It was the weekend, so it wasn't too crowded but we were able to get a table. The atmosphere was calm and we had plenty of space. It was nice not to have a lot of noise and we could relax. We ordered pasta and pizza, and they were served quickly. Both dishes were delicious and freshly made. The prices were a bit on the higher side though.

I went there~ I'm sorry. I couldn't eat much because I ate too much in the morning. Really disappointing. It was so delicious. I recommend the pizza and spaghetti. The service staff were all handsome and spoke English fluently. So cool~ The cold corn soup was made with soy milk.

I made a reservation for a table at night. There were about 80% of tourists from overseas, creating a lively atmosphere. The staff were busy but still managed to provide good service. We started with a toast with beer, lemon sauce carpaccio, and fries. The basil tartar sauce was also good. Next, we ordered the Milanese-style cutlet, which paired perfectly with balsamic sauce! We also ordered salt-flavored skewers of chicken thigh and meatballs. The meatballs were crispy on the outside, fragrant with basil, and juicy. We also had a glass of sparkling wine, prosciutto and arugula pizza, and carbonara. The pizza had a delicious crust that was easy to eat. We changed the carbonara to fresh pasta, which was chewy and not too heavy on the sauce. I will definitely visit this restaurant again, but reservations are a must.

I was looking for somewhere to make a same-day reservation and was able to use this place~! They have a wide variety of drinks and a lot of menu options, so I had a hard time deciding. The service was also great✨ Personally, I think the strawberry and kale salad that is only available for a limited time could use a bit more flavor~ I love balsamic vinegar, so I wished it had more of that.. The pizza had a unique taste that I haven't had before, so it was really refreshing! The atmosphere is very nice, so next time I want to bring my boyfriend and use the terrace sofa seats where we can overlook the river♡

I have memories of coming here a few times when I was a student, but it had been a while since my last visit, so I decided to have lunch here ☻♬
▪️
The pizza with kettle-cooked whitebait and cherry shrimp was larger than I had imagined, and just that alone seemed enough to fill me up☻ The whitebait and cherry shrimp did a great job and were delicious◎ I was worried about the intensity of the tomatoes, but they were just right◎
▪️
The homemade pancetta and seasonal vegetable salsa verde fresh pasta tagliolini was a pasta that seemed like Genovese, with all these katakana I couldn't tell what kind of pasta it was, but it tasted like Genovese☻ I'm not a big fan of fresh pasta with flat noodles, but this one wasn't too thick and was easy to eat, which was great◎
▪️
The Caesar salad with seared bacon and rich egg was also much more substantial than I had expected∑(゚Д゚) But it was so delicious that I finished it in no time, the bacon was thick and satisfying, and there was plenty of lettuce◎
It had been a while, but everything was delicious and satisfying◎ There were other menu items that caught my eye, and it seems like they also have a buffet, so I would like to come back to eat again☻♬

Salvatore in Sanko-mokucho. I've been here many times, but the cherry blossom season is still the best. I checked the full bloom forecast online this year, but it seems to be a few days early. Still, these cherry blossoms are amazing. There are terrace seats here, but it's cold this time of year, so I recommend choosing indoor seating for nighttime cherry blossom viewing. As for food recommendations, I often add an extra pizza to the cheapest course. When the course is slightly higher, they offer affordable beef dishes. To make it even better, I recommend adding a drink all-you-can option and including a Quattro Formaggi pizza. While it's great for dates, I think going in a group to try different pizzas is also a good idea. Lastly, when it gets a bit warmer and the greenery is dazzling, the terrace is great for both daytime and nighttime dining!

The restaurant is located along the Takase River, and we made a reservation for a terrace seat to enjoy cherry blossom viewing at the end of March. We ordered the SALVATORE course for ¥5,500 with free drinks included, and also added our favorite pizza DOC. The terrace seats are separated from the indoor area by glass, and the staff are quick to respond when you raise your hand, so you don't have to shout. It was slightly chilly due to light rain, but they provided blankets which made it cozy. There are also electric heaters available. We had a great time enjoying cherry blossom viewing with our family.

I love the restaurant @salvatore_kyoto in Sanjo, Kyoto and I often visit it. I had delicious pizza there. The d.o.c pizza for ¥2,800 with cherry tomatoes, basil, mozzarella, and Grana Padano was amazing. The cherry tomatoes had a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity, and they paired well with the basil and cheese. This pizza won the top prize at the Naples Pizza World Competition, so you must try it at least once. It's incredibly delicious. The sparkling wine also goes well with it. The 4 Cheese Pizza for ¥2,500 is a cheese lover's dream with gooey cheese and honey on top. The charcoal-grilled Gunma Prefecture Joshu beef for ¥2,800 was also delicious. The ripe tomato and basil water buffalo mozzarella pasta for ¥1,800 was delightful. I enjoyed a leisurely dinner while overlooking the Takase River. It's a wonderful place to spend a lovely time, so I recommend visiting this restaurant when you're in Kyoto. It's also beautiful when the cherry blossoms start blooming.

The terrace seats along the Takase River are highly recommended over the indoor seating. The seating is perfect, with the possibility of delivery being the only downside. The meat assortment was delicious, with both beef and pork melting in your mouth, and the chicken was flavorful and generous in portion. The wine selection was also quite good.

Buffet use. Although not as abundant as a hotel buffet, there are 3-4 types of freshly baked pizzas, 3 types of pasta with different sauces, 5-6 types of antipasti, customizable salads, fondue & mousse, cakes, fruit cocktails, etc. The pasta sauces were particularly well made and delicious. At 2800 yen for 90 minutes, many people would be satisfied with this content.

I went to Salvatore Cuomo along the Takase River. I was dining on the terrace by the river, but when rain was expected, the staff kindly moved us inside the restaurant. It was a thoughtful gesture. Of course, the food was also delicious. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Located along the Takase River in Sanjo, Kyoto, this casual Italian restaurant, "PIZZA SALVATORE CUOMO & GRILL Kyoto," offers terrace seating with a roof to keep you dry even on rainy days. The menu includes dishes like Fresh Tomato and Basil Spaghetti for 1,500 yen, as well as drinks like Iced Caffe Latte. The outdoor seating was perfect for enjoying the cool weather, and my dining companion was thoroughly impressed with the pasta. The restaurant also offers a lunch buffet with a variety of options for 2,800 yen. The restaurant was almost full, indicating its popularity. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience!

Today is Saturday, May 21, 2022. I visited an exhibition where my partner's brother was showcasing his work. While waiting for my turn at the exhibition, I had some free time and decided to have a tea time at a cafe located just a minute away from the gallery. The cafe was full of people, but luckily there was space for me. The cafe is located by the Katsura River, and they also have outdoor tables, although they were all occupied. I ordered a cafe latte, a black coffee, and a delicious pizza. The pizza was so good that I couldn't stop eating it. The cafe latte was also beautifully designed with a heart shape on top. It was a delightful experience.

I visited in search of delicious pasta and pizza in Kyoto. I made a reservation through the website and arrived at 5:30 pm. I ordered a Caesar salad, pizza with whitebait and sakura shrimp, and spaghetti with fresh tomatoes and basil. However, even after 30 minutes of ordering, our food had not arrived. The couple who sat down after me received their Caesar salad before us. When I asked the staff if our salad order had been placed, they only responded with "I will check." I asked another staff member, but the response was still vague. Since it was taking too long, we decided to cancel the Caesar salad. The pizza and pasta were delicious, but it was disappointing that the staff did not seem to have a clear grasp of all the orders at each table. It left a bit of a bad impression.

Terrace seating, a relaxing atmosphere where you can forget about time, not a buffet, so you can unwind and enjoy. All the dishes are delicious, highly recommend the mussels. Generous portions, tasty prosciutto, and chewy pizza. The creamy bagna cauda is a bit oily. I would love to come back for a date next time.

Probably, this time of year is the busiest for Salvatore-san at Sanjo. With the Kamo River in front of you and cherry blossoms in full bloom, it's a great atmosphere. The terrace seats might have a higher charge during this season, but nighttime cherry blossoms are cold! Definitely cold! So, sitting indoors by the window with a view of the cherry blossoms is the best. Plus, nowadays, with the need for ventilation, the doors to the terrace seats in the middle of the restaurant are left wide open. So, being a bit away from there is the best. If you manage to get a seat in this area, your cherry blossom dinner will be fantastic. The pizza and pasta taste even better than usual. There's sparkling wine starting from under 3000 yen, so I highly recommend getting a bottle. In conclusion, if you want to enjoy cherry blossoms on the terrace, go for lunchtime. If you want to enjoy them at night, sit by the window, away from the terrace walkway. By the way, from mid-May to early June, the terrace is enjoyable, so having a drink outside while enjoying the fresh greenery during this time is also great.

I made a reservation for a terrace seat. The atmosphere is very nice. The food was delicious. The staff is also very kind. The course meal with all-you-can-drink was ¥6,000. The yakitori that came as a bonus was even more delicious than any yakitori place I've been to before. (This place is an Italian restaurant, right?? It's so delicious that I thought it was a yakitori place!) The world's best pizza and pasta are also incredibly delicious. If I could make one request for the course meal, I would like coffee with dessert. It's a bit disappointing that coffee is charged separately even though I opted for all-you-can-drink. Overall, this is a restaurant I would definitely visit if it were near my home. Great value for money! I will definitely stop by again when I go sightseeing in Kyoto.

One of the important factors for a restaurant is its location, and this place is really great. You can confidently bring people here. The terrace seating is lovely, especially during the cherry blossom season. The food, like the pizza course we had, allows you to enjoy two different flavors. The pasta is above average, and the grilled chicken was also well-seasoned. It's reassuring when a casual dinner spot serves pork or chicken as the main dishes, rather than beef, which can often be disappointing. The taste was also not bad. The only downside was that I had planned to have alcohol next time, but they were out of San Pellegrino. It's healthy, but sad. Corona has caused some trouble!

Lunch buffet for 2300 yen for 90 minutes. The salad was delicious - they had a variety of dressings, and I particularly liked the balsamic dressing and the bagna cauda. The pizza was also tasty. The location by the Takase River was great, and they had a nice terrace (though we ate indoors due to the weather). Overall, the location, taste, and the staff's attitude were all great! The desserts, especially the matcha gateau chocolat and the strawberry fondue, were delicious. I was so full!

In the city of Kyoto, many shops have voluntarily suspended their night operations. However, Salvatore in Sanjo is still open. When I arrived, everyone was enjoying non-alcoholic beer on the terrace. It looked fun. So, even though I've been here many times, it was my first time sitting on the terrace. It was a bit hot, but when a breeze came, it felt really refreshing. I ordered the Marinara pizza, which doesn't have cheese, but the acidity was just right and it paired well with the beer, even though it was non-alcoholic today. The freshly baked pizza was really delicious. Enjoying a delicious pizza in a lovely seat, I am satisfied. Next time, I'll toast with a real beer.
