Saturday is solo parfait day! I heard that they are selling cherry parfait here, but it's not a big deal. I called the day before to confirm and found out that it depends on the day's stock. Limited quantity. So, the only way is to go early in the morning! I arrived around 11:01 am, just after the store opened. You go up the stairs to the second floor. Instead of writing your name on a board, you just line up. But at this time, there is no line. They ask for the number of people at the entrance. Here you can confirm the availability of the cherry parfait for the day. On this day, they only had 5 servings available for sale. And it's first come, first served. So, I placed my order at the entrance! Once seated, I looked at the menu. It turns out I was the fourth group to enter from the opening, and all four groups ordered one cherry parfait each, so they ran out after the group after me placed their order. The menu was also collected. The cherry parfait costs ¥3,080 (tax included) and includes cherries, vanilla ice cream, yogurt ice cream, whipped cream, elderflower jelly, and strawberry sauce. I was served at 11:09 am. The cherries on this day were my favorite, the Red Housui from Yamagata. The top cherry with the stem and pit intact is probably the best one. Below that, there was beautiful whipped cream, which was also delicious. Then, there were three cherries, followed by nine cherries around the rim of the glass, totaling 13 cherries so far. Then, my favorite combination of whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, and yogurt ice cream mixed together, along with the tasty strawberry sauce. The elderflower jelly at the bottom was unexpectedly delicious. The cherry at the very bottom was cut in half with the pit removed. The spoon didn't reach the bottom of the glass completely. The Red Housui at the top was incredibly delicious, but the cherries at the bottom had a lighter sweetness, making the flavor less distinct, so I took a sip of water before eating the cherries. This way, I could fully enjoy the taste of the cherries. The Red Housui cherries are large with a strong fleshiness, giving them a plum-like impression. You can also enjoy the lingering aftertaste. This was the best cherry parfait I've ever had. If I ever have the chance to try this parfait here again, I would request all 13 cherries with stems intact, just like the top one. So, if you want to try this cherry parfait here, I recommend visiting at the opening time. But keep in mind that the availability is subject to luck. Thank you!

I had the standard parfait. It was safely delicious. Luckily, I came in smoothly on a weekday afternoon. However, the fruit sandwich was sold out. (Only avocado was left) But when I left around 2:50 PM, there was a line on the stairs.

I visited around 1pm on Sunday and was able to enter without waiting. I wanted something refreshing after ramen and a dessert, so I ordered the peach parfait. The peaches were juicy and there were plenty of them, including blocks of peach inside which was satisfying! The peach sherbet, jelly, and ice cream were all delicious. Even though I had just finished ramen, I thoroughly enjoyed it and finished it all in no time!

At the end of August, around 3 p.m. on a weekday, I visited the restaurant alone. The peach season was coming to an end, and there were fewer shops offering peach sweets. Just the other day, I saw a sign at a certain fruit parlor saying, "Due to our procurement, our peaches are firm and not very sweet," so I had given up on getting delicious peaches. In such circumstances, this place was still offering peach parfait. As Chihana is a well-known long-established store, I couldn't believe they would offer almost overripe peaches at this price without any prior notice... so I entered the store. Peach Parfait and Darjeeling Tea (pot) - Total 3,520 yen (tax included) Once served, the visually stunning presentation was truly impressive, starting from the size and beauty of the peach slice, you could imagine how magnificent the whole peach was before being cut. Nervously taking a bite, the taste was sweet, juicy, and fresh as if it were the peak season for peaches. I could only admire the professional selection and procurement, the trust in the quality. This is the power of a brand... Although the 3,000 yen parfait made me hesitate as an ordinary person, I couldn't find any fault. Rather, it was too cost-effective to have such a high-quality peach parfait at the end of August. The peach sorbet was also delicious, with a rich intensity of peach juice, and the vanilla ice cream paired perfectly with the peach, providing a truly enjoyable experience. With this experience, the trust level in the world of fruit parlors has increased, and I would like to visit again when I crave fruit parfait.

I came here because the menu at Mitate no Wako was not great. I started with the usual fruit sandwich and a drink. Due to the intense heat, I chose iced tea. I was aiming for the peach parfait, but when I heard about the seasonal Ginza parfait, I went for it. In my hometown of Okayama, the peak season for peaches is until early August, so I knew there wouldn't be any good peaches in Tokyo at this time. Maybe I'll go for the melon parfait next time.

The 26th installment of Momodoki 2023, Ginza Senbikiya Momopafe 2,860 yen, Momo Short 1,100 yen. Yamanashi-grown Natsuko peaches are sweet and have a moderate softness. Senbikiya is truly reliable in terms of quality. Both the parfait and cake were delicious. With this, I have now conquered all of Senbikiya.

When I came to Ginza for shopping in the middle of summer, the challenge was finding a place to cool off. Cafes in the afternoon are always crowded, and it's hard to find a place to relax. If I'm going to a cafe, I also want a place where I can enjoy some sweets. So, I decided to go to Senbikiya, a classic choice. I arrived a little after 2 p.m. and there was a line, but it seemed shorter than usual. The line went from the 2nd floor down to near the entrance on the 1st floor, which is shorter than usual. I got in line and was grateful for the air conditioning provided on the stairs. I entered the shop after about 20 minutes. I already knew what I wanted to order: a peach parfait, anmitsu, and coffee. The seasonal peach parfait was excellent, with a hint of sweetness and a perfect texture of the peaches. The anmitsu was full of fruits and the agar was perfectly made. Normally, I leave some agar, but this time I finished it all. The average stay for one group is around 30 minutes to an hour. The shop is quite spacious, so the turnover rate is good.

Visited on August 8th and 9th, 2023, at 12:00 PM. Ginza Parfait for 1760 yen, Peach Parfait for 2860 yen, Chocolate Banana Parfait for 1980 yen. Had a parfait in Ginza. Surprisingly, there was no line, which was great. Ordered the Ginza Parfait, which had a variety of fresh fruits and was delicious. Just the right amount for lunch. The Peach Parfait was for kids and they seemed to enjoy it. The Chocolate Banana Parfait was more expensive than the Ginza Parfait, even though the ingredients seemed cheaper. I hope to have parfait or coffee in Ginza again someday.

I visited the restaurant after 3:30 pm on a weekday. There were four groups ahead of me, and I was told the wait would be about 20 minutes, but luckily I was seated in about 10 minutes. I was torn between the mango tart and the peach parfait, but was recommended the peach parfait as the domestic mango was sold out and the imported mango was less sweet. I ordered the peach parfait for 2,860 yen, which featured peaches from Yamanashi prefecture called "Natsukko" and seasonal fruits including Pione grapes. It took about 10 minutes from ordering to being served. The peaches were large, beautifully arranged, and very juicy and delicious. The cream, ice cream, and sorbet were simple but I enjoyed a parfait that was unique to a fruit parlor. Thank you for the meal.

Arrived around 3 pm. Hmm! There's a line all the way to the stairs. "What should we do? Wait?" We were discussing, but we were able to get a seat in about 15 minutes. I had the melon parfait and fruit sandwich. Both were incredibly delicious! It was my first time trying the fruit sandwich from Sembikiya, and the cream was so tasty! The melon parfait was also delicious, with the sweetness of the melon combined with the cream and ice cream making the melon even more delicious! I want to go back again, even if there's a line, because I want to eat their fruit.

I visited in the evening around 4 pm. There were about 3 people in line, but we were seated quickly and didn't have to wait long. I went because I wanted to eat a peach parfait, but I was surprised to find that the peach shortcake was sold out haha. The peaches were thick and had a nice texture, and the sweetness was just right, very delicious. The peach jelly was a bit bland haha, but since the peaches were delicious, it was okay. It was good that the parfait was not overly elaborate. Parfait and hot coffee came to a total of 3,520 yen including tax.

I arrived around 11:10 AM at the restaurant that opened at 11:00 AM. There were 2 groups of customers already there. I was seated at a spacious table. The recommended dish for this season was the mango parfait priced at 3,300 yen. I ordered it and it came quickly. The parfait was filled with mango, including mango slices, sorbet, and jelly. It was delicious and I felt happy enjoying all the mango flavors. I left around 11:35 AM and by then, more customers had arrived and the restaurant was getting busier. It's recommended to visit right after they open to avoid waiting. I had a great dining experience. Thank you.

I came here because Hikarimaru was crowded. It's been a while since I came here to eat strawberries in the spring. First, I tried the fruit sandwich from the lunch menu. It comes with a drink, which is a good deal for lunch. It's a common fruit sandwich, but it's not too creamy and has plenty of fruit in it, which is nice. After the meal, I had the Japanese mango parfait. It's made with mangoes from Miyazaki, and although it's a bit pricey, it was really delicious! I want to come here at least once a month.

I had mango shortcake and mango parfait. The mango flesh was not as sweet as I expected, and the cream on the shortcake was a bit heavy. The mango on the parfait was also not very sweet. The whipped cream in the parfait was refreshing and delicious. The sweetness of the mango was disappointing, but I would like to try it again if they have peach or other fruits.

Ginza Chihaya's main store fruit parlor offers a Okayama-grown Muscat of Alexandria parfait. Cherry Parfait for 3,080 yen. It is filled with plenty of Sato Nishiki cherries! The seeds have been carefully removed, and the vanilla ice cream and elderflower jelly are refreshing and delicious. It was a limited quantity, so I'm glad I was able to eat it.

I love Chifureya. I got hooked on melon after eating Chifureya's Melon Almond. The balance of cream and melon is wonderful. The melon juice tastes just like fresh melon. As a country person, coming to Chifureya in Ginza gets me excited. The service, taste, and atmosphere are all perfect. I can't go often, but I look forward to going again.

Fruit specialty store Ginza Sembikiya's fruit parlor is well known. I have received fruits, jellies, and baked goods as gifts or souvenirs before, but this was my first time dining in at the fruit parlor. Located in the heart of Ginza, between Matsumoto Kiyoshi and Armani on the 5th street, the fruit shop is on the 1st floor and the fruit parlor is on the 2nd floor. On a rainy Sunday around 2:30 pm, it was a slightly early cafe time, and as rumored, there was already a line on the stairs. I was prepared to wait for about an hour, but the turnover was fast and I was able to enter in about 15 minutes. The limited-time fruits on this day were Shine Muscat and mango. Although I thought my favorite strawberries were already gone by the end of May, they were still on the menu. I asked the staff just to be sure, and they commented that they could still provide them but personally didn't recommend them as they were not in season. Such honest comments from a professional like this are very helpful for amateurs like me. What I ordered: - Seasonal Fruit Punch (1,320 yen) - Seasonal Fruit Assortment for 1 person (1,540 yen) - Friend's order: Muscat of Alexandria parfait (2,970 yen) The fruit punch, now a classic, was actually invented by Sembikiya. It was inspired by a cocktail called "Fruit Punch" with finely chopped fruits and liquor. The beautifully cut seasonal fruits were served with edible flowers on top. The syrup at the bottom was white wine-infused and although the staff emphasized that it contained strong alcohol, I didn't feel much alcohol in it. The syrup was too sweet for me, and I ended up leaving some behind, so I thought it could have been a bit less sweet. However, as expected from a long-established fruit specialty store, the fruits were first-class. I was able to enjoy the individual characteristics and sweetness of each fruit. Even though assortments can be hit or miss, all the fruits were delicious. Despite the 90-minute time limit and the line forming, I didn't have to wait too long, so it might be a hidden gem. The operation is amazing, so even though the line looks long, you get served quickly. So when you're feeling a bit tired in Ginza or craving something sweet, the wait is minimal here and most importantly, the desserts are delicious. The banana parfait costs almost 2000 yen including tax, but it's worth it with its elegant sweetness.

I visited the famous "Ginza Chikuya" in Tokyo, which everyone has heard of at least once. Located in a prime location in Ginza, I had to take a detour to reach it due to construction near the closest subway exit, Exit 5. The Chikuya Building houses a high-end fruit store on the first floor. The prices of fruits are in a completely different league for us common folk. The café is located on the second floor, where you have to climb the stairs with your luggage as the elevator does not stop on the second floor. Luckily, it was a weekday and rainy, so it was not crowded. I heard that the fruit sandwich is delicious, so I tried that along with the "Ginza Parfait." Both were delicious. The service was polite and good. However, I had a shocking experience at Goto-san in Asakusa two days ago, so I couldn't help but compare the two, and I felt that Chikuya was more about the name value. It's all about the experience, and I learned something from this. Thank you for the meal.

After a long time, I was enraptured by the fragrance, the richness of the fruit flesh, the juiciness of the seasonal mango parfait, but it disappeared in no time. The toppings of sorbet, ice cream, and whipped cream did not overshadow the mango, they played supporting roles perfectly, and the harmony of everything was flawless. I was able to enter without waiting in line when I went during lunchtime, but there was a huge queue when I left after paying. If you have lunch early and go around lunchtime, you can surprisingly get in without much wait. Mango is truly the king of fruits. Thank you for the meal.
