The stylish glass facade and the yellow neon sign from a distance are distinctive features. The interior is a cool and artistic space with wall art depicting a double touch and sporty items that catch the eye, creating a relaxed and open space with various seating options in each section. The menu features homemade pizzas as the main focus, with experiential foods and a variety of drinks filled with entertainment elements. The homemade additive-free lemonade "AWAKE LEMONADE" uses plenty of domestically grown pesticide-free and chemical fertilizer-free lemons, with no added sugar, making it an eco-friendly drink inspired by athletes. The balance of moderate sweetness and the bitterness of lemons is truly a golden ratio! The signature PIZZA at SCHOLE, the iconic Junky Rock Mountain, is a three-dimensional creation with pizza, salad, french fries, salsa chips, and two other menu items that can be chosen by the customer. The homemade cheese blend poured generously into a gravy boat and the cheese flowing acrobatically from the net create a captivating and somewhat sinful scene. Furthermore, the pizza baked in the pizza oven in the shop is crispy, with the perfect marriage of tomato umami and cheese. The Square-shaped SCHOLE Snack Castle is filled with sweets in bread, resembling a candy castle. Toppings include familiar retro sweets like Pocky and Apollo, creating a fascinating content. It is recommended to share, but it is also recommended to indulge alone as a reward for oneself, or for celebrating important occasions such as anniversaries or birthdays. The Double Dutch is an urban sport that delivers excitement beyond borders and competition, especially in the context of the Tokyo Olympics. Ordered the Margherita pizza (1000 yen). The lunch set comes with salad and potatoes, making it a great deal. The pizza may look small, but it is generously topped with cheese and was quite filling. I would like to visit again in the future.

Family went to Kyoto Aquarium and found a stylish American restaurant just a 2-3 minute walk away. The interior had a hip-hop vibe and the food was super American, true to its name "JUNKIE Rock Mountain" priced at 3278 yen. You can choose between Margherita or Quattro Formaggi pizza, and for fried foods, options include bone-in chicken and onion rings. They serve a two-tier plate with fried foods and pizza, then pour melted cheese over it and grate more cheese on top, creating a high-calorie monster dish. Surprisingly, each dish was delicious, especially the pizza which was outstanding. My daughter enjoyed it so much and finished it in no time. I highly recommend visiting this place with your family or for a date after visiting the aquarium.

There is a burger restaurant in Koyamachi that is produced by Unit. The interior of the restaurant is very stylish. During lunchtime, they offer a pizza set which is a great deal. I want to go back next time to try ordering a pizza that suits my taste. They are open all day, so there were also people using the cafe space.

I went flower viewing in Umekoji, Kyoto and decided to visit a newly opened pizza shop! The cherry blossoms are in full bloom in Kyoto right now. I usually go to Umekoji Park every year to see the cherry blossoms, but this time I made a reservation at a pizza shop that opened in January 2023 nearby. (As someone who uses Tabelog, I always want to try new restaurants that are not well-known yet.) When I entered, I was directed to a seat where I could watch anime movies on a projector. The interior of the restaurant seems quite spacious. They had a special menu called Ape & Joe Pizza for 1540 yen, which is a special menu from Kyoto Hannaryz. It's the most recommended dish right now, so I decided to go for that. They also have a stamp rally going on. However, I actually asked, "What is Kyoto Hannaryz?" because I had no idea (laughs). I'm not from Kyoto, so sorry about that. It turns out it's a professional basketball team in Japan. The lunch menu from 11 am to 2 pm looked like this. I tried the homemade lemonade soda mix recommended by one of the staff, which was really delicious. If you come here, you must try this. Highly recommended. I'm not a fan of berry-flavored sour drinks, but I'm okay with lemon-flavored ones (personal taste, right?). The pizza set for lunch called Score Lunch for 1188 yen is recommended for those who want to try a variety of dishes along with chicken, potatoes, salad, and a half-size pizza. They also brought plenty of honey. I put a lot of honey on my Ape & Joe Pizza, and it was amazing! It's definitely better with honey! I cut the pizza into 8 slices and ate it, but I felt like my stomach was about to burst. The shrimp was so fresh and crunchy, and the watercress and dried shrimp went really well together! So delicious! There were also customers who ordered takeout, so it's already popular. They are open from 11 am to 9 pm, which is very convenient. It's only 526 meters from Umekoji Kyoto Nishi Station and a 14-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station, so it's easily accessible. Even if you miss the cherry blossom season, they also offer birthday surprises (I was surprised when the volume suddenly increased and the "Happy Birthday" song started playing). They have a children's menu and allow entry with baby strollers, so it might be a good idea to visit with your kids. I parked at a nearby coin parking lot as there is no dedicated parking at the restaurant near Kyoto Aquarium. I ordered the Quattro Formaggi pizza supervised by upits.burger, which opened on January 9, 2023. It was interesting to see the cheese flowing down. However, it was a bit too sweet for my taste because it was drizzled with honey. I felt that the JUNKIE Rock Mountain pizza would appeal more to teenagers with its junky flavors. I personally enjoyed the bone-in meat that I chose from the selection of two dishes. I also ordered the garlic shrimp, but it was different from what I expected as it had a breaded coating.

Ordered food: Junky Rock Mountain for ¥3278, which includes Quattro Formaggi pizza, one piece of bone-in chicken, two pieces of onion rings, fried potatoes, and coleslaw. Also ordered an original pizza for ¥440. For drinks, had homemade additive-free lemonade for ¥682, self-serve matcha latte for ¥748, and hot latte for ¥550. For dessert, had the Birthday Plate Snack Castle for ¥1958. The coffee and matcha were high quality, and the lemonade was so delicious it could be enjoyed on its own. The restaurant also offers a rare Peroni draft beer. The evening atmosphere is more relaxed and welcoming than during the day. There are seats where you can watch movies, and if you ask for popcorn, they will cheerfully give it to you for free. The restaurant is quite particular about its quality. The ambiance is stylish, and during spring and fall, they open the windows, creating a pleasant atmosphere. You can customize your original pizza with your favorite toppings. It's a great place for surprises, with a fantastic atmosphere, delicious food, and enthusiastic staff. The location near Kyoto Station is convenient, making it a perfect spot for a surprise in Kyoto. They also provide coloring activities for kids. Overall, it's a wonderful restaurant.
