I visited the restaurant around 7 o'clock on a weekday. It wasn't too crowded, with only about 3-4 groups including us. The atmosphere felt more like a casual dining place rather than an izakaya, with lots of Kyoto vegetables displayed at the counter. Based on recommendations, we first ordered the skewers, which were really delicious! The skewers were large and shaped like American hot dogs. We chose the salt-grilled flavor, which was quite rich. We also ordered 5 different types of skewers, and the tomato and cheese wrapped in meat felt like a dish that would appeal to women! The skewers could be ordered with salt, cheese, or sauce. I love avocados, so I ordered the avocado with homemade chili oil, which was slightly sweet and very tasty. We also ordered charcoal-grilled chicken thighs, mushrooms with tartar sauce, lard rice, and pork bone white miso meat and vegetable hot pot. The white miso hot pot was quite rich and delicious, but a bit heavy. The lard rice was a specialty here and served as a satisfying end to the meal. It was sweeter and richer than I expected, which I enjoyed. However, if you're not a fan of heavy or rich dishes, it might be a bit much for you. I would like to try both the spicy and soy sauce versions of the meat and vegetable hot pot next time I visit.

I entered the restaurant alone. I wanted to eat skewers, but I could only order two pieces of each type at a time. I had tsukune and a side menu of cartilage fried chicken. The rice was delicious, but the atmosphere was a bit noisy and not very calming. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either.

The lard rice is guilty. It's definitely too much for one person to finish.

The grilled dishes were cooked perfectly and incredibly delicious! The lard rice was surprisingly rich and smooth! It was a wonderful and not overpowering way to end the meal!

The food was really delicious but the price was higher than expected - 6000 yen per person. The menma was especially tasty.

Today's pushuuu is here~(⌒▽⌒) I wandered around Kiyamachi and Pontocho looking for a casual and delicious-looking restaurant. I found one with a stylish blackboard menu with illustrations of yakitori, which looked really appetizing. The dim lighting created a great atmosphere, and it seemed popular among couples and groups of women. The appetizer was a refreshing assortment of vegetables, perfect for this season. You can order yakitori by the skewer, with prices around 200 yen per skewer. The chicken was juicy and delicious, perfect with beer. The restaurant was almost full, but the service was efficient and the food came out quickly. They also had a specialty lard rice, which was tasty but a bit heavy for my taste. Overall, it's a great place for a date or a relaxed meal. I might visit again in the future. Thank you for the meal~(⌒▽⌒)

A yakitori restaurant located between Kiyamachi and Pontocho in Kyoto. I visited late at night because I was craving yakitori. They had a last order at 11:30, so I stayed for about an hour. I ordered two skewers each of tsukune with sauce, salted chicken tail, and salted chicken wing. I also had a kabosu chu-hi drink, which was refreshing. The skewers were cooked perfectly, and I enjoyed them with a shochu highball. The staff were cute and efficient. I will definitely come back again. ✋
