寝屋ログ太郎
Monday at 4:00 PM, no prior reservation. This restaurant is located in a very Kyoto-like area that you would never find if you didn't know about it! We tried a dish called Chadolbagi, which is not very well known in Japan but commonly eaten in Korea! - Chadolbagi ¥1700 per person - Tairagi clam set ¥2600 - Unlimited dashi tamago (egg) ¥550 - Brisket beef cutlet ¥700 - Hamburger ¥700 - Draft beer ¥500 - Shochu highball ¥550 - Oolong tea ¥450 Chadolbagi is like grilled shabu-shabu in Japan! It is cooked on a high central iron pot similar to the one used for Genghis Khan. You can add unlimited dashi tamago to the sides. Then, the thinly sliced brisket, which has been processed into a round shape using a special freezing method involving electromagnetic waves, is placed in the center and grilled. By the way, a few years ago, a certain frozen food from a convenience store significantly improved in taste, probably because they introduced this freezing technology! (Seems expensive) Brisket is part of the beef front belly. It has a moderate marbling but is not too fatty, and it has a rich flavor that spreads with each bite! Since it is fresh Japanese black beef, it is best not to overcook it and just enjoy it as it is. Mmm, it really is as described, not too tough but with a rich flavor that spreads! I spread it too much and became Ryoko Hirosue... Sorry, I tried to be funny even though it wasn't funny. Let's get back to the topic! The special chili pepper floating in the sauce, which looks like a chili pepper but has the texture of a leek, is not spicy and has a crunchy texture. I really like this crunchy texture! You can top it with the Tairagi clam we ordered as an extra or with pickled vegetables, or change the flavor with wasabi... everything is delicious! It's so light that you won't get tired of eating, so you can eat a lot! This is exactly what the restaurant wants, hehehe. This beef cutlet made with brisket and the hamburger were also incredibly delicious. They also offer lunch, so for lunch, you can go for a quick beef cutlet! The Chadolbagi lunch for ¥1500 is also a great deal. The location is like a hidden gem, it looks great, and most importantly, the food is delicious (which is obvious but important). It's definitely worth a visit... Next time, I'll bring my friend to Chan-ne in Gion! Someone, please cover my cabaret club fee...
