Maduro, who wanted to stay at the same hotel where his friend recommended and felt safe even when drunk, ended up going to a different restaurant and getting full and drunk. When he checked the hotel's website to buy Grand Hyatt's cake, he found a great deal on a course. He had missed a similar deal before, so he made a reservation right away. The deal was prominently featured on CREA online, while it was only briefly mentioned in the CREA magazine. The deal was for a Cielo Night at the hotel for 5,060 yen (including tax), which included a 90-minute free-flow of 36 types of drinks such as tapas, beer, wine, whiskey, soft drinks, cocktails, and non-alcoholic cocktails, and a 120-minute stay from Sunday to Thursday at 7:00 pm or 7:30 pm. The deal also included a 2,000 yen music charge. It was too good of a deal to pass up. The entrance from the Hills side was elegant and had a Balinese resort vibe. The interior of the restaurant was even cooler, making Maduro feel like he wanted to go to Bali. When he sat down, the staff who took his reservation greeted him politely, and the rest of the staff were friendly and attentive. They confirmed his drink order promptly without him having to ask. The tapas set for the day included salmon, caprese, wiener, and shrimp with sweet chili sauce. He enjoyed a welcome sparkling wine, a minty mojito, a gin and tonic, white wine, and a Moscow mule. The cocktails were a bit weak in flavor, but considering the price, it was not a problem at all. The Moscow mule had a strong ginger flavor. Despite not understanding much about jazz, Maduro was able to enjoy the atmosphere and the great music. Surprisingly, there were many young couples in their 20s, as well as groups of women having a girls' night out. Some tables were close together, while others were more spaced out, depending on the purpose. Maduro wondered who would be seated at the large tables that seemed more isolated. It was a fun night, although he witnessed some incidents that made him think about proper etiquette in different situations. The restroom was inside the restaurant, with separate facilities for men and women. The women's restroom even had two private rooms, and the atmosphere was nice with hand towels provided. However, it seemed like the cleaning check was not thorough.
