The Kyoto vegetable plate was served with crispy outer bread and soft homemade bread on the inside. The main dish was lasagna, served piping hot with a refined Kyoto-style seasoning. It was a satisfying and delicious meal. I enjoyed a coffee drink after the meal. It was really delicious!

There are few seats in the shop, so we recommend making a reservation. I used it for lunch. The cost performance is great, and the terrace seats are recommended. You can choose your main dish, and I thought it was appealing that they have lasagna. The appetizers were also plentiful, and it was a very satisfying lunch. ♡

The liver pate for the appetizer was delicious. However, I found the salad dressing to be too heavy and the pasta had too much oil. It would have been even tastier if they reduced the dressing and oil. The dessert, crepe, and iced coffee were delicious.

I happened to stop by this restaurant and unexpectedly enjoyed a delicious lunch. The chicken liver pate served as an appetizer was amazing! I could have been satisfied with just that. I heard that the pate is made from fresh livers obtained directly from a chicken farmer that day. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the coffee served generously was also delicious. It's no wonder that the place is often full during lunchtime. At a price of 1200 yen, I would be even happier if the portion of the appetizer marinated dish was increased a bit, or if something like a pumpkin salad was added for more volume.

Located just north of the new Kumano Shrine, on the south side where Higashioji Street and the JR Tokaido Main Line intersect, there is a café with a brown wood-like facade and terrace seating. Inside, the main colors are white and brown wood, creating a natural and handmade feel. I ordered a Catalana and Shinshu white peach juice, and the wait time was short. The Catalana, garnished with blueberries, had a slightly sweet taste that melted in the mouth, revealing a deep and rounded flavor with a hint of milk. The caramelized surface added a crispy texture and extra sweetness. The Shinshu white peach juice had a rich peach flavor and sweetness that left a strong impression.

A hidden gem Italian restaurant near the train tracks extending east from Kyoto Station. The nearest station is Higashihonganji. I've been here a few times before. This time, I had a café latte for 500 yen. However, I wish there was just one more thing. If there was one more thing that would make me want to come here more often... Maybe it's the taste of the food, the portion size, or the value for money. It's just one step away. If one of these aspects improved, it would become a very user-friendly restaurant. Personally, I would like the portion size to be slightly increased. This would likely improve the value for money as well. I think the pricing is already good. Since this is a unique restaurant not commonly found around here, I hope it transforms into a place where I can visit regularly. I look forward to it.

Cafe Dodan near Ohtani High School is a cute little shop. For lunch, you can choose between lasagna and two types of pasta. In the summer, they offer both hot and cold pasta options that change weekly. I tried the octopus ragu pasta a couple of weeks ago and it was delicious. I look forward to trying more of their menu items. The homemade desserts by the owner's wife are really good. The caramel custard dessert was surprisingly tasty, even though I usually don't like custard. It's cold and delicious! The cherry tart is also really tasty. Although I keep talking about desserts, the lunch set doesn't always come with dessert, but the other options like the cherry tart are great too. It seems you can order desserts at night as well. The bread that comes with the lunch set is crusty on the outside and fluffy on the inside - really delicious. I feel like going back for more!
