After visiting the family graves on the way back from the Higan period, I stopped by Meguro's Fruit Parlor Liebel. I arrived around 3:30 pm and most of the parfaits were already sold out. Although the chestnut parfait, which was a preview of autumn, was tempting, I decided to go for the classic menu - the Fruit Parfait (1,580 yen) and the Fruit Parlor Blend Tea (600 yen, but 350 yen when ordered with dessert or a meal). I chose the lemon blend tea, which had a subtle acidity, with a hint of lemon. The Fruit Parfait was beautifully presented with fresh watermelon, melon, mango, pear, pink grapefruit, orange, kiwi, banana, grapes, and plum stacked in a tower. Underneath the fruits were vanilla, strawberry, and melon ice cream, along with rich whipped cream. It was a leisurely moment to savor the unique flavors of each fruit. However, the atmosphere was a bit noisy due to a group of chatty women, and the service felt rushed, so I rated them a 3. I plan to come back during a quieter time to enjoy the seasonal fruits. I also recommend trying the fluffy French toast, which is made with plenty of eggs and whipped cream.

I visited at a time just after lunchtime had ended, so I was able to enter without any trouble. They were out of strawberries, so I had to think about what to do, but I ended up getting a fruit sandwich. It was a lot for one person to eat, but it was very delicious. I have been a fan since the days when it was located in Meguro Atre. Recently, it has become more like a chain store and the prices have gone up. However, I visited with a friend after a long time. I had the roast beef and shrimp & avocado salad. I added bread for an extra 200 yen. The roast beef had lots of fruits on top. The meat, vegetables, and fruits are of good quality, so even with simple seasoning, it was delicious. The bread was warm. I have tried many other items on the menu before, and everything tastes better than a regular cafe. I always feel like coming back for more. I was disappointed to see that my favorite seafood gratin was no longer on the menu. I had a fruit tea after the meal, which was also satisfying with lots of fruits. This time, I didn't have any cake, but I love their Zucotto. It's a shame that the prices have doubled compared to before. Well, you could also say that the prices were too good in the past. About 20 years ago, I used to have girls' nights out here a lot, and it gave me a lot of fun memories. I am grateful to the Fruit Parlor for that. Please continue for a long time.

This year's peach parfait is a bit different from usual as it is already September. It has a fall twist with vanilla ice cream inside, and the peaches are sweet and delicious. Peach parfait: 3300 yen, Fruit sandwich: 1210 yen, Iced coffee set: 350 yen. The fruits are also very delicious!

Went with friends to a restaurant near Meguro Station that has been around for a long time. Even though we went close to closing time, we received very attentive service. Ordered the French toast with lots of fruit toppings. It was quite filling, almost too much for a dessert after a meal. The taste was consistently delicious and we were very satisfied. Despite the spacious interior, customers kept coming in one after another, keeping the place busy. Today, we ordered the Fruit Mitsumame for ¥1,210 and the Pudding a la Mode for ¥1,430. Both dishes were generously topped with large cuts of fruit, so much so that the mitsumame and pudding were almost hidden underneath. The strawberries were a bit sour, but the other fruits were sweet and delicious. Overall, we were very satisfied with the generous portions.

This is the main store of Liebelle located on Gonosuke-zaka. The fruit sandwich is 1200 yen for lunch (1100 yen if you go for morning). Drinks are not included. The fruit sandwich itself was very delicious, but it seemed like there weren't enough staff members. Despite the large number of people waiting, fruit cardboard boxes were stacked on chairs and tables near the entrance, making it messy and crowded. Personally, I didn't have a good impression of the Meguro store, but the one in Shibuya Hikarie was spacious and comfortable. Maybe I just went at a bad time... It's a bit disappointing because the fruit sandwiches and parfaits are delicious.

At Meguro Fruit Parlor Liebel Meguro store, I had a parfait. After eating a hearty meal at Jiro, I felt like having something sweet, so I went to the reliable Liebel. Personally, I often visit the Shinjuku store because it has a lot of seating and stays open until late, making it very convenient. However, since the Jinjuku store closed down, I hadn't been to Liebel recently, but I decided to go back after a long time. This was my second visit to the Meguro store. Last time, I only had juice, but this time, of course, I came to eat a parfait. The seasonal parfait when I visited was Shine Muscat, but I wasn't in the mood for it, so I chose my favorite, melon parfait. When it arrived, it had the usual presence. Looking at it, I don't think anyone's excitement wouldn't go up. There was plenty of melon on top, which was great. First, I tried the melon alone, and it was consistently delicious. It was sweet and tasty melon. The slices were also quite large, and there was a good amount, so it was quite satisfying to eat. The ice cream inside was flavored just the way I like it. There was also plenty of it, which was great for someone like me who loves ice cream. Liebel may not be cheap, but considering the quantity and quality, I think it's reasonable, and I like the reliability it offers. I believe Liebel is at the top level among fruit parlors.

The chocolate parfait at Fruit Orchard Liebel in Meguro is filled with lots of bananas. The glass is also filled with plenty of bananas. Truly a fruit orchard. This parfait is a must-try for banana lovers. The combination of bananas and chocolate is perfect. The parfait looks cute when served.

Meguro lunch part 4, famous fruit orchard Liebel-san. Today, I tried to go to another nearby shop, but it was closed for employee training. Ended up having lunch at this shop nearby. It was past 1 pm on a weekday. Perhaps due to the typhoon yesterday, I was able to get a seat easily. The menu had many delicious fruit options. I was tempted by the fruit sandwich, but I decided it might be too sweet for me. I opted for the mixed sandwich instead. The service was a bit slow. After a short wait, the mixed sandwich arrived. Of course, it came with fruits that looked beautiful and made me happy just by looking at them. The sandwich was a bit plain compared to the loaded sandwiches I am used to nowadays, but it was as advertised on the menu. The dessert fruits were amazing! I would like to come back next time for breakfast or tea time.

After a long time, I visited Fruit Orchard Liebel and had the Mango & Peach Parfait and Fruit Pancakes. Liebel sources seasonal fruits from various regions, so all the fruits are perfectly ripe. The parfait was filled with large peaches and mangoes. The juicy sweetness of the peach and the melt-in-your-mouth texture of the mango were amazing. The fruit pancakes also had plenty of mangoes. When you want to enjoy delicious fruits, Liebel is the place to go.

I visited after dinner with a feeling of having a night parfait. The restaurant was quite crowded, even at night. I wanted to try the Zucotto, but it was almost sold out, so I had the Japanese mango parfait instead. It was delicious with a moist sweetness, but it would have been even better without the soft serve.

I used it for lunch. I visited in the early afternoon, so it was relatively empty and there was almost no waiting time. Many families were using the restaurant. I ordered the doria. It comes with salad, fruit, and a drink for 1,430 yen, so I think it's a good deal for Meguro. It seems like a family-run franchise, and the staff are quite laid-back. My order was brought to me quite quickly, but my friend's meal took a while to arrive and only came after we reminded them. It felt like they had forgotten. Also, when I asked for Tabasco, the staff made a displeased face, which surprised me. As it is a fruit specialty shop, the fruit was delicious, and the doria had just the right amount of volume. Next time, I want to visit to try the parfait.

There was a sign at the entrance saying that strawberries were not available, which was good because Japanese strawberries are so full of pesticides that even Taiwan refuses to import them. I wanted to avoid strawberries, so this worked out perfectly! As soon as I entered, I saw a staff member holding an alcohol spray, ready to spray it, which was a bit scary. I don't want my hands to get any more damaged from sanitizer, and I don't want my immune system to weaken! I went to my table with my own sanitizer, but I was surprised that this kind of practice was still being enforced. Because of this, the service felt a bit rushed. The staff only briefly mentioned that the cakes were in the showcase and then walked away. The table seating was located under a TV monitor, and the layout of the tables was not ideal. The arrangement of the tables was also a bit haphazard. I was interested in the zucotto, parfaits, and fruit sandwiches, but I couldn't tell if the cream was whipped cream or fresh cream, so I opted for a simple fruit salad. Now, onto the fruit salad itself, it was quite generous in portion size. Of course, it should be for 1650 yen. The mango and watermelon had less sugar than I expected, making them easier to eat. I added a set of tea for an additional 350 yen. The tea set was a simple one with tea leaves in the cup. There was no announcement of when the tea would be ready to drink, so by the time I took out the tea leaves to drink, it was too late and the tea was too bitter. It's a minor detail, but when the plate was placed on the table, it was slightly off-center, and it seemed like the staff was not paying attention to the customers and just going through the routine. I believe that work should be more than just following a routine. As for menu suggestions, it would be nice if there were organic fruits available, even if it's for a limited time, because no matter how much you wash them, pesticides won't come off. I would be happy to pay a higher price for fruits from orchards that I can trust. With a higher price, the quality of service should also be up to par. I ordered the Fruit Sandwich Morning set (1100 yen) with iced tea. I waited for nearly 30 minutes for my order. The plate arrived with salad, fruits, and a sandwich. The fruits included melon and lychee, with fresh lychee being a pleasant surprise. The sandwich had a light cream filling with banana, kiwi, strawberry, and pineapple. The bread was soft and fluffy. While I was there, I saw another customer enjoying the "Melon Tasting Parfait," so I decided to add that to my order (2200 yen). The parfait featured red melon and quince melon, although they were a bit firm. I had to tackle a large amount of ice cream and whipped cream after finishing the melon. It's rare to find a parfait that focuses more on fruits and less on ice cream and cream like the ones from Fruits Sugi-san.

I had a fruit sandwich. Rather than the cream overpowering the fruit, the cream was subtle, allowing the deliciousness of the fruit to shine through. Thank you very much. It was a treat.

After the cultural festival, my eldest daughter and I went to Fruit Parlor Liebel Meguro store. Due to the impact of the typhoon, strawberries were not available, so other fruits were used as substitutes, as indicated on the store sign. My daughter ordered the "Peach Parfait" while I ordered the "Peach Melon's Court". The Peach Parfait had four huge half peaches, with vanilla ice cream in the middle, plenty of whipped cream around it, and lots of sliced peaches at the bottom, truly a peach lover's dream. The Peach Melon's Court had a large melon inside, which was surprising. It was cut for us with a knife. The peaches from Fukuoka prefecture were incredibly delicious. The fruits were so delicious, it made us happy.
