I enjoyed the creamy taste of the kelp water and the rich flavor of the duck broth dipping sauce. On 8/31 (37th visit in 2023), I visited to try the limited "Crab creamy hand-kneaded dipping noodles" announced suddenly on the day of the regular holiday. I arrived before 5 pm to avoid the expected crowd at the 3 pm opening. I ordered the "Crab creamy hand-kneaded dipping noodles" (1700 yen) with a "medium size" (100 yen) in soy sauce, and it was delicious. On 8/29 (36th visit in 2023), I ordered the "Duck and truffle creamy cold dipping noodles" (1600 yen) with a "medium size" (100 yen). The toppings included duck chashu, caviar, spinach, concasse tomato, purple onion, shimeji mushrooms, nori, and lemon. The creamy dipping sauce was delicious, whether enjoyed with just kelp water or dipped in the sauce. On 8/22 (35th visit in 2023), as a last meal before the summer break from 8/23 to 8/26, I ordered the "Duck broth hand-kneaded kelp water dipping soba (soy sauce)" (1500 yen) with a "medium size" (100 yen). I was seated inside at 1:05 pm and got my bowl of ramen at 1:20 pm. It's impressive that they are operating with just one person. There is a ramen shop called "Menya Ichiran" just 10 meters away, so I was really torn between the two, but decided to try this one that I haven't been to before. ●●Order●● I ordered the "Special Duck Broth Soy Sauce Ramen" for 1300 yen! ●●Soup●● The duck broth here is surprising, unlike anything I've had in Kansai! It's not relying on sweetness, but you can really taste the duck straight up! You can feel the animalistic quality of the duck strongly (in a good way), so duck lovers will absolutely love it! But if you're not a fan of duck, you might want to pass on this one... ●●Noodles●● The noodles are medium-thin straight noodles. They are smooth on the surface and absorb the soup well, making them delicious. ●●Chashu●● The chashu here is incredibly delicious! It has a strong duck flavor and is incredibly tender, almost melting in your mouth! Thanks to the unfortunate rain, I was able to get in without waiting. I bought the Hand-Rubbed Duck Broth Soba (Salt) with Kombu-Infused Water for ¥1,500, plus a large serving for an extra ¥100 from the ticket machine. I received my bowl in about 15 minutes. The plate of noodles was topped with duck, caviar, dried shrimp, spinach, menma, white negi, nori, and lemon. At the bottom, there was a cold creamy sauce that added to the enjoyment. Squeezing the lemon over the noodles and eating them alone, the creamy sauce's kombu saltiness mixed well with the flat noodles, giving a French cuisine-like experience. When dipped in the broth, the noodles were light and the flavors blended so well that it was hard to tell which was the main flavor. I enjoyed the dipping broth and the cold sauce until the last bite. It was a surprising quality for a tsukemen, and I was impressed. I heard they have limited-time menu items too, so I definitely want to go back.

I checked Tabelog and it said it opens at 10:00, so I decided to go. The board in front of the shop said it opens at 11:00, so I was about to leave, but I waited a bit longer and it opened at 10:00, so I was glad I waited. They had soy sauce, salt, and tsukemen ramen. They might be promoting the soy sauce, but the salt ramen was really delicious. I'm glad I ordered the salt one.

I found the ideal kelp water dipping noodles. I got off at Shinkoiwa and went past the line at Ichitou to find this shop. There was no line at all and I smoothly entered the shop with only 6 seats. I ordered the kelp water dipping noodles with soy sauce without hesitation. The beautiful duck meat and caviar were good, but the fried shrimp added a nice flavor. I ate it all at once and even drank both soups. I ordered the regular size, but I recommend getting the medium size. I found out that they were offering "Creamy Curry Dipping Soba" and "Kombu Water Curry Dipping Soba" as limited-time specials, so I went to try them. Both are unique menu items that can't be found elsewhere. After much deliberation, I chose the creamy option. The curry dipping sauce is delicious even when eaten with rice, so I ordered a small serving of rice on the side. I started by eating just the noodles, then gradually mixed the creamy soup from the noodles with the curry for a mild flavor change. Either way, it was incredibly delicious. In the end, it was simply delicious.

Duck dashi hand-kneaded kelp water-soaked noodles for 1,500 yen. I visited this place after seeing the owner of the popular scallop ramen shop in Akihabara recommend their dipping noodles on YouTube. It apparently takes 20 minutes to make, but they spare no effort in the preparation. Now, onto the taste test. Wow, the kelp water really packs a punch. Are there shrimp in here too? It's flavorful enough on its own. The dipping sauce has a wonderful rich duck flavor. I never really got into duck ramen before, but this is delicious. The flat noodles are chewy. I enjoyed alternating between the kelp water and duck broth, experiencing two different flavors. I definitely want to try their limited edition dipping noodles next time.

I don't usually eat ramen, but I was drawn to the ramen here because it has a lot of toppings. It had green onions, spinach, seasoned egg, duck meat with different textures and flavors, and more. The noodles were also very delicious! They also provide extra broth, so you can adjust the soup's flavor. Thank you for the meal!

It was like enjoying high-quality soba or udon noodles while eating ramen. The tsukemen had smooth noodles soaked in pink kombu water with dried shrimp, giving it a rich yet light taste. I ended up getting a large serving, but finished it all in no time. The broth was flavorful yet not too heavy. Although it's a popular spot, I only had to wait behind three groups on a holiday afternoon, so I'm already considering revisiting for another warm bowl of ramen.

I went to Shin-Koiwa for the first time in a while for some errands, and luckily it was right after opening so I was able to enter without waiting in line! It's rare to not have to wait on a weekend, right...? So I decided to have an early lunch with ramen. I'm not very knowledgeable about ramen, so I'll leave the details to others... haha. Personally, I thought the soup was just right, not too strong, and had a nice flavor. It looked rich but tasted refreshing. The toppings on top were really delicious, especially the duck meat! The green onions were crispy and added a nice accent once I got used to the meat and noodles. I felt like it took a bit long from entering to being served, but seeing such a carefully prepared bowl made me take back my words. Haha. From reading other reviews, the tsukemen looked delicious, so I'd like to go back another time to try it.

I visited for lunch. I chose salt flavor this time as I had soy sauce last time. I don't usually choose salt ramen, but as soon as I took a sip of the soup, I was convinced it was delicious. It was so good that I finished every last drop.

Because of the heat, most people are ordering tsuke soba. I had the "Duck broth hand-kneaded kelp water tsuke soba (soy sauce)" in a medium size. You can dip the noodles in the kelp water and then alternate between dipping them in the soup and adding toppings. It's like an amusement park for your taste buds. It was my first time visiting Noodle Shop Yoshiki in a while, and it did not disappoint at all.

I visited on a weekday night. I suddenly had some free time, so I decided to visit for the first time. It was after 8 pm and there were 2 customers ahead of me. I bought a ticket at the machine and ordered the soy sauce ramen for 900 yen. I waited for about 5 minutes. The duck chashu and grilled leeks were beautifully arranged. Was that foie gras paste on top? It gradually melted into the soup as I ate, adding richness. Even after me, more people continued to come in. The soup had plenty of duck broth and was very delicious. The noodles were thin and straight, with a firm and flavorful bite. The duck chashu had a generous amount of the unique taste and aroma of duck, and was very delicious. I think it's a restaurant worth visiting, even if it's a bit far.

I was planning to finish eating at Menya Itto and go home, but then I found out that there is a restaurant nearby run by someone who used to work at Itto, so since I was already in Shin-Koiwa, I decided to try it out! There were about 3 groups waiting in front of the restaurant since it was still before 12:00, but I only had to wait for about 5 minutes before getting inside! This time, I ordered the simple Duck Dashi Shoyu Ramen. Just the aroma of the duck broth and smoked flavor was already delicious. The shoyu base had a hint of sweetness, and it paired well with the straight noodles! This was my second bowl of ramen today, but I was able to finish it easily. I'm curious to try the salt flavor or tsukemen next time!

I arrived 30 minutes early because Tabelog said they opened at 10 am, but the sign outside said they opened at 11 am, which made me anxious. Thankfully, they opened at 10 am and I was relieved. I had the special duck broth soy sauce ramen. The thick soup paired well with the firm straight noodles and was very delicious. I also wanted to try the seared duck meat and minced duck meat bowl.
