This hotel restaurant is bustling with inbound tourists. Depending on the day and time, it may be difficult to get in as hotel guests have priority. I visited before 9 am when it was relatively empty. You have to pay upfront at the entrance, so dine and dash is not an option! The lunch set costs 1,980 yen, even for breakfast? And you have to scan the QR code at each table to order? My old smartphone couldn't read it, so I had to order verbally. I had the pulled pork sandwich (half), avocado and lime open sandwich (half), lemonade (iced), and also helped myself to salad, bread, and soup from the buffet. The hotel seems a bit pricey, so I usually stay at capsule hotels in Kyoto. There were many white inbound tourists here, along with Asian guests and oddballs like me. The self-service bar with a variety of options was enjoyable, and the ability to order half portions was a plus. I'm not a fan of New Half reviewers, but I'm relieved they haven't commented lately. A hot coffee would be nice to relax, but I also need to walk off the calories before my lunch reservation at a Japanese restaurant. I haven't been using the expensive subway lately, sticking to my Seishun 18 ticket for cost savings.

What's more, the morning service is available until 2:00 pm, so you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast after visiting a nearby shrine in the morning. The ordered sandwiches, salads, and soups were all delicious! This hotel and morning experience are perfect for solo travelers.

Visited after 9 o'clock. Not only hotel guests but also the general public can use the restaurant. In fact, there may be more non-guests than guests. After ordering, the staff brings bread, sandwiches, and salads, while other items are self-service. They offer potato salad, yogurt, potage soup, minestrone soup, etc. There are several types of coffee, tea, and about 5 cold drinks. Orders are placed through a smartphone. The restaurant is designed like a cafe overseas, making you forget that you are in Kyoto. The seating is spaced out to ensure privacy. During busy times, there is a 45-minute time limit, but we were able to relax and enjoy our time. The soups are of high quality, likely commercial grade, and the sandwiches are served hot with excellent seasoning. The atmosphere and taste were both outstanding.

You can enjoy the breakfast buffet at Sequence when you stay there. You can go for breakfast as many times as you want until 2 pm. It's the best to relax in the room and go eat. The hot sandwiches are served hot and you can order them with your mobile, so no stress. It's smooth. I stay at the hotel just for this breakfast.

Friday 12:10, I went to THE TASTE for lunch and chose the hamburger. I ordered THE TASTE BURGER with FRENCH FRIES for 1,450 yen. The restaurant seemed busy with hotel guests, mostly couples. The atmosphere was lovely and perfect for a change of pace. The lunch prices ranged from 1,000 to 1,600 yen, which felt a bit high, but understandable for a hotel. I enjoyed a hearty burger and fries before heading back to work during my break. Thank you for the meal.

I visited this stylish cafe in the hotel lobby. I ordered the "Scrambled Egg Sandwich" by itself. It was served in about 5 minutes. The scrambled eggs were sandwiched between slices of bread. The bread itself had a crispy texture on the outside, which was very enjoyable.

I was seated at a table by the window facing the street. The happy hour until 8pm was fantastic! I enjoyed lots of draft beer and various cocktails for only 500 yen each. The fish & chips in the photo were delicious and beautifully presented. It was a shame that the burger I wanted was already sold out, but I'll look forward to trying it next time. During a weekday afternoon, I had lunch at this restaurant. About 60% of the seats were occupied, and there were quite a few reserved seats as well. If you're going with 3 or 4 people, it might be better to make a reservation. I ordered the Bolognese lunch (with salad) for 1000 yen. I also added the drink bar (coffee, tea only) for an additional 200 yen. I was surprised by how thin the spaghetti noodles were in the Bolognese, as I usually expect a thicker pasta with Bolognese. However, it surprisingly matched well and tasted delicious. The Bolognese had a good amount of meat but was still light. The portion size was quite generous for the price. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was more relaxed than I had expected from the outside or the website. I spent about an hour reading there. Around 2 o'clock, the staff started cleaning the nearby empty seats, so I took it as a hint to leave. It would have been nice if they had said something to me. Overall, it was a good experience, but that one thing was a bit disappointing.

The restaurant is spacious and quiet since it's connected to a hotel, making it a relaxing place to dine. They also have Wi-Fi, making it very cozy.

During the Yoiyama period, yamaboko floats that are about to participate in the procession are set up in various locations. I stayed at "sequence KYOTO GOJO" in Gojo, a stylish and fashionable hotel with guest rooms designed in black and white for a relaxing time. I was able to refresh myself in the large public bath. The restaurant "THE TASTE" on the first floor has a variety of comfortable seating options. From 7:00 to 25:00, you can enjoy bar food and drinks tailored to the time period. Guests can enjoy a free meal from 7:00 to 14:00 (last order at 13:30), which was a great deal. You can order from a QR code at your table, including 4 types of sandwiches, salad, soft serve ice cream made with Miyama milk, homemade lemonade, and more. The sandwiches are delicious, and the soft serve ice cream and lemonade are also tasty. The half-buffet has a limited selection, but the drinks, soup, cakes, and fruits were all very delicious. I especially liked the soup. With a checkout time of 14:00, I was able to fully enjoy my hotel stay.

I made a reservation through Tabelog and used it for lunch. The interior of the restaurant is very stylish with dinosaurs, and the atmosphere is calm, so I ended up staying for a long time. I had the Pork Over Rice, and the piece of meat was very large and satisfying to eat. The sauce on top was delicious and paired perfectly with the meat! The dessert menu is also extensive, so please come and try it out!

When I visited after a year, due to the reverse effects of the pandemic, it had switched to a half-buffet style and even with more staff, the service felt a bit slow. The variety of dishes also decreased slightly, and inexperienced staff members obstructed the buffet flow. However, the deliciousness of the lemonade and pulled pork sandwich remained unchanged.

On this occasion, I enjoyed the Lounge Time (¥1,320) available until the end of June. Between 2 PM and 7 PM, you can indulge in light snacks.
