Although the whipped cream was a bit sweet, I got so absorbed in eating that I forgot to add syrup. The recommended thick-cut toast for breakfast was indeed thick. It may not have been two slices, but it was thicker than three slices. The toast was generously spread with butter, soaking in about one-third of its thickness. The uneven toasting added to the enjoyment of the changing aroma. The toast was fluffy inside with a nice wheat scent. The boiled egg was also delicious. Despite being slightly hesitant about the appearance of the toast, both dishes were surprisingly easy to finish. Perhaps because they were so delicious. It was a great start to a relaxing holiday. The toast came in two thickness options, normal and thick, but I chose the normal one to start with. While waiting, more and more customers arrived, showing how popular the place was. Soon, the toast arrived. It was quite thick, about 3-4 cm, almost making me think I had ordered the thick one. The toast was crispy and juicy, with sugar and butter soaked halfway through, a true taste of traditional coffee shop toast. It also came with a boiled egg, so I peeled it, sprinkled some salt, and took a bite. Eating a boiled egg at a coffee shop always brings a nostalgic feeling. I enjoyed the rich iced coffee while reading a novel I had brought, and had a lovely morning time. The staff were also polite and pleasant. I would definitely like to visit again. I ordered an iced coffee for 650 yen, which was strong and acidic, and a King's Castle Soda for 700 yen, which had a unique cassis-like flavor and was made with homemade syrup mixed with soda water. The lemon and cherry garnish added a nice touch. If there is no or a short line, I highly recommend visiting this cozy and retro café!

It was easy to get to, just 2-3 minutes from Ueno station. Unfortunately, the weather was not great, but the restaurant was full and there was one group ahead of us waiting. There were a lot of women in the restaurant, and the staff were easy to call over, so the atmosphere was very pleasant. I want to come back again to try the toast next time!

The retro coffee shop's Napolitan looked very delicious. So, I ordered Napolitan and iced coffee (1650 yen). The Napolitan had just the right amount of ketchup flavor, which I liked. It was really delicious. I finished it in no time.

In Ueno, there is a cool retro cafe. The interior is from the Showa era. Many young people were there taking photos of the colorful cream soda and the interior. I couldn't help but take out my phone and snap a picture too. I might come back here after visiting the art museum.

The Napolitan looked like it was full of ketchup, but it was actually quite light and easy to eat. The atmosphere of the cafe is retro and the service is very good and comfortable.
