Salon Ginza Sabou is a salon in Ginza that I have always admired. Located inside Tokyu Plaza Ginza, this cafe offers lunch and sweets. The interior of the store also sells miscellaneous goods and food items, and there are plenty of seating options, including tables for 2 and 4 people at the back. Of course, the main attraction is the parfait served in a square wooden container. The Matcha Parfait is priced at 1,100 yen as a standalone item, and 1,500 yen with a drink. The drink options include iced and hot Karigane tea, roasted Karigane tea, scented black tea, Oolong tea, and organic coffee. The recommended choice is the scented black tea, but I was intrigued by the Karigane tea so I chose that. The visually appealing parfait arrived, with what I initially thought was whipped cream on top turned out to be white chocolate sprinkled with tea powder, which you break and eat to reveal the layers inside. The parfait contains mascarpone cheese, bracken rice cake, puff pastry, ice cream, chestnuts, and more, providing a well-balanced and enjoyable taste experience that doesn't get boring. The subtle matcha flavor in this exquisite dessert was delightful. The Karigane tea had a refreshing taste with a hint of sweetness, making it delicious. It seems that the lunch menu, featuring rice cooked in a clay pot, is also popular. The majority of customers were women. Address: B2F, Tokyu Plaza Ginza, 5-2-1 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo. Business hours: 11:00-22:00. Closed on: No regular holidays. Website: http://salon.adametrope.com/
