When the cherry blossom blooming announcement was made, it quickly reached full bloom. Feeling like having a cherry blossom-themed afternoon tea, I made a last-minute phone call. They had availability for a counter seat at 4 pm, so I hurried over. Upon arrival at the reserved time, there were a few groups ahead, so I waited for about 5 minutes. The lounge was almost full, mostly with women. The staff were busy serving afternoon tea sets to every table. The popularity of afternoon tea is amazing.
- Sakura Strawberry Afternoon Tea Set: 4900 yen (+ service charge + tax), 2-hour limit.
On weekends, it includes only one drink, but for an additional 1000 yen, you can have unlimited refills from a selection of teas.
The counter seats are positioned high, offering a view of the surroundings. The staff seemed busy due to the full house.
The tea service started with an iced Darjeeling Spring (black tea) and Jasmine Pearl (flavored tea). The second round was green tea, which didn't look very green but tasted like a mix of green tea and jasmine.
After about 15 minutes, a square glass tray arrived with neatly arranged savory and sweet treats, predominantly in pink hues with green accents.
- Savory:
- Smoked Chicken and Cheddar Cheese, Cucumber Sandwich on spinach bread with cherry blossom butter and strawberry jam accents.
- Cherry Blossom Shrimp and New Onion Quiche
- Sweets:
- Sakura Mousse Tart with Strawberry Jelly
- Spring-colored Roll Cake with strawberry and cherry blossom cream
- Sakura Mochi and Strawberry Verrine
- Matcha Baked Cheesecake with strawberries
- Sakura Macaron
The scones were served with clotted cream and black honey, accompanied by Black Tea and Flavored Tea. The Jewel of Nuwara Eliya pot was replaced with a cup, which was a nice touch.
The atmosphere was lively and not as elegant and relaxing as expected in a hotel setting, but I enjoyed the charming and cute cherry blossom-themed sweets. I hope we can enjoy the cherry blossoms for as long as possible this year. Thank you for the meal.

It's a birthday celebration lunch visit. My partner made a reservation at "Twenty Eight" on the 28th floor of the Conrad. The afternoon tea is strawberry-themed, perfect for me, a strawberry lover. The large windows offer a view of Tokyo Bay sparkling in the sunlight. The afternoon tea includes: - Sweets: Strawberry parfait, strawberry and pistachio mousse, strawberry and hazelnut tart, strawberry cream with rooibos tea mousse, strawberry and rose cake - Savory: Strawberry and beef cheek borscht cake, strawberry and scallop mousse tart, strawberry salsa, caviar, sour cream waffle - Scones: Plain scone, strawberry scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam - Drinks: A selection of about 20 types of tea. The glass plates are filled with adorable sweets and savory items that make girls squeal with delight. The favorite was the strawberry and pistachio mousse, with its sweet and tangy strawberry mousse and rich pistachio mousse. The high ceilings and open space create a luxurious and elegant atmosphere for enjoying the afternoon tea. It was a bit of a luxury treat. Thank you for the meal!

I used it for afternoon tea. There were many children and it was full even on weekday evenings. Truly a Halloween afternoon tea. It was crowded, so it took about 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive after ordering. It can be tough to eat only sweet things without drinks towards the end, but everything was delicious. I wish there were more non-sweet options. LOL

I visited the "Bar & Lounge TwentyEight" on the 28th floor of the Conrad Tokyo in Shiodome. I tried the Sailors Farewell Afternoon Tea (weekday plan) which includes: Sweets (5 types) - Shine Muscat and Coconut Jelly with hidden Hinata salt - Lemon and Praline Tart with a hint of smoked salt - Fromage Blanc and Passion Fruit Mousse with Himalayan pink salt - Salted Caramel Tigre with pineapple and Christmas Island salt - Pink Grapefruit Mousse with lychee jelly and Kanhoa salt; Savory (3 types) - Pork rillette tart with Ehime fleur de sel - Chicken roll with truffle salt and Dofinoise - Okinawa salt Shimamars jelly with saffron mayonnaise; Scones - Plain scone and Mango scone with clotted cream and summer orange marmalade; Drinks - Free-flowing selection of approximately 20 drinks. The Sailors Farewell Afternoon Tea, in collaboration with the British royal family's 260-year-old brand "WEDGWOOD," features seasonal fruits and vibrant sweets served with Wedgwood's Sailors Farewell collection tableware, using various brand salts from around the world as accents. You can enjoy a variety of drinks, including Wedgwood tea, with free refills. We enjoyed this elegant experience while overlooking Hama-rikyu Gardens.

I went to Conrad's afternoon tea after a long time ☕️ I feel like it has increased by about 1000-2000 yen due to price increases! But I was able to go at a great deal with a plan. Each item was delicious and I was so impressed, it was very soothing. The collaboration with Wedgwood is too cute! I want to go again when I want to treat myself.

During the pandemic, I had been holding back on indulging in afternoon tea, but finally decided to restart and chose Twenty Eight at Conrad for my first visit. I reserved a window seat, and despite the iffy weather on the day, the view of Hama-rikyu Gardens below was lovely. The sweets and savories were perfectly balanced and delicious, and I enjoyed the elegant WEDGWOOD tableware and tea. The staff were attentive and friendly, but one downside was that they started clearing up too quickly after the last order, making me feel a bit rushed. I hope they can let guests stay comfortably until the end next time. I'm looking forward to visiting in the winter evening to see if I can enjoy the twilight time.

The Sailor's Farewell Afternoon Tea at Wedgwood was lovely. The restaurant is located on the 28th floor, offering a great view of the Rainbow Bridge and nice weather. Although we were seated in the middle of the restaurant, so we couldn't see the greenery of Hamarikyu Gardens, the view was still amazing. The sweets were all delicious, but the tea was a bit weak and lacked flavor, especially the iced tea. Despite it being a weekday, the restaurant was almost full and quite lively. It may not be the best choice for those looking for a quiet and relaxing afternoon tea experience.

Conrad Tokyo 28th floor. An open space with a ceiling height of 8 meters overlooking Hamarikyu Gardens and Tokyo Bay. Sailor's Farewell Afternoon Tea Course 7200 yen Window seat guarantee +1000 yen Summer afternoon tea using summer fruits. Drinks include 20 types of Wedgwood tea, etc. Make a reservation on the reservation site for 14:00 on weekdays. It was good to have a window seat guarantee for the inside seats as well as the window seats. The food is elegant and subtly flavored overall. The main dishes are refreshing and light, perfect for summer. Although there is not much contrast, the taste is safe and delicious. The tea is served in cups, not pots. The cups are large, so it is impossible to have a wide variety. The amount is more than at home, so the Wedgwood tea tasted lighter. The welcome tea (iced tea) was an original tea from Conrad Tokyo and was delicious. The deciding factor for the reservation was the Wedgwood Sailor's Farewell tableware, but I was disappointed to see different tableware. The saucers were plain white Wedgwood cups. Other guests had both Sailor's Farewell tableware. When I subtly mentioned it to the server, they brought Sailor's Farewell cups for the last two servings. Maybe they were busy and running out of tableware. The last order for drinks and the bill came a little earlier than the scheduled time, and they cleared the empty dishes quickly. When I used Gordon Ramsay on the same floor, it was very good, so I had high expectations, but this time it was a bit disappointing.

I reserved a window seat. The view was wonderful because the weather was nice. The savory and sweet items featuring salt had a subtle saltiness that added a nice touch, making them very delicious. There were 20 different drinks available, making it a very satisfying afternoon tea experience.

From 2 days ago, reservations are required. There was no response at all to inquiries made by phone. Even after making a reservation, the food didn't come out right away and there were many frustrating moments. It was good that there was no parking fee. However, the package was surprisingly cool! The eclair inside was quite damaged, but it looked cool. And the taste was geniusly delicious! The cream was fluffy with a gentle sweetness. The sweet and sourness of the fruit, the nuttiness of the pistachio, and the crispiness of the pastry were all excellent. I was very satisfied.

I visited the lounge at Conrad Tokyo to enjoy the "Matcha Afternoon Tea in Zen Garden." The most surprising item was the "Matcha Choux with Akita Prefecture Iburi Gakko and Bacon." It was my first time trying a savory choux pastry, and I thought it was interesting. Inside, there was a non-sweet cream cheese filling that paired well with the salty flavors of Iburi Gakko and bacon. It was delicious.

Conrad Tokyo's lounge has high ceilings and large windows. The staff are friendly and we often visit the lounge even without staying at the hotel. The afternoon tea always has a theme and while the portions are not large, each item is cute and delicious, which we really enjoy.

The deluxe cherry blossom course. The weather was a bit bad, but still, enjoying afternoon tea with a beautiful view made my heart dance. I usually go for the standard course, but this time I made a reservation for the deluxe course. It was a delightful time where I could enjoy both visually and gastronomically at one of my favorite spots.

"I had the 'Sakura Strawberry Graceful Afternoon Tea' and it was delightful! The relaxing atmosphere, soothing music, lovely and cute sweets, and delicious seasonal tea made it a very satisfying experience. The view was also quite nice with a better ambiance than nearby high-rise hotels. Here's a summary of the menu and my thoughts:
Scones:
- Plain scone
- Strawberry scone (with clotted cream and strawberry jam)
The scones were moist, perfectly sweet, and had a nice depth of flavor.
Savories:
- Smoked salmon and dill cream potato crepe roll
- Smoked duck, strawberry, and couscous tabbouleh
- Sakura shrimp souffle and cabbage ombre
The savory items were delicious and showcased a great balance of flavors.
Sweets:
- Sakura mochi verrine
- Sakura and strawberry mousse
- Mixed berry macaron
- Strawberry tart with tonka bean ganache
- Strawberry and ruby chocolate mousse with orange and yuzu jam
All the sweets had just the right amount of sweetness and paired well with the seasonal tea.
Drinks:
I tried various drinks, but the Sakura tea stood out with its delicious flavor that complemented the concept of the sweets. The recommended strawberry milk tea was also fantastic with its perfect sweetness and flavor.
Overall, the staff was friendly and the cute presentation of the dishes made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for those who enjoy a sweeter afternoon tea experience!"

Visited for afternoon tea. When I came back after staying overnight, they had arranged a celebration plate for me as we had discussed via email beforehand. The staff were attentive, promptly offering more drinks as soon as our cups were empty, encouraging us to try a variety of options. Great service overall.

Seasonal limited afternoon tea at Conrad Tokyo, famous for its cute style on a single plate. This time, I went to the seasonal limited afternoon tea. I used it for White Day, but there were overwhelmingly few men. This time I ordered: Afternoon Tea Time 3/4-5/7 [Sat/Sun/Holidays] "Graceful Afternoon Tea with Cherry Blossoms and Strawberries" 7800 yen with all-you-can-drink drinks. I made a reservation through Ikkyu. I will put the menu in the latter half! They all looked cute and got me excited. Be careful because it is a seasonal limited edition. The timing of the arrival of the sweets, the staff asked if they could take a photo, showing their familiarity. Thank you for the meal. ⚠️As of March 2023

During strawberry season! Strawberries always look beautiful. I'm not a fan of overly sweet dishes, so I don't go to Afnoon that often, but I felt like this strawberry course had fewer main dishes. Maybe because strawberries were the main focus, even the side dishes had strawberries in them. However, there weren't any overly sweet or too intense dishes. The strawberries were fresh, sweet, and delicious! Afnoon is known for its great service at the hotel, so I always go there, but the service was just average.

Afternoon tea with friends after a long time. We spent a relaxing 2 hours on the comfortable sofa seats in a lounge with a great sense of openness. The afternoon tea plate looked very fancy and got us excited! We took a lot of photos. The taste was different from the cute appearance, each item had a mature flavor. It was really delicious♡ It might be the first time I thought scones were delicious at an afternoon tea. The size was just right too. I want to invite my friends again and go back (*^^*)

February is Ritsuko's birthday month, so Candide and I visited together. We made a reservation for the earliest time at 11 am, even though Ritsuko wanted to sleep in a bit on her day off. When we arrived, there were only 2-3 other groups of customers, but it quickly filled up and soon it was almost full. The afternoon tea here is served on a square glass plate with sweets placed flat, not on a stand. The warm scones are served on a separate plate. The staff were all elegant and the service was stress-free. The menu items included: 1) Strawberry and Hazelnut Tart with strawberry cream, 2) Strawberry Salsa, Caviar, and Sour Cream Waffle, 3) Strawberry and Beef Cheek Borscht-style Cake, 4) Strawberry Parfait with a small rosebud that was edible, 5) Strawberry and Pistachio Mousse which was a favorite, 6) Rooibos Tea Mousse which didn't have a strong rooibos flavor, 7) Strawberry and Rose Cake with rose petals on top, 8) Scones - plain and strawberry, served with clotted cream and strawberry jam. The scones were small and crispy, and the clotted cream and jam were just enough. The strawberry scone was like a baked good and tasty on its own. The drinks were served in large cups, and I had five cups, feeling like I got my money's worth. The coffee wasn't to my liking, but the tea was delicious. The highlight was the Elderflower & Chamomile herbal tea at the end, which was incredibly tasty. Overall, the satisfying herbal tea at the end left a good impression.
