I love creamy pasta dishes, so I chose the cream pasta with large shrimp and lobster sauce, made with Hiroshima-grown fresh oysters and mozzarella cheese, and fresh tomatoes. The chewy pasta is a must-try, as it becomes addictive after just one bite. Both dishes have rich and unique sauces that enhance the flavors of the ingredients. You can also choose your own toppings, which is a nice touch. During lunchtime, there are great options available, including drinks, soup, salad, and dessert. The clam chowder, bread, and sweets were all incredibly delicious. The staff's hospitality was exceptional, with thoughtful touches like hot towels, aprons, and perfect timing for tea service. This pasta restaurant in Kyoto is a favorite of ours whenever we visit.

It was amazing! The restaurant is renovated from an old traditional Kyoto townhouse, and the atmosphere is wonderful! This time, I tried the ice-cold pasta that I had been curious about for a while. It was my first time trying cold pasta and it was incredibly delicious! The pasta was super cold at -20°C, and the moment I put it in my mouth, the chilly sensation was very pleasant. The pasta had a firm texture but was also chewy, creating a great combination of texture and coldness. The tomatoes were very sweet, but they matched the pasta perfectly! The Genovese sauce also complemented the sweetness of the tomatoes and the texture of the pasta, making this pasta dish seem like a work of art! The gelato was also new and had a variety of flavors to choose from, making the whole experience enjoyable! I highly recommend trying it at least once!

Blog post, https://ameblo.jp/syenron1/entry-12813173283.html On July 17 (Monday, public holiday), we avoided the "Yamahoko Junko" of the Gion Festival and headed to Nijyo Yamashiro, far from Shijo Street. We visited the special summer attraction "Tokuin" in Kyoto. Next, we moved north. In the east of the Kyoto Imperial Palace, we visited "Nashiki Shrine" and "Caffee Base NASINOKI." Then, we headed towards Arashiyama! We visited "Kurumaori Shrine" and "Gesha Shrine." At 1:00 PM, with the heat at its peak, we decided to head home early. We passed through Arashiyama and on the way back, we searched for a lunch spot. This time, without any prior research, we decided to enter a restaurant if we found a good one while driving around. We noticed a building and a sign that looked inviting. We parked the car and entered the restaurant. For lunch that day, we chose 【Ishijou Namapasta Kuranosuke】. The blackboard menu had limited-time items like ☆ "Ishihi Reiketsu" ☆ and "Baby Lobster." The interior of the restaurant, renovated from an old folk house, had a Japanese atmosphere. We sat at a table in the back. We placed our order through a touch panel. I chose the "Ishihi Reiketsu" which is a limited-time ■ Tomato Jure Sorbet and Mozzarella Cheese Cold Pasta, said to be the coldest pasta in the world. I opted for the Custom Pasta where you can enjoy your own combination. I chose the ■ Rich Tomato Sauce Base with toppings like Crispy Broccoli, Shiso Leaves, and Garlic Chips. When the dishes arrived, we were surprised! They were sizzling hot... so hot that it could burn your mouth. The pasta and broccoli were delicious. I also tried the cold pasta, which was chewy and tasty. The pasta was sizzling hot, as the name suggests, and almost burned my mouth. I ordered the spiciness level one notch higher since I wasn't sure about the levels. The pasta and broccoli were delicious. I also tried the cold pasta, which was chewy and tasty. The Rich Tomato Sauce Base remained hot and delicious until the end (I was sweating). It was a hot day, so the garlic helped boost my stamina. But I was sweating a lot... when I went to the restroom, I saw other tables enjoying the sizzling hot pasta. It's definitely the specialty of this restaurant. We entered without prior research, but it turned out to be a delicious restaurant. Looking forward to visiting again in the cold winter. From Kyoto Imperial Palace towards Arashiyama! I went on a Saturday afternoon and the parking lot behind the restaurant was full. The inside of the restaurant was also crowded. You can choose to order using a tablet or calling a staff member. The explanation of how to use the tablet was easy to understand. The stone-cooked pasta stayed hot for a long time. I chose the Japanese-style cream pasta with beef tripe, but I couldn't find the sea urchin, maybe it had melted. However, the bonito flakes added a delicious flavor.

A shop located southwest of the intersection of a narrow bus street and Monzenmachi Street. The interior of the shop, which is in an old folk house, was very lovely. There is parking space for two cars on the side of the shop (east side), but it seems easier to park at the back parking lot due to the intersection. There is a second parking lot with space for 14 cars at the back (south side) and another one with space for 9 cars about 50 meters south along Monzenmachi Street. You can order using a terminal or directly with the staff. The menu has a wide variety of items, and I had a hard time deciding on a dish (haha). You can choose from menu items or customize your pasta by selecting a base sauce and adding toppings yourself. While I was contemplating the menu, waiting for the food, and eating, customers kept coming in, and the spacious interior was almost full. I ordered the large shrimp and lobster cream pasta with the Kuranosuke Premium Lunch Set. You can change the broccoli in the pasta to avocado or spinach, and I chose spinach (using the terminal made it easier to understand). The premium set includes a mini comforting soup, salad, bread combo, drink, and two desserts. It seemed like a lot of food, but since I was with my partner today, I decided to go for the set. My partner ordered the limited-time menu item "Melting Beef Tendon Stew and Winter Vegetable Stone Curry Rice with Half-Cooked Egg" with rice changed to pasta and a drink set. We were provided with black non-woven fabric aprons to prevent sauce from splattering. The mini comforting soup was clam chowder served in a coffee cup, hot and full of finely chopped ingredients. The dish salad was a Caesar salad with homemade croutons. The crispy croutons and fresh greens, topped with mini potato salad, were delicious. The bread combo included focaccia and rusk. The staff suggested dipping the focaccia in the pasta sauce, which was a great idea. The main pasta dish had two shrimp, bacon, and spinach (the one I changed), with a bubbling sauce! It stayed hot for quite a long time due to being cooked in a stone pot. I'm sorry for my poor description, but it was delicious. The dessert, which I thought would be two bites, turned out to be quite large for one bite each (haha). It included raspberry chocolate, panna cotta, and strawberry ice cream. They were all not too sweet, and even though I'm not a fan of sweet things, I enjoyed them. The coffee we ordered after the meal was served in a glass cup, which was quite unique.

After Hatsumode every year, we all go to Kuronosuke's pasta together. Located in Kashiwara, a historic preservation district in the ancient post town of Nishikyo-Katsura in Kyoto, this restaurant is a renovated old folk house that is said to be over 150 years old in order to preserve it for future generations. They have created a unique menu with dozens of rich fresh pasta dishes over the years, and you can enjoy them piping hot until the end in a specially made stone pot that maximizes the umami of the ingredients with far-infrared heat. In this beautifully renovated traditional townhouse, you can experience the best comfort and the sophisticated atmosphere, not to mention the wide variety of pasta types and sauce combinations. This year, they have Hiroshima-grown fresh oyster and spinach carbonara with a tomato half-cooked egg finish. It's hot and chewy until the last bite! With so many menu options, it can be overwhelming for a large group to decide what to order.

On the weekend, my husband and I went out for lunch. We made a simple online reservation and arrived at the opening time for our first visit. The restaurant is a renovated 150-year-old traditional house, and we were surprised by the sophisticated and spacious interior. Despite the ample space between tables, the restaurant had a surprisingly large capacity. The old ceiling beams and furnishings added a nice accent to the cozy atmosphere. The menu offered a wide variety of pasta and risotto dishes, featuring fresh pasta and high-quality ingredients. We enjoyed our dishes cooked in a stone pot that retained heat until the very end. After much deliberation, we ordered the "Italian Porcini Mushroom and Beef Cheek Peperoncino," "Grilled Mackerel and Awaji Island Roasted Onion Pasta (Arrabbiata)," "Stone-baked Bread Combo," and "KIMBO Coffee." We could order from a tablet device in addition to the menu provided at the table. The staff were polite and helpful. The restaurant quickly filled up, reflecting its popularity despite the somewhat high prices. This unique restaurant has been on my radar since it opened ten years ago, and I'm glad I finally got to visit. Over the years, they have opened sister stores and branches. Although slightly away from the city center, it may be a hit with tourists as well. The food was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

This place is really great! Because it's stone-grilled, you can enjoy piping hot dishes right off the grill, and the menu is also extensive and wonderful! This time, I ordered a limited-time pasta dish and also an aioli, which was also delicious! The atmosphere of the restaurant is very cozy and relaxing, making it a top favorite spot for me to enjoy pasta slowly. I wish this place was more well-known, but the location is a bit inconvenient because there are limited parking spaces if you come by car. However, it's definitely worth a visit!

Whenever I come here, it's always the best. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice. It's a renovated traditional townhouse with a calm atmosphere, and the hot stone-cooked pasta is perfect. This time, I tried the limited-time menu, Matsusaka beef sukiyaki-style pasta. The sukiyaki flavor is not too strong, creating a perfect balance and excellent harmony with the pasta! The meat is tender, the green onions are soft, and it's very delicious! I want to come back again and again!

I visited this restaurant for lunch for the first time. It seemed popular, so I was excited. I arrived at 11:30, but it was quite empty. (There were still seats available after 12:00) The staff kindly explained the menu and tablet. They had a nice smile. I ordered the selected sea urchin and snow crab raw pasta and the Kuranosuke special select meat sauce. It was a stone-grilled pasta. Honestly, it was extremely salty! The saltiness was too much for me. I also ordered risotto, which was also too salty. I went with two other people, and we all agreed. The prices are also quite high. Each item costs almost 2000 yen, so the cost performance is not good. Additionally, the lunch set advertised on the signboard at the entrance for 770 yen was confusing. Other customers also seemed to misunderstand. I probably won't come back. It would be nice if the taste was good even if it was expensive. Thank you for the meal.

My friend recommended this restaurant saying it was good, so I went with high expectations. I couldn't decide what to order, but ended up choosing the pasta with large shrimp and lobster sauce. It was served in a sizzling hot stone pot and stayed warm until the end, which was nice. However, I felt that the dish was overpriced at 1850 yen. The shrimp didn't seem like large shrimp as described. In the city, you can get a salad, dessert, and drink included for the same price.

A shop renovated from an old Kyoto townhouse. The atmosphere is very cozy and calming. The hot stone-cooked pasta here is amazing! This time, I tried the dinner-only crab pasta! The moment the dish arrived, the scent of crab hit my nose and my appetite doubled! The flavor of the crab spread in my mouth as soon as I took a bite, making me feel fantastic! The salad with croutons and clam chowder that come with the dinner set are also very delicious! This is a place I would recommend to many people!

I had passed by this shop many times before, but it seemed a bit sketchy so I never went in. However, after watching a TV show in the morning featuring fresh pasta, I suddenly felt like having some and decided to give it a try. The atmosphere inside was great, and the staff were very polite and helpful in explaining the menu which had a lot of options to choose from. I was in the mood for something tomato-based, so I chose the lobster pasta. I opted for the full set which included salad and soup, and they were both delicious, raising my expectations. When the bread came - focaccia and rusk - I was a bit surprised by the rusk, but it was okay (laughs). The pasta was incredibly delicious, and because it was served in a hot stone bowl, it stayed warm throughout the meal. If you have a sensitive tongue, be careful! It was the best pasta I've had in a long time! I definitely want to go back. The price is a bit high for pasta, but it's worth it!

I recently became friends with someone who lives in Katsura, so we had dinner nearby. It was the main store of Kuronosuke Pasta, which I visited before at Zest Oike! It's a restaurant that renovated a townhouse, with a great atmosphere. Even though it's a bit far from the station, it was fully booked and the waiting room was also full. The staff were very polite and welcoming, and they even mentioned that they saw my post on Moe gourmet, which made me very happy. I asked the staff for recommendations and they suggested the new winter pasta dish, "Hiroshima oyster and mushroom masterpiece pasta in a Japanese-style mizore broth." It was delicious! It had a hint of garlic, similar to aglio e olio, but with a Japanese broth that came through later. The flavor of the oysters was amazing, and the aroma of the mushrooms was delightful. The mizore sauce wrapped everything up nicely, with shiso leaves adding a nice touch. The oyster milk flavor was outstanding, just as expected from Hiroshima oysters. The mushrooms included shiitake, enoki, shimeji, and more, with the shiitake standing out. We also shared the famous "Hot gratin-style cream pasta with Parma ham." It was creamy and delicious, with the saltiness of the ham balancing everything perfectly. The spinach had no bitterness, just umami. The dinner set we ordered came with a lot of side dishes, including corn potage with homemade croutons, salad, and a drink, as well as a fluffy stone-baked focaccia. But the highlight was the dessert, with three different options. The bitter chocolate was good, but the pear mousse was exceptional, with tiny pear fruit bits evenly mixed in. The peach gelato was clear and refreshing, with a sweet and sour sauce. This set was a steal at 770 yen. The chef explained that they offer a variety of desserts because they believe it adds to the customer's enjoyment. We also got some takeout of their fresh pasta, including the "Large prawn and snow crab in tomato sauce Genovese-style" and the "Cheek meat with Gorgonzola." The prawns and crab were flavorful, and the cheek meat was tender with a hint of Gorgonzola. The pasta was cooked for 3 minutes, but I found 2 and a half minutes to be my preferred firmness. I heard they also have a restaurant that is like a cat cafe, which I am curious about.

The other day, I went to lunch with my friends and tried fresh pasta. It was so chewy and delicious! I had the winter limited oyster risotto and sea urchin peperoncino, both were amazing. The sea urchin peperoncino was my favorite and I want to go back for it. I also got a course with beef cheek cream sauce pasta as a gift, and it was so good that I can make it at home. They have parking too, which was convenient for me as I drive.

The price was unexpectedly high, but surprisingly, a well-made fresh pasta was served. Good job! Being a stone-baked dish, the pasta remained piping hot until the end. Regardless of the necessity for it to be so hot, I surprisingly felt full and satisfied. It was delicious. The staff were also nice. Last order at 8:30 pm, closing time is fair. A good and honest restaurant.

Located at the entrance of the historic preservation district of the post town of Kashihara in Nishikyo Ward, Kyoto City, is the beloved local stone-grilled pasta specialty restaurant "Kuranosuke." The restaurant is always packed with a fairly spacious parking lot that is constantly full, and there is a continuous flow of customers waiting until the last order. The owner seems to be a cat lover, as there are paw print marks everywhere, and they also run a cat-shaped bread shop and a cat cafe. The interior of the restaurant, renovated from an old storehouse, is lovely and the atmosphere seems great even at night. After much deliberation over the extensive menu, I finally chose the limited-time Hiroshima oyster and mozzarella fresh tomato pasta (1800 yen), with a topping of crunchy salmon roe (450 yen). I also decided to share the sea urchin and snow crab peperoncino (1900 yen) with a holiday lunch set (660 yen). This set includes 5 popular items (mini clam chowder soup, dish salad, stone-grilled salted mochi mochi grissini, soft drink, and seasonal glass dessert) and is a special menu available only on holidays. The soup of the day was a clam chowder with plenty of asari clams, which was refreshing and not too sweet, with a nice touch of black pepper. The freshly baked mochi mochi grissini and egg salad were delicious too! The main pasta dishes arrived in a shallow stone pot, bubbling and making a sound. The firm and chewy pasta, which does not stretch even until the end, is a feature of the restaurant. The original sauce, generously mixed in, was delicious! The large oysters and snow crab were a pleasant surprise. The mozzarella cheese, melted in the tomato sauce, and the generous serving of perilla in the peperoncino were both excellent and hard to choose between. The deliciousness was so surprising that I couldn't help but get some for takeout as well (laughs). This is a place worth visiting even if you have to go out of your way! I would love to visit for dinner next time.

On the first day of my trip to Kyoto, I had lunch at Ishi-Yaki Pasta Kurano Suke in Kashiwara. I had the selected sea urchin and crab peperoncino clam chowder salad grissini dessert ginger ale for 2650 yen. The hot pasta was chewy, and the crab was cut into large pieces, offering a luxurious taste! The perilla did a great job. It was a delicious and affordable lunch. Thank you for the meal.

I went to eat the limited-time menu at Pasta Kuronosuke, located near Hankyu Katsura Station in Kyoto. The restaurant is a renovated traditional house that is said to be over 150 years old. It has a cozy atmosphere with tatami seating, making it suitable for families and also for a date night. The pasta here is unique as it is served in a special stone pot, keeping it hot until the very end. When it was served, it was bubbling hot, which was a pleasant surprise. The stone pot uses far infrared heat to bring out the flavors of the ingredients to the fullest, allowing you to enjoy the pasta hot until the last bite. They also have a variety of gratin and kids' menus, which was very convenient for me as a mother dining with my daughter. I tried the Winter Limited Pasta Dinner Set, which included Hiroshima oyster and mozzarella cheese fresh tomato pasta, and large shrimp and lobster sauce cream pasta. The fresh pasta was chewy and filling, and the ingredients were delicious, making every bite enjoyable. The focaccia, soup, salad, and dessert were also carefully prepared and delicious. I also bought some fresh pasta to take home, and when I ate it the next day, I was happy to taste the same flavors as in the restaurant. The pasta I took home was Hiroshima oyster and real snow crab tomato sauce Genovese style, and special raw bacon carbonara crema cream. I now want to try other pasta dishes as well. My daughter was delighted, and the staff were all very friendly.

I had a pasta lunch set at Ishiyaki Namapasta Kuranosuke, a lovely old folk house. I chose the Hiroshima-grown fresh oyster and mushroom pasta, served on a hot stone plate.
