Hello, this is Masatora (^^) It's my first day on a business trip, so I decided to fuel up with some yakiniku, even though it has nothing to do with Kyoto. By the way, Kyoto has the highest consumption of beef in Japan. Today, we want to contribute to being the best in Japan by eating heartily at "Yakiniku-an Chou Kyoto Ekimae Store" (^ν^) It's located about a 10-minute walk from Kyoto Station. I walked from the hotel, enjoying the view of Kyoto's scenery, with many old buildings giving a sense of Japan here and there. The exterior of the restaurant is stylish, with a Japanese-inspired design that fits well with the atmosphere of Kyoto. This time, I chose the classic course with all-you-can-drink for ¥6500. It's been a while since I drank, so I wanted to go all out with the all-you-can-drink option. The course includes today's salad, kimchi assortment, two rare cuts of black wagyu beef, black beef, lean wagyu, marbled kalbi, three types of hormone assortment, fluffy and creamy rice soup, and dessert (cold noodles). It's a great deal with all-you-can-drink, and I'm happy about it. I also want to check out Tabelog and Hot Pepper Gourmet. They sometimes have coupons, so I always make sure to check before going. For example, this time there was a one-drink service coupon. I arrived early and used the coupon while waiting for my colleagues. If there are six or more people, there are benefits like a free bottle of wine or a birthday plate for birthdays, so it's worth checking out. While waiting and enjoying the service drink, everyone arrived, and we started the course. First, we had today's salad, which my colleagues served. It was a refreshing salad with salted kelp. The kimchi assortment had three types, which was a nice appetizer. I like to nibble on it until the end. Then the meat arrived. They were all delicious, but everyone loves kalbi. The tongue, lean meat, and thigh were also great ^_^ By the time the three types of hormone arrived, I was starting to get full. Yakiniku is really the best! And with all-you-can-drink, I was getting quite drunk. The rice soup at the end was a finishing blow to my stomach, but it was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating. Finally, I settled my stomach with the cold noodles. I'm not sure if it calmed my stomach, but I love eating cold noodles with vinegar, and it's the best way to end a yakiniku meal. I was so excited for my first yakiniku in a long time, and I ate to my heart's content. And with the all-you-can-drink option, I drank until I was completely drunk. The meat was delicious, the service was attentive, and I really appreciate them choosing a place where we haven't been able to go due to COVID. I'm really grateful for that. It's nice to hear that they appreciate us coming all the way to tell them. When you're in Kyoto and craving yakiniku, be sure to visit this place. Well then.
