Everyone loves Coffee Shop Kizoku Edinburgh. I have loved this place since my first visit. I visited on a Sunday evening and, as expected, it was almost full. It's better to assume that you won't be seated in the smoking area right away. You can wait in the non-smoking area, so it's reassuring. There is also a smoking area available. There is no partition between the smoking and non-smoking areas, but the shop is spacious so you don't feel overwhelmed by smoke. I ordered an Iced Cafe au Lait and a Chocolate Crepe. The Cafe au Lait had whipped cream and a Pocky stick on top, giving it a nostalgic Showa era vibe. The coffee seemed a bit weak or lacking in coffee flavor, I wished it had a bit more of a coffee kick. The whipped cream was not too sweet and didn't really add much to the drink, more like a decoration. The Chocolate Crepe had vanilla ice cream and whipped cream inside, no fruits, just chocolate sauce on top. I wished it had some bananas too... Well, it's convenient that they're open 24 hours and the prices are a bit on the higher side, maybe because of the table charge?
