A visit after a year and a half. The high-end bread boom is over, and many shops are closing, but this place is still hanging in there. The long lines that used to be common, with waits of up to an hour, are now gone, and you can buy anytime. I bought some after a long time.
- Square loaf (1,080 yen) Hmm, the price went up. It used to be 864 yen at first (lol). The taste is still the same. The well-balanced sweetness is excellent. Sometimes, indulging in luxury is nice.

I ordered a shrimp fry sandwich to go. There is always a long line when I pass by, whether to buy bread or eat at the restaurant, so it's always difficult. Today, there was no line, so I could go into the restaurant right away, which was lucky. I like rice, but I also love sandwiches. However, I thought the bread was a bit overcooked. Thank you for the meal.

This place is a classic, right? The true deliciousness of the toast stands out, from the wheat to everything, the flavor and taste are really delicious. Going to Ginza in the morning, the tonkatsu sandwich is usually just okay, but the omelette, French toast, and cheese toast are really delicious.

"On a holiday, I visited 'Central The Bakery,' a bakery known for its delicious bread, after having a lunch of 'grilled chicken rice bowl' and taking a stroll towards Ginza-itchome area. The bakery is part of the 'Top 100 Bread Shops' list and offers tasty square bread. The nearest stations are Ginza-itchome Station and Yurakucho Station, both about a 5-minute walk away. I visited on a Tuesday around 12:50 pm and there were only a few customers at that time, but the line grew to over 10 people later. I purchased a 'square bread (1080 yen tax included)' which was very moist and fluffy. The bread is quite large, a whole loaf, so you may consider freezing it if it's too much for a two-person household. I froze a quarter of it and was amazed by how fluffy and delicious it was when I tried it later. Whether with jam or butter, the bread was truly delicious. It's worth the price considering the quality. I recommend visiting this bakery in Yurakucho for some high-quality bread."

<9.25-10.21 Small solo exhibition at Vivienne> On 9.18, a story of discovering gourmet food from the Sunday refugee. The weather was great on the last day of the 3-day weekend, and by 12:00, everywhere was crowded and hard to get into. However, as I was walking down Sakura Street, I noticed that Saint Ruz Bakery had no line, so I went in. It was a relief to get a big box. There were many people, but the service was quick, and I managed to secure a table in the center of the shop without waiting. I usually go for fruit sandwiches or cutlet sandwiches, but this time I decided to try something more ordinary. I chose a potato salad sandwich with avocado topping. While waiting, the shop started to fill up gradually. About 30% of the customers were foreigners, and the rest seemed to be locals having Sunday lunch in Ginza. The sandwich arrived quickly and had a beautiful cross-section. The avocado topping looked amazing, and the portion was much larger than expected (it seemed like a whole avocado was used in each sandwich). The taste matched the high expectations from the appearance. The potato salad with a hint of mayo was rich and the bacon added a meaty flavor that was of high quality. Putting this potato salad between the slices of bread was definitely a good choice. The ripe and creamy avocado enhanced the flavors even more. It was delicious and a great way to get unsaturated fatty acids and vitamin E. It was a surprising find and a satisfying lunch. These kinds of days keep me motivated. Thank you for the meal. My second trip was a day trip to Takachiho Gorge ✈️ I left Higashi-Ginza at 5:16 and took the Asakusa Line to go. I safely arrived at Takachiho Bus Terminal at 12:19. The chicken nanban restaurant I wanted to visit was closed, and there were unexpected things on-site, but as a lover of columnar jointing, I was happy to add to my collection after visiting Tojinbo last summer. I also experienced unexpected things like the original somen-nagashi experience and the new Kumamoto Airport experience (last year's temporary airport was disappointing). Going there and experiencing things that were not planned is always a win. On the way back, I had a local taxi reserved for 2 hours to Kumamoto Airport. The driver and I brainstormed about another business opportunity in Takachiho Gorge. After the pandemic, there has been an increase in European visitors. Furthermore, with TSMC's new 1 trillion yen factory in Kumamoto, elites from all over the world are coming and going. How can we attract these new people to the central part of Kyushu and provide them with smooth services? (There were some missed opportunities due to capacity overload). With abundant mythology and night Kagura performances... it seems like something new is about to be born. Tomorrow, where shall we go? <Small solo exhibition at bar Yuyunagi until 9.23>

This was the best bread specialty store I have ever been to! The bread here has an amazing wheat aroma that lingers even after you take it home. The square loaf costs 1,100 yen. On the day of purchase, I enjoyed it as is without toasting, savoring the wheat aroma and the moist, chewy texture. This is the most delicious bread I have ever had. On the third day, I spread coconut oil on it and toasted it, and it was still incredibly delicious! While it is recommended to eat the square loaf as is without toasting, it is also amazing when toasted - crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside, with a unique and addictive flavor. I will definitely visit again.

I visited the store on Saturday when it opened. There were about 5 groups waiting in line. I bought a square loaf of bread to go. The crust was crispy and the inside was fluffy, and it was delicious even without any seasoning. It was firm, so it held up well as French toast and the flavor soaked in nicely, making it delicious. I felt that it's nice to treat yourself to a high-quality loaf of bread once in a while. I also want to try using it at the cafe next time.

Around 1 o'clock, I happened to pass by. The staff member was holding a sign and told me they only had corner bread rolls. I still bought one! When I entered the shop, there was a nice aroma! The cafe next door was crowded. It's worth trying at least once. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it, but I'll check if I can get some when I'm nearby or passing by.

I had always wanted to try this bread because I had a delicious beef cutlet sandwich made with it at a yakiniku restaurant where the staff grilled the meat for you. I had known about this bread for a while, but I always passed by because there was always a long line. Basically, it's a high-end bread. However, unlike many other high-end bread brands that have gone out of business, this place always has a line. Today, I happened to pass by the area for work, so I decided to check it out. I was prepared to give up if there was a long line, but surprisingly, there was no one waiting to buy the bread or at the cafe. Maybe it's because of the Obon holiday. I thought that on holidays, people would come from far away to buy it, but it doesn't seem to be the case. And the bread was delicious. It was very light and even the crust was tasty. I'll definitely buy it again if there's no line.

I tried the British bread priced at 972 yen. The shop only sells bread. There were 3 types available, but I bought the British bread, cut it, baked it, and then ate it. The outside was crispy and the inside was fluffy, it was very delicious.

I had the limited-time revival "Ham Steak Sandwich"! This sandwich is incredibly delicious. The thick ham steak with 2 slices provides a satisfying bite, yet it is tender and doesn't overpower the bread. The perfect amount of saltiness, with mustard adding a nice touch, and the wheat aroma of the bread all balance out well and make it enjoyable to eat! The homemade potato chips are also delicious. The sliced ham and the crust of the bread are great. The bread crust really lets you appreciate the delicious bread. You can choose to bake it in the oven, but I decided to enjoy it as it is. The ham trimmings also have a nice chewy texture and are delicious. I enjoyed it until the very end. Thank you for the meal!

During a weekday lunchtime visit, I was able to enter the restaurant without waiting in line. I had the French toast for ¥1,760, and you could choose between topping it with ice cream or whipped cream. It was served hot and was absolutely delicious! Personally, I think it's even better without any toppings. The portion was generous, and I felt that half of it was just the right amount. If you go with another person, sharing a meal-sized sandwich and splitting the French toast would be a good idea to enjoy without getting tired of it.

I visited for lunch. I had bought bread from here before, but it was my first time using the cafe. I ordered an egg sandwich and a tuna sandwich. Both sandwiches had soft and delicious bread. They also provided the crust separately and I could toast it myself using the toaster in the cafe. The toasted crust was also delicious.

I wanted to eat a fruit sandwich, so I made a reservation and picked it up. But then I couldn't resist buying some bread too. The fruit sandwich was delicious with the sweetness of the fruits and tasty cream, but most of all, the bread was amazing. I will definitely order again. Now I'm looking forward to enjoying the bread. It's soft and fluffy yet has a nice firmness, with a perfect texture and taste. It's a delight to have it every day.

I finally visited a bakery in Ginza that I had been curious about for a while. Centr The Bakery. There was usually a long line, so I had given up on waiting, but this time there weren't many people, so I took the chance and lined up! I got what I was looking for, and it was incredibly fluffy and delicious. Please give it a try!

Located just a 1-minute walk from Ginza-itchome Station, "Centro The Bakery" is a bakery shop established in 2013. I visited on a weekend evening and carefully considered the takeout menu. Among the options was a 10,000 yen pork cutlet sandwich that takes an hour to make. I asked for something that could be ready quickly, and ended up ordering the following items:
- Egg sandwich
- Tuna sandwich
Both sandwiches came with potato chips, which added to the enjoyment. The sandwiches had soft and chewy bread, with simple yet well-balanced fillings. The bite-sized portions were a nice touch. Personally, I really enjoyed the egg sandwich. The thick-cut potato chips were delicious as well. The atmosphere in the shop was great, and the staff were wonderful. If this bakery was closer to my home, I would definitely become a regular customer. Next time, I'd like to try their dine-in options. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

I bought this bread as a souvenir from Tokyo and it tasted delicious. However, after eating just one slice, I couldn't stop burping. Maybe it was fermenting in my stomach (lol). The person who gave me the souvenir also said their stomach felt bloated and hurt. I won't be buying it again.

I asked a gourmet friend for a good restaurant in Tokyo and they recommended this place. Even though it was around 12 pm on a weekend, we were seated right away without a reservation. The place is known for its delicious bread, and other customers were ordering butter toast or French toast. I thought about trying those since it was my first time, but I decided to stick with my friend's recommendation and ordered the Clubhouse sandwich. It was incredibly filling with chicken, eggs, and more. I was expecting it to be more like a BLT sandwich, but it was still delicious. Next time, I might go for a toast dish to better appreciate the bread. Thank you for the meal.

I had been interested in this bakery known for its top 100 breads for a while, but never had the chance to visit. I happened to be in Ginza and decided to buy bread for the next day, so I went to this bakery. There was no line before 5 o'clock on Saturday, but they only had square bread left. I tried it the next day and it was really delicious, just like the reviews on Tabelog said. It was rich and moist inside, perfect for a relaxing morning. I will definitely go back!

I had a fluffy egg sandwich. It's simple but looks beautiful and special. I'm happy that they also give you the cut-off bread crust on the side. It's a win-win situation as it prevents food waste and tastes delicious. You can also toast the crust in the toaster provided in the shop, but it's already tasty as it is. It's even better when paired with the "soup of the day".
