I had some errands in Shinjuku on this day, and I felt a little hungry, so I came here. Personally, I am always curious about the cafes around Shinjuku Sanchome, but they are often full. It was around 4 pm on a Saturday, and when I went down to the entrance, there were about 5 groups waiting in line. I thought, "Oh, it's full here too..." However, the inside of the restaurant seemed quite spacious, and the line was moving steadily, so I decided to wait. After about 5 minutes, I was seated at the counter. There was a large space in the back, mainly with table seats. Near the entrance, there were several counter seats in addition to the bar counter. I ordered a hot cafe latte, peach and some kind of tea, and an orange and tea financier. The tea was served in a pot, enough for about 3 teacups, so I could enjoy it fully. The color of the tea was very beautiful, with a rich aroma, and it was very delicious. The orange financier was a bitter chocolate with a refreshing orange flavor, and I wanted another one. The financier had a lot of tea leaves in it, so it was a bit firmer than the texture of a typical financier, but it was fragrant and delicious. Most of all, the atmosphere here is very nice!! It's a place that can be used for dates, as a cafe or a bar at night, for drinks during the day, or for chatting with friends. It's a very versatile place. I used it as a cafe on this day, but looking at the photos, the hamburgers look delicious, so I look forward to trying the food next time.
