I always feel like eating it occasionally. When I come to Hirakata, the possibility of having Ichiran for lunch is quite high for me. I had a proper breakfast this morning, so I wasn't that hungry, but I ended up finishing the ramen in no time after taking a sip of the soup. Of course, I drank up all the soup. The ramen that never gets boring no matter how many times I have it. I'll be in Tokyo tomorrow, but I'm thinking of having Ichiran for dinner while leaving this review on Tabelog. Thank you for the meal.

Tonkotsu ramen is delicious and gentle without any unpleasant smell⭐️ The staff are well educated and the experience is great⭐️ The price of ¥980 for a bowl of ramen may be a bit high, but they are open until around 3:00 in the morning, so I would like to try it late at night⭐️ You buy a ticket at the entrance, where there are two ticket machines⭐️

It had been a while since I last went to Ichiran. This time, a friend sent me a gift voucher for Ichiran ramen and an extra noodle refill ticket through LINE. I also ordered a boiled egg as an additional topping. It was around 9 pm but there were quite a few customers and we didn't have to wait long. Ichiran is still delicious. The tonkotsu broth is the best. The thin noodles made it easy to finish the extra noodle refill. I left feeling full and satisfied.

The roasted pork is sweet and goes well with rice. It's the richest and spiciest, with the noodles being very soft and delicious. There were many families because of the kids' ramen coupon. It's been a while. There are only about three stores in Kyoto. The cost performance is not great, but the taste is consistent.

Despite being a tonkotsu broth, the soup is light and loved by everyone. The original blend of noodles allows you to choose the firmness, and they go really well with the soup. The original "red secret sauce," made from a base of chili pepper and over 30 ingredients, adds depth to the soup!

Ramen, rice, and chashu for around 1,500 yen. Visited on 3/18, parking available. Located at the back of the store. Visited here for the last ramen of 2023. The excitement I felt when I first had ramen in Hakata over 20 years ago is unforgettable. It was delicious as always.

I visited Ichiran for the first time in a while. It was a Friday and there was a little bit of a line. I added eggs and chashu to my order. The tonkotsu soup with thin noodles was delicious. Of course, I ordered an extra serving of noodles. I would like to go back to eat there again sometime.

Ichiran Kyoto Yahata store is a natural tonkotsu ramen specialty shop where you can choose the "secret sauce" from 0 to 10 times the regular amount. The basic menu includes ramen only, with options for extra noodles at 210 yen per serving or half serving at 150 yen. You can adjust the flavor intensity, richness, garlic, green onions, chashu, secret sauce, and noodle firmness by writing on the paper provided at the table. The payment is done through a ticket system, accepting bills from 1000 yen to 10,000 yen. In addition to counter seats, there are also table seats available. Tissues are located next to the cold water dispenser or on the walls. The restaurant is non-smoking, and there are multiple parking spaces available next to the store. In April 2022, the reviewer revisited and ordered ramen for 890 yen with an extra noodle serving for 210 yen. The flavor was described as basic, richness as very rich, garlic as one clove, green onions as included, chashu as present, secret sauce at 10 times the regular amount, and noodle firmness as basic. The reviewer found the soup delicious and ended up adding an extra noodle serving.

I came to Ichiran for the first time. The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite nice. This is the rumored flavor concentration counter. I tried increasing the spiciness by 10 times. The taste was decent with a strong pork bone flavor. The noodles were thin. I felt like the amount of noodles was small. Maybe it's a strategy to get customers to order extra noodles? I did order extra noodles.

I chose the thick and spicy option with half garlic and firm noodles, and added an extra serving of noodles. The rice was a nice touch and added to the addictive flavor. The noodles had a good flavor and the more you chew, the more delicious it gets. It's not satisfying without the extra noodles. Eating the soup with rice creates a whole new taste experience. The parking lot is spacious and convenient for large vehicles, which is great for truck drivers. The restroom is also well-maintained with plenty of toilet paper available. It's a place I would want to visit regularly if it's in the neighborhood.

Today's choice is here. A suburban branch of Ichiran. Located along Route 2 with a spacious parking lot and a large interior. Ichiran is known for its branches in Fukuoka Tenjin, although I'm not sure about now, but the image of Ichiran is a small, automatic greeting upon entering the store. It may be more of a memory. There are pocket tissues stuck to the wall behind the counter. Personally, I think that Ichiran is about enjoying the atmosphere rather than the taste.

I headed to Ichiran in Kyoto Hachiman to confirm some insider tips. ① Double Attack with Green Onions and White Onions: I've been doing this since my mentor taught me. This time, I circled it in the middle of the order sheet. ② Secret Sauce Attack: A technique where you can add secret sauce for free when ordering a refill. ③ Double Dashi Attack: A technique to enjoy a rich refill with double the dashi. If there was a Silent Sheet, I would have written it there, but I couldn't find it. Strange, I thought it was there before. So, I wrote it on the request sheet and ordered a refill. The chime rang, the staff raised the curtain, and I confirmed the refill plate. Then, their movements suddenly stopped... Uh oh, is something wrong? They started moving again and picked up the request sheet. Phew... They seemed to be thinking for a moment... Heart pounding... "Did you want the secret sauce doubled?" Phew, yes please... Please wait a moment. (Yes, success!) Celebrating silently in my heart. Finally, they raised the curtain and said, "Sorry for the wait!" The refill arrived normally. I asked them to put the refill in the bowl, and they did. Then, they poured the secret sauce on top of it. Wow, it's covered in a lot of secret sauce! I couldn't really tell about the dashi, but I think it was richer. So, I successfully tried all three insider tips! I couldn't focus on the taste at all because I wasn't silent with the staff (laughs). #KyotoHachiman #Ichiran #RamenLover

I went there for the first time and found the food very easy to eat. The portion size is just right for women, but men might find it a bit lacking unless they plan on getting an extra serving. The menu is simple and doesn't have many side dishes. The restaurant is small and there isn't much interaction with the staff, which I think is perfect for the current situation!

I visited Ichiran Kyoto Hachiman store. It is a chain of tonkotsu ramen restaurants, along with Zundouya and Ippudo. In my opinion, Zundouya is better than Ichiran and Ippudo. The ramen at Ichiran has a refined soup with thin noodles, making it a classy tonkotsu ramen. It goes well with rice. The only downside is the limited third menu options, with only things like extra chashu available. They do have fried chicken, but overall, Zundouya has a more bold and punchy flavor. However, the ramen at Ichiran is delicious, so I will visit occasionally. Thank you for the meal.

Around 10:50 AM, I took a paid day off for my regular hospital visit. I went to the hospital first thing in the morning, then headed to a bank branch in Sōba to close my account from a subsidiary company I used to work for before the pandemic. I visited "Ichiran" for the first time for an early lunch. Surprisingly, the parking lot was empty even though it was just before noon. Is the restaurant really open? Perhaps it's due to the impact of the coronavirus. I purchased a meal ticket at the entrance. No staff came to guide me, so I just chose a seat on my own. Each counter seat had dividers on the left and right, providing individualized spaces. It's like a system ahead of its time for "coronavirus" precautions! There was some sort of survey paper at each seat, asking about noodle firmness, types of green onions, presence of chashu, etc. It was quite a hassle to fill out. After pressing a button, a staff member finally appeared behind the lowered curtain in front of my seat. Finally, I could place my order on paper. The food was served quickly since it was early and not crowded. First, I tried the soup. It was decent, with a slightly spicier taste than I expected when I ordered it as normal spiciness. It's a chain restaurant taste, without any distinctiveness, suitable for everyone. Next, I tried the noodles. They had a good texture and a hint of sweetness, and they were enjoyable. The noodles were well-made. They were delicious. It's just that they seemed a bit too much like a "model student" with no standout feature or punch. But overall, it was tasty. It was a satisfying meal. Thank you for the meal.

I went on Friday at 9:00 PM and was able to sit without waiting in line. The way the staff talked gave off a strong sense of professionalism, it didn't feel like a typical ramen shop, haha. The staff would bring out the ramen without interacting much, just lifting the curtain when serving. There are partitions between the seats, so even though it's a counter seat, you don't have to worry about the person next to you.

Ramen specialty restaurant "Ichiran" in Kyoto Yawata store. The basic menu includes ramen only, with the option to add an extra serving of noodles for 210 yen or half a serving for 150 yen. You can adjust the richness of the flavor, the thickness of the broth, the amount of garlic, the amount of green onions, the presence of chashu pork, the secret sauce, and the firmness of the noodles. Orders are placed by filling out a paper at the table and handing it to the staff. They accept cash from 1,000 yen to 10,000 yen. There are counter seats and table seats available. Tissues are located next to the cold water dispenser or on the walls. The restaurant is non-smoking and has multiple parking spaces next to the store. Initial visit in October 2020, ordered the ramen for 890 yen with the following customizations: flavor: basic, richness: extra rich, garlic: 1 clove, green onions: yes, chashu pork: present, secret sauce: 5 times, noodle firmness: basic. Overall, not a preference in many aspects.

I enjoyed my meal today as well. Today is Monday, May 18, 2020. I didn't want to cross the border too much, but with some relaxation of self-restraint related to the new coronavirus, I stopped by while delivering groceries to my partner's parents. It was a little past 12:30 PM. The counter seats here were cleverly arranged to avoid close contact. The taste was well, it was the usual deliciousness.

I usually have ramen in Ichijoji, which is known as a ramen battleground, so I don't go to other shops much, but this one was really delicious! It's like Hakata ramen, right? It's a type that you don't find in Ichijoji, so it felt new to me after a long time. I like it on the richer side, so I ordered mine with rich soup and firm noodles, and it was great. It may feel like a smaller portion compared to Ichijoji, but I think it's a normal amount! The ramen is ¥890, and you can add a half portion for ¥150. I got mine with level 3 spiciness. The sauce was just a little spicy – for people who can lick the tip of a toothpick dipped in hot sauce and say "oh, it's spicy," it was just right. At Ichiran, you don't have any interaction with the staff, and the dining tables are separated by dividers, so you only make eye contact with other customers at the entrance and exit. Furthermore, there is a seating chart on the bulletin board at the entrance, and the lamps at the tables indicate which ones are in use. It might seem a bit strange to newcomers, but the dividers can be folded, so if the person next to you is dining alone, you can fold the divider and greet them. You can't open the door from your side. This time, I was treated by my junior colleague, so next time, I'll treat them.

For lunch, I visited Ichiran for the first time. It was a bit confusing to navigate the system by myself, but my partner helped me figure it out. I pretty much followed their recommendations, but I asked for the noodles to be firm and the spiciness to be normal. It turned out to be quite spicy and I made a little mistake.
