On this day, I had breakfast at this place known for delicious bread in the neighborhood. It is said to be an offering to the imperial family. The breakfast set costs 750 yen. You can choose between scrambled eggs or sunny-side-up eggs. I chose sunny-side-up eggs that day. You can also choose just salad or just bread, and there are various types of bread and toppings to choose from, making the menu simple yet fulfilling. There are seats on the first and second floors, and it was quite crowded with many full tables, showing its popularity. The actual interior is similar to a clean Doutor or Ueshima Coffee, but the atmosphere feels different, perhaps due to the many female customers. While waiting on the second floor with an iced coffee, they brought my order in about 5-10 minutes. The Danish bread was thick and sweet with flavor, and it was indeed delicious on its own. I tried it with the sunny-side-up egg, but well, this bread is best enjoyed on its own. There is a corner in the back of the second floor designated for electronic cigarettes, where I took a break after the meal, ready to tackle the day ahead. Thank you for the meal!

The bakery opens early in the morning, allowing customers to choose their own bread and pay at the counter. However, there were also some items available for order. All the bread looked delicious, making it difficult to decide. The prices were a bit high, possibly due to recent inflation. The interior of the shop was clean and seemed to attract solo customers. The taste of the bread was very good, although some were a bit difficult to eat. Overall, the prices and taste of the bread seemed reasonable. The only downside was that the staff's attitude was a bit disappointing. It's a good place to visit when looking for a shop that opens early in the morning or when craving some luxurious bread.

I had a calzone and iced coffee! The place is usually quiet with mostly people in their 30s and 40s, creating a calm atmosphere where you can quietly read or take a break. They offer a variety of pastries and lunch options like curry and pasta. They also warm up the pastries for you!

Visited around 17:30 on Tuesday. It wasn't too crowded, mostly single or two customers. Went to the second floor and read a book. ☑️ Sweet Potato and Black Sesame Thick Toast - 350 yen. I had never seen sweet potato toast before, so I decided to try it. It had a subtle sweetness from the sweet potato and was quite delicious. I wonder if I would have been more impressed with regular thick toast. Also, I'm not sure about the price... Overall, it's a good place for doing some work with available power outlets.

It had been quite a while since I last visited this place, and when I went in, even though it was still early evening, the shelves were quite empty. I only remembered their popular Danish pastries, so I bought a few pastries along with the Danish pastry. However, all of them were just okay. The Danish pastry was surprisingly dry, and even though I bought the smallest size, I ended up throwing away more than half of it. It made me wonder how I used to enjoy eating them a few years ago when I saw them at the station. It wasn't as delicious as I remembered. Maybe my taste has changed.

Continental - I used it for some business around 750 yen, so I used it in the morning. The second floor in particular was clean and the light coming in from the window was relaxing. It was nice to have the coffee in a tumbler. Continental includes scrambled eggs, potato salad, sausage, salad, and the main Danish pastry. The bread was slightly sweet and when toasted, the oil made it crispy and delicious. The thickness was appealing. The scrambled eggs were fluffy in a way that I couldn't replicate at home. I like that the potato salad had cucumbers in it. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

Today I went to Morning's Gaya-san. Yesterday I had honey toast, and today I had matcha and black honey toast. Hmm, I think the honey toast was tastier in its simplicity. Perhaps honey or maple syrup goes better with bread than black honey. But both are delicious. In the morning, there are lots of Western tourists, I hear French (I don't understand). Maybe it's because they have a habit of eating bread in the morning? The second floor is empty, yet everyone is eating on the first floor. They probably don't know about the second floor.

This time, I bought Honey Toast, Cornet, Cheese and Condensed Milk Croissant, and Apple and Custard Cream Bread. The Honey Toast bread is delicious as expected since the bread itself is tasty. It is a luxurious Honey Toast bread topped with whipped cream, ice cream, and drizzled with honey. It was so filling that I couldn't finish it all. The bread on all sides and the bottom was delicious. The Cream Bread had delicious apples in it. I thought I was buying a cream bread, but it was more like an apple pie. I wish the Cornet had cream all the way to the end. Whenever I buy Cornet, I always wonder how far the cream goes inside. That's why I buy Cornet. The Croissant was a slightly different kind of Croissant. It would have been nice to have a Matcha and Black Honey Toast bread. There are two floors with different atmospheres. It's nice that you can drink delicious lemon water for free.

Today, I finished my morning work in Jinbocho and bought some bread at "CAFE & BAKERY MIYABI". I arrived at the shop a little after 10 o'clock, so it was very empty inside. In my mind, MIYABI's bread is like a precursor to luxury bread, but they don't have many stores. Also, their bread selection is very limited. I tried their sweet toast with sweet potato and black sesame, and their mentaiko cheese bread. First, I tried the sweet toast. It had a nice sesame flavor, with just the right balance of sweetness from the powdered sugar and sweet potato. It was delicious, but I wished I could have warmed it up and spread some butter on it. The mentaiko cheese bread had a creamy cheese filling with spicy mentaiko. The balance of spice and creaminess was just right, and the bread itself was soft. It was also tasty, but the flavors didn't leave a strong impression. In terms of price and taste, it felt like a cross between a bakery and a convenience store. If you can have it at a cafe for this price, it's actually quite cheap. Thank you for the meal.

Opened at 7:15. I arrived around 7:00 on a weekday and wandered around nearby until opening time. When I returned around 10 minutes later, there were already 2 customers ahead of me. At 7:15, the lights brightened and the automatic door opened. I ordered the Toast Set (450 yen), which includes your choice of toast and coffee or tea. I chose the Cinnamon Raisin Toast and coffee. I received my coffee and sat down, and about 5 minutes later, my toast was brought to me. The delightful scent of cinnamon and the Danish toast were irresistible. It was a blissful breakfast of crispy, fluffy, and moist toast.

Near the hotel where I was staying, there aren't many places that serve breakfast on a Saturday in a non-residential area, especially if they are not major chain stores. Fortunately, this particular restaurant was open. Although I would have been fine with just a continental breakfast, I couldn't resist trying the calzone. Despite being open early, they had a wide variety of bread options, which I enjoyed as a bread lover. The toast was made with Danish-style bread, which was quite sweet. It looked like it would be even more delicious with a bit of salty butter spread on top.

Located in Jinbocho, a cafe where you can enjoy high-quality bread from "MIYABI". Although the high-end bread trend seems to have passed, I think it's nice to enjoy it in a cafe like this. The eat-in area is at the back, but there also seems to be a second floor. You order first and then wait at your table. I was tempted by the "Tiramisu Honey Toast", but let's go with the top choice here. MIYABI's Honey Toast + Iced Coffee (1,000 yen). The Honey Toast alone is 800 yen. I imagine a high-quality bread Honey Toast must be delicious. Surprisingly, there are many foreigners in the back eat-in area. Was Jinbocho always like this? I had to wait about 7 minutes for the Honey Toast. Wow, it's huge! It's the expected size but still big. The bread is sweet, so the cream and ice cream complement it well. This must be the perfect combination. It's definitely tastier than regular bread. Plus, the crust around the edges, with its sweetness, is also excellent. If only it had red bean paste, it would be even better. The coffee was surprisingly ordinary, but the sweets, especially the Honey Toast, are worth trying at least once.

I arrived at the shop a little after 10:30 in the rain. Despite that, the shop was full of customers, showing how popular it is. The premium bread that caught my eye was fluffy and had a subtle, delicious flavor. There are several varieties to choose from. I also enjoyed their breakfast menu at different times, and was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size. I ended up buying some for breakfast as well, and enjoyed it for a few days!

This time, the hotel is room-only, so there is no breakfast included. Since I came to Jimbocho, I decided to have a morning meal, so I woke up at 6 am and got ready to go out. I visited this cafe nearby, "CAFE & BAKERY MIYABI Jimbocho store," which had high ratings for their morning menu. I left the hotel at 7:15 to arrive around the opening time, after a 10-minute walk. The place was not crowded yet, and it was still chilly in the morning. I ordered the Continental breakfast set this time, and waited at my seat with the number tag. The food arrived in about 10 minutes. The toast was what I was looking forward to the most. Let's try it. It has a rich and pleasant aroma. The toast was crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Delicious! The bread was plain, without any toppings, but it had a sweet taste. It turns out that this bakery originated in Kyoto, where a baker came up with the idea of creating delicious bread similar to croissants about 30 years ago. It all makes sense now why this place has such high ratings. Thank you for the delicious morning set.

A bakery chain that specializes in Danish-style bread with layers, different from regular bread. They offer takeout options at reasonable prices, like their chocolate coronet for around 180 yen. I purchased a cute mini bread to eat in the store. The Cube Chocolat (150 yen) is a popular choice from the MIYABI Cube series, made with high-quality French chocolate. The bread is not overly sweet, thanks to the layers of Danish-style dough. It's just the right amount of lightness even after finishing one. This bread could also double as a dessert option.

Visit date and time: Weekend 9:10-10:00
Weather: Sunny
I visited in the morning, thinking it would be empty, but it was actually 70-80% full. The customers were mostly adults. They serve breakfast until 10:30. You order and pay at the first-floor counter. I had the Continental breakfast for 750 yen and added thick-sliced toast with maple syrup for 350 yen. The plain thick-sliced toast was large and served on what looked like Arita ware. Since I wanted to eat until I was full, I added the maple syrup. The maple toast was smaller in size and served in a wooden dish. It had been a while since I had Danish bread, and I was very satisfied with it. There was also free Wi-Fi, and the atmosphere was very pleasant.

There is an eat-in space at the Shokupan MIYABI bakery. Today's photo is the "Japanese-style salad morning" with toast, where you can choose from various types (today's is "matcha noan"). It's a great place for a morning activity before work, starting at 7:00 am, to boost your motivation.

In the evening of December 30th, after helping out at a certain business hotel in Meguro, I will be heading to Kanda-Jinbocho for another job, but before that, let's have dinner together. However, it seems like most notable restaurants are closed around 7 pm. I saw a long line at Ebi-Maru along Hakusan Street, but I didn't have the courage to wait in line. Instead, I noticed a new Burger King and tried to order food inside, but was told that dine-in service is only available until 7 pm. Feeling a bit flustered by the system, I decided to try a high-end bakery café called "Kyoto Miyabi" which apparently originated from Kyoto. I ordered the "Soy Meat Carbonara" and a melon soda, as they had a discount on deli bread before closing at 8 pm. The carbonara was served with freshly ground black pepper on top, using spaghetti pasta with bacon and soy meat as the main ingredients. The dish had a light and creamy texture, with a strong pepper aroma. The melon soda was visually appealing, with green syrup at the bottom and plain soda on top. Overall, the meal was enjoyable, and I also appreciated the quality of the water served at the café. I considered buying some bread to take home, but the limited variety and quantity of options made me change my mind. I look forward to visiting a bakery with a wider selection of bread in the future.

Located along Hakusan Street in Jinbocho, "CAFE & BAKERY MIYABI Jinbocho Store" offers a special bread called "MIYABI," which is a dedication from the imperial family. This bread is meticulously baked by skilled bread artisans for about 10 to 11 hours, focusing on achieving deliciousness. With a crispy exterior and a moist and fluffy interior, this Danish bread is a must-try. The 1st floor sells this bread as well as assorted bread, while the cafe is located on the 1st and 2nd floors. The 2nd floor has a high ceiling and a spacious atmosphere, with smoking-permitted seats equipped with power outlets, making it a hidden gem of a cafe. Upon entering at 12:30 on a weekday, the 1st floor was fully occupied. I ordered a seasonal limited edition Strawberry Milk Honey Toast for 1,100 yen and an Iced Latte for 400 yen, taking advantage of the set discount of 100 yen, bringing the total to 1,400 yen. The Honey Toast arrived in less than 10 minutes, made with half a loaf of "MIYABI" Danish bread, topped with fresh strawberries, lightly sweetened whipped cream, and strawberry ice cream. Inside the Honey Toast, there is also strawberry jam, and it is generously drizzled with honey to finish. It's a delightful dessert where you can pour condensed milk on top before eating. In addition to the seasonal limited edition Honey Toast, you can also enjoy the classic Honey Toast or have MIYABI's Danish bread for breakfast. It was a delicious meal. CAFE & BAKERY MIYABI has other locations near Shimbashi Station and Oimachi, so be sure to visit a nearby store.

- Orange Thick Cut Toast ¥450 (Morning set with coffee or tea)
- Americano ¥350
- Strawberry Milk Honey Toast ¥1100
The orange Danish here is not greasy at all, despite the usual image of Danish pastries. It is crispy on the outside, fluffy and moist on the inside, with a strong orange flavor that gives it a rich taste.
The honey toast is paired with a limited-time strawberry milk. The bread is crispy, fluffy, and moist, topped with sweet cream, a mildly sweet strawberry sherbet, and a hint of sweet strawberry jam. Drizzle honey condensed milk on top as you like. The cream is slightly sweeter than Mister Donut's angel cream, with a strong milk flavor similar to Mister Donut's angel cream. Surprisingly, the atmosphere is very calm and not the typical flashy sweets shop vibe, more suitable for those in their 30s.
