peppery Napolitan pasta you might have as a drinking snack, so it was not too stimulating and you didn't get tired of eating it. There was powdered cheese and Tabasco on the table, both of which went well with the pasta, but the plain Napolitan was the best. It had that classic cafe taste! I think it was worth more than the price. I visited around 12:30 on a weekday and there were 7 people waiting outside, so I had to wait for about 30 minutes, which was longer than expected, but it's understandable for a cafe. The atmosphere inside was relaxed and time seemed to pass slowly.

Sabouru Dining. The neighboring Sabouru only offers light meals and coffee. Conversely, our Sabouru 2 does not allow coffee-only orders. There are various meal options, but the Napoli-style spaghetti is overwhelmingly popular. Even the regular portion is quite filling, but opting for the large portion will result in a Napoli-style spaghetti of an unprecedented size. The coffee has a traditional café taste. The cream soda, available in popular blue and green varieties, allows customers to choose their preferred color. Saturdays tend to have long lines, but there are seats available downstairs, and the restaurant has a decent number of seats, allowing for relatively quick turnover.

I arrived around 2pm and there were about 3 people waiting in front of me, but I was able to enter the restaurant in about 10 minutes. Ten minutes after being seated, a large serving of spaghetti Napolitan arrived! It looked like a lot, but it was so delicious and simple that I couldn't stop eating and finished it all. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nostalgic and calming, and I definitely want to come back again!

I arrived at the restaurant I had always wanted to visit just 5 minutes before it opened at Jimbocho Station. Before the opening, they took orders from the people waiting in line. I ordered the Napoli-style pasta with less portion as it was mentioned in the reviews that the portions were small. Even with less portion, it was enough for a woman. The lady behind me ordered a regular portion and ended up leaving some uneaten. The noodles were soft and the flavor was on the sweeter side, a classic Napoli-style pasta from a cafe. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

After a long time, I felt like eating the Napolitan at Sabouru, so I went to Sabouru 2. When I arrived at the restaurant a little before noon on Saturday, there were already about 10 people waiting in line. After waiting for about 10 minutes, we were seated inside the restaurant. I ordered the Napolitan with a banana juice, and my friend ordered the meat sauce with coffee. The meat sauce arrived first, followed by the Napolitan. It had been 9 years since I last had the Napolitan, and I had slightly high expectations. However, the taste was just as I remembered. The Napolitan at a coffee shop - with soft noodles, a gently sweet ketchup flavor, and a generous portion even for a regular size - remains the same. The meat sauce that my friend had was decent, but the salad that came with the set was honestly lacking. The banana juice and coffee were delicious.

I visited around 11:00 on a weekday and was seated right away as there were only 2 people waiting. The restaurant was spacious with only 4-person tables in the basement. However, the air conditioning was too strong, making it uncomfortably cold even though there was plenty of space between tables. I ordered the meat sauce pasta for ¥900. The portion was generous with about 150g of noodles. They only provided forks, and the plates were too small to mix the pasta properly, so I had to transfer it to a salad plate. The taste was slightly sweet and delicious, resembling a mix between meat sauce and napoletana.

After 35 years of living in Tokyo, I finally tried the Napolitan pasta at Sabo-ru 2. Just so you know, the neighboring Sabo-ru only serves light meals and coffee. Sabo-ru 2 does not offer coffee-only options. I decided to stop by for a meal before heading to the Tokyo National Museum of Modern Art, which is located near the A7 exit of Jimbocho station. It was my first time having Napolitan pasta since childhood. The taste was nostalgic. The strawberry juice was also delicious in a classic way.

I visited "Sabouru 2" for the first time after 3:00 PM. I ordered the Italian spaghetti as shown in the picture. It cost 900 yen (tax included), and I paid in cash. It's nice that you can casually drop by. The spaghetti was delicious and the portion was good. I decided that I would like to come back to this place again. Thank you for the meal.

The cafe had a very retro look. When I entered, I was led to a seat on the second floor, and it was hot... extremely hot. I didn't feel it when I first entered, but the further in I went, the more I couldn't stop sweating. There was air conditioning at the entrance, so it was cool, but there was no other air conditioning on the second floor, so it was just hot. There was a basement as well, but it seemed to have air conditioning. I entered after lunchtime, so the lunch menu was over. They only had pasta left, so I ordered the Italian pasta with a side salad (with French dressing). The pasta (more like spaghetti) had a salty flavor with onions and bacon in it. It was delicious. Most of the customers inside were sweating. Laughing.

I listened to a radio drama on Tokyo FM that mentioned a restaurant with the same name in Jimbocho, so I decided to visit. I ordered the Neapolitan pasta after seeing it on a different TV show and it was delicious, although the portion was quite large and the taste was reminiscent of Showa era Neapolitan. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also very retro. Next time, I want to come for coffee during a less busy time. I arrived before 1 pm and had to wait for about 10 minutes. When I left the restaurant after 1 pm, there was already a wait of around 30 minutes. It's important to be mindful of the time you visit this place.

The portion of Napolitan was large but not boring. It was the best Napolitan I've had. Despite it being a weekday afternoon, there was a line of about 5 groups waiting in the scorching heat, which made me sweat a lot, but the early opening time meant the wait wasn't too long.

I always wanted to visit this famous Tokyo coffee shop! My girlfriend ordered the Napolitan, so I decided to go with the meat sauce instead of the usual Napolitan. I tried both dishes, but I can't choose a favorite... The large portion was quite filling, but the meat sauce was lighter in flavor compared to the Napolitan, so it was easy to finish!

I visited around 12:00 on a weekday. There were about 15 people waiting in line. I was asked for my order at the entrance and entered the restaurant after waiting for about 30 minutes. I ordered the set menu with a large portion of Neapolitan pasta. It came with a mini salad and a drink for 1,400 yen. The Neapolitan pasta had a nostalgic, old-fashioned taste. It was rich and addictive.

The lunch at Sabouru 2 in Jimbocho was truly amazing! While the restaurant is known for its mountainous portion of Napolitan, this time I decided to try the ginger pork lunch set. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was! I never expected that rice would go so well with it. The juicy and tender ginger pork melted in my mouth, and each bite was a delightful experience for my taste buds. The cozy atmosphere of the restaurant was also very welcoming. The service was excellent, with the dishes being served promptly.

I happened to go to Jimbocho and tried to hit the opening time, but missed it by a little and had to wait for 30 minutes (sweating). It was a relief that it was shady. Actually, it was hot inside the cafe (sweating). Does it mean "leave soon" when it's hot in a cafe? It might be better to order drinks elsewhere (laughs). The staff takes your order in advance and serves it as soon as you sit down, just like at Yoshinoya. There are many young girls and couples drinking soda water. Spaghetti is popular among students. Even the regular size is quite filling, but if you get the large size, it's an extra 200 yen. It's nice that there is powdered cheese on the table. Sharing is apparently possible, but I didn't see anyone doing it. As for the taste? It might just be nostalgic. It might have a little more filling than Pancho.

When it comes to Sabouru, it used to be a popular spot during my student days, affordable for young people and with generous portions, a relaxing place. However, due to the retro boom, there is always a long line whenever I go. The prices have also gone up quite a bit. The taste remains the same as before, which is reassuring, but I miss the old days when I could walk in without waiting in line...

Inside the restaurant, there was a retro vibe with Morning Musume songs playing, making it feel like the late 1990s. I ordered the classic Napolitan pasta and an iced coffee. It's been a while since my last visit. It was already past 1:30 in the afternoon, but there was still a line! The prices had also gone up a bit. I had the classic Napolitan for 900 yen. It was topped with plenty of powdered cheese and I added lots of Tabasco sauce. The portion was generous and I left feeling very satisfied.

I visited the restaurant in the early afternoon on a regular day. I waited outside for about 5 minutes before entering. I ordered the Neapolitan pasta and a green cream soda without hesitation, as recommended. The Neapolitan pasta was piled high and the cream soda looked just like in the pictures. It was actually my first time trying them. The Neapolitan pasta had a strong sour taste with a hint of saltiness. It was a bit difficult to eat as I tried to roll it up with a fork while breaking down the mountain of pasta. The cream soda was extremely sweet. If asked if it was delicious, how should I respond... well, I guess it was okay. Maybe my expectations were too high, which made me give a slightly critical review. The retro atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, but seeing people waiting in line outside (as I could see from the window) made it hard to relax and enjoy. So, I left soon after. It wasn't the kind of place where you could leisurely enjoy tea, and the taste was just average, so personally, I don't think I would visit again. Also, the interior of the restaurant was too hot, so a handheld fan was a must.
