The combination of pork fat, noodles, and soup is fantastic and incredibly delicious. I definitely want to go back again. Thank you for the meal. I am grateful for all the ingredients in this world. I'm calling for delicious food, the more you eat, the more power you overflow with.

It's been a while since I visited "Kamitomo" restaurant. Even if someone asks if there is anything else, for some reason I always end up ordering my usual combo: "Yakimeshi set with Ramen large (firm noodles, extra green onions), Yakimeshi small for 1180 yen." I guess I come here to eat this combo because I really want it. I always think that if I try something new, it should be at a new restaurant. But after a few visits, I know I will go back to my usual order. The set was brought to me, the familiar and comforting taste. I always enjoy this reliable taste. I usually eat half of the ramen first, then add chili pepper and spicy garlic for a change in flavor. This routine is also part of my usual order. I finished my meal. Thank you for the delicious food.

This day was a day when my husband and I had dinner separately after work, so I kept it simple. I ordered a small portion of char siu ramen with fried chicken set! I always end up ordering too much :( The ramen is delicious, but the fried chicken here is so good! The ramen has a pretty strong flavor! However, I always feel like it needs a little something extra when I go there.

It was my first visit, but there were quite a few solo female customers, as well as families and male customers, making it an easy-to-enter shop. It faces Shijo Street and is close to Hankyu Nishinomiya Station, so there were many people coming after work. I ordered the regular ramen, which was just the right amount for a woman. The fried chicken was delicious, and made me crave a beer ^_^

I happened to pass by a restaurant and saw a sign for cold noodles and fried chicken set, which tempted me to go in. It paired really well with a highball. It turned into a lunchtime drinking snack, but it was really delicious. The hot and chewy fried chicken was great, and the smooth texture of the cold noodles was also very satisfying. Thank you for the meal.

I had some business to attend to in Kyoto, so I visited this restaurant after about five years. This place holds a lot of memories for me as it was a favorite when I used to live nearby. When it comes to Kyoto ramen, this is the place for me! I arrived around 11:30 am on a Wednesday and the restaurant was quite busy. There are about 10 seats at the counter, making it easy for even solo diners to get a seat. The staff were all very efficient and made the dining experience pleasant. The turnover rate was also quick. I ordered the special seared chashu ramen with fried chicken set. You can choose the rice portion size for free - small, medium, or large. I opted for the small portion this time. The thinly seared chashu covered the rim of the bowl, with bean sprouts, green onions, and garlic chips on top of the noodles. The garlic chips are delicious. I used to ask for extra garlic in the past, but I refrained this time as I have work tomorrow. The set also came with three large pieces of crispy and juicy fried chicken, shredded cabbage with dressing, and pickled cucumbers. The fried chicken here is very popular and you can also get it for takeout. It's still as delicious as ever. I love this place. I will definitely come back to eat here when I visit Kyoto again. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered the special seared chashu ramen with fried rice on the side. The ramen noodles were straight and the soup was rich, which was just right. The chashu had a good balance of meat and fat, and was delicious. There seemed to be a lack of green onions. The fried rice was very tasty, but the portion was a bit small for me. The staff seemed to be in the middle of training, as a female staff member was being instructed in a firm tone. The loud voice of the manager or leader was a bit distracting, and at times it was hard to hear the conversation of the person I was with. Overall, the meal was delicious but the experience was a bit lacking. I do not recommend sitting at the counter, as it can be distracting. The cashier seemed to be a new employee and was a bit slow, causing some frustration for customers waiting in line. The restaurant closes at 9:00 PM with last order at 8:30 PM, and I confirmed this information via phone call on June 16, 2022.

I visited Kami Lai-san in front of Saiin Station for the first time ✨* After a long Golden Week, today we are heading back to Tokyo. Each of our children had things to do, so my wife and I went to eat together. * I heard they serve Kyoto ramen. It's a tonkotsu soy-based broth, but not too heavy, with a nice touch of black pepper. I ordered extra pork fat, but it wasn't greasy at all. * The noodles are slightly thin with not much distinctive feature. * I got the Char Siu Ramen with seared pork slices, and the searing process seemed to have removed any excess fat, which was nice. * I asked for extra green onions, but it didn't seem like a lot. * Overall, the Char Siu Ramen cost 950 yen, both in terms of price and taste, it's at a decent chain store level. The fact that they have been increasing their number of stores recently shows that they are being well-received, although I'm not quite sure why. * Thank you for the meal❗️

In the morning, I had a follow-up health check in Kyoto. After promising the doctor to take care of my health, I stopped by here 30 minutes later. I was greeted by a cheerful older sister's voice and led to the counter. I grew up in an environment with ramen and rice, so I didn't hesitate to order the ramen and fried rice set. The staff's communication and teamwork are pleasant. The food was ready in no time! I didn't specify the firmness of the noodles this time, but they were just right for me. The soup was also moderately rich and paired well with the noodles and fried rice. The fried rice looked rich, but it was just right! I sweated happily and enjoyed the meal. Next time, I want to try the char siu noodles.

I visited this place for the first time in a while. The restaurant was bustling with people during weekday lunchtime, and the atmosphere was lively and pleasant. I ordered a small portion of Char Siu ramen and a small portion of fried rice. It was just the right amount for a woman! I was able to change the taste of the soup with ginger and spicy garlic halfway through, and I finished it all. It had been a while since I last came, but I think it's relatively delicious. However, I wouldn't say it's so delicious that it's impressive.

The taste was decent but the craving for meat was not satisfied. Matured noodle shop Shinrai Main Store (Kyoto, Saiin) Char siu ramen, large serving + triple char siu + special half-boiled seasoned egg + fried rice (regular). #Expected more piled-up pork... #Noodles normal, plenty of lard, lots of green onions #Self-service red pickled ginger, black pepper, chili pepper, spicy garlic #New Year business from 1/7 (Fri) #Limited seating capacity

Basic Kyoto ramen. If someone asked me to take them to a Kyoto ramen place, I might choose this one. It's just delicious. The fried rice is also good. But if you ask me what stands out, I can't think of anything in particular. The limited lunch sets or the cold noodles might offer more value and satisfaction.

I climbed Mt. Atago, took the Randen from Arashiyama to Saiin, and on the way to the public bath in Saiin, Asahi-yu, I stumbled upon a ramen shop. I was wondering until what time Kyoto City's shortened business hours for COVID-19 prevention measures are in effect. I decided to prioritize ramen over the bath. After moving around for about half a day, I was sweating a lot, but I was craving ramen. I ordered the standard Kyoto ramen with straight noodles in tonkotsu shoyu broth, with the noodles soft and extra green onions, and I think I added a flavored egg as well. It was delicious and the fact that they served tea instead of water was a nice touch. After that, I went to Asahi-yu, where I brought my own shampoo but found out they offer it for free as well. I had a refreshing bath and enjoyed the hot water. It was a great experience.

After getting drunk, the best way to finish off is with ramen! So I visited and ordered the special seared chashu ramen. It looks really delicious. I took a sip of the soup. It's tasty, but the artificial taste of the soup base is noticeable. It feels like they used a pre-made soup base, which kind of ruins the effort put into making the soup. The garlic flavor doesn't seem fresh, it feels like it's from a garlic oil made by a manufacturer. This is just my personal opinion. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived at "Jukuseimenya Shinrai Nishin Hon Ten" in Nishikyo-ku to have an early dinner. I entered the restaurant around 5:30 pm and found it quite busy. I ordered the "Chashu Ramen" with firm noodles, normal amount of lard, and extra green onions. After about a 5-minute wait, my bowl arrived! The bowl was filled with chashu slices, with green onions piled in the middle. The soup had a rich lard flavor but was not too heavy, with a nice sweetness from the chicken and pork bones. The noodles were straight and medium-thin, with a good texture and chewiness. The toppings included chashu, menma, and Kyoto leeks. The chashu and leeks went well together. I finished every last drop and bite. I look forward to trying the popular dishes like "fried chicken" and "fried rice" next time.

I came for lunch on Sunday, May 23, 2021. I ordered ramen, fried rice, and fried chicken. It was very delicious and made my mouth happy. I am extremely satisfied and feel very happy. It warmed my heart. The restaurant is clean and has a calming atmosphere. I am happy because they have a wide variety of menu options. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely go back. I appreciate all the ingredients in this world. Delicious food is calling me♪ The more I eat, the more power overflows♪

- Special seared chashu ramen (920 yen) with 3 pieces of fried chicken (300 yen) - Delicious! But I wish the chashu was served warmer. It's true that it's seared, but. - I also appreciate the dressing on the salad that comes with the fried chicken. The cheese aroma is nice.

Recently, there have been a lot of ramen options. Today, I had a work meeting in Nishioin and my companion A-san preferred ramen over curry, so we decided to go for ramen. We didn't have much time, so we stopped by this place after getting off at Hankyu station. A-san had the ramen set with a mini bowl, while I had the Chashu ramen for 950 yen. The soup was a bit thick and had thin straight noodles, it seemed to be a tonkotsu-based broth. Red pickled ginger was complimentary. I decided to skip the garlic since I have work afterwards. The Chashu slices were large and thin, placed around the edge of the bowl to avoid getting too hot. Overall, I enjoyed the meal, but I left half of the soup as finishing it all would get me scolded by my wife. Thank you for the meal!

On a regular Thursday at 13:50, the customer entered the store and it was not crowded. I ordered ramen for ¥700 including tax and fried rice for ¥510 including tax, totaling ¥1210 including tax. The food arrived within a few minutes after ordering! The staff's service was also good. Thank you for the meal.

I casually entered the "Jukusei Menya Shinrai Nishin Honoten" near Saiin Station. It's crowded at lunchtime. The location facing Shijo Street is good. The tonkotsu ramen has a nice aroma. I ordered it with pickled ginger. The soup has a good taste of soy sauce tonkotsu. It's a comforting flavor. Honestly, it's delicious. The noodles are thin and slightly firm, which goes well with the soup. The tender chashu also blends well with the soup. As I eat, my mouth is filled with the aroma of tonkotsu. Before I knew it, I finished the soup. It's a place where I once again feel the depth of Kyoto's ramen shops.
