Freedom is good. Let's take it easy. I think the most important thing in life is this "it'll work out somehow" spirit. People who are too focused on details, worry too much, and have too much stress seem to lack this. It's okay to be vague, not be too attached, and live positively. But, how do you do that when it's related to your personality? I think it's about "learning to like yourself as you are." Well, balance is also important. Hello! I'm selling positivity, Takumon ☻ Today, let's talk about "Nantoka Presso" located in Jiyugaoka. It's about a 2-minute skip from Jiyugaoka Station. It's on the 1st floor of Luz Jiyugaoka. Opened in November 2017, it's like a family member of the popular shop "Pan to Espresso to" in Omotesando. The company was founded by a copywriter who helped with the branding of "Pan to Espresso to" and his accountant friend. They believe in moving forward one hour at a time. It may sound simple, but it's quite difficult. Not rushing, not being lazy. Providing a moment of relief for those living at an incredible speed. Making those who always want to be excited feel the "now." It's nice, isn't it? I like it. Probably my kind of favorite shop. Here is the game and entertainment and it makes me feel excited. Nantoka Presso is an espresso, right!? Yes. It seems like it could be a great place for a big laugh. I visited on a snack day off. Still hungover. Before I knew it, I was back at Free Hill Jiyugaoka. I was taking a friend who was leaving for overseas to Haneda Airport. The driver asked me to "buy some coffee," so I visited here. It's located on the 1st floor of a slightly larger complex called Luz. There's also a sister store called "Pan to Espresso to Jiyu-gata" on the 3rd floor. Jiyu-gata? (laughs) There's an eat-in option on the upper floor. And crawl. There are many related stores, aren't there? I quickly entered the store, feeling the Nantoka vibe from the outside. Lightly skipping the steps of Free Hill. Gently holding my husband's hand. You can enter the store right away. It's a small square-shaped store. The theme seems to be "floating feeling." I'm always floating lightly, so I don't feel any discomfort. Synchronized Attack! My friends are about to arrive, so I quickly bought a Cinnamon Roll (270 yen) and a Brioche Anpan (300 yen). - Cinnamon Roll: Crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. With an accent of orange peel. It has a deep croissant-like flavor. It's slightly sweet and salty. - Anpan: Delicious anpan. I like the dough. It's filled with plenty of red bean paste. The shop's main item seems to be the "Sandwich Sandwich," but I had a sandwich for breakfast... The taste of the top and bottom of the bread is different. I also bought the promised coffee. There are cups, but the "Bottled Drink (600 yen)" is also a signature item here. So, I got one with milk (Muto) and one black with a timed extraction. They seem to extract it properly after ordering. The size is just right. Pocket whiskey size. It's cute and good. They can even put your name on it with a prior reservation. The taste was, of course, delicious. And they use espresso beans. Easy to drink. I gave one to my friend and headed to the airport. Oh, I should have bought another one... But my friend said, "You always come up with weird jokes, don't you? That's cool." But he also mentioned that it's a bit expensive. It's not a convenience store! Nantoka Presso! Oh, but wouldn't it be even more popular if they sold it at convenience stores? The bottle shape is nice. It's easy to put in a clutch bag. Thank you for the meal. Takumon passing through. Chasuchasu♪

This bread is only about the size of a Rubik's Cube, but it is so fluffy and incredibly delicious! I have also bought bread and espresso here before, and being related, they are almost the same! This bread is definitely the best here! Awesome, awesome!

I purchased Muu Freeform, raw chocolate coronet, and Schneur. They were all very delicious! Schneur was my first time trying it! It had a new sweet taste, perfect for eating cold in the summer. Especially the Muu Freeform was a soft and fluffy bread that I would like to buy again.

Takeout Sandwich (Camembert and Prosciutto) @370 and Chestnut Amande (Pecan nuts bread dough with candied chestnuts and cream cheese + cookie dough covering on top like melon bread) @310. The sandwich has Camembert cheese and prosciutto on top of a pie crust, with a unique raisin bread on the bottom. The combination of salty Camembert and prosciutto with the sweetness of the raisin bread creates an interesting taste sensation. As for the Chestnut Amande, it was delightful with a whole candied chestnut inside and cream cheese. I realized that I prefer bread with a firm texture and nuts for added crunch. I would like to know the best way to enjoy the sandwich, whether it is better warmed or reheated. Overall, I look forward to visiting more new and interesting shops in Jiyugaoka when I have the time.

I visited "Nantoka Presso" that I was curious about because of its casual name. They don't have a wide variety, but they offer delicious bread such as toast, croissants, and brioche. The most popular toast, chocolate croissant, and cream bread were purchased. The toast was chewy and slightly sweet, absolutely delicious. You could eat as many slices as you want, it's dangerously good. The croissant and cream bread also had a unique chewy texture and were all delicious. It's a great way to start your morning with these tasty breads.

I went for lunch. It was a bit late, but there were many solo diners and almost all seats were taken. I ordered the lunch set with campanile with basil, cheese, prosciutto, and Genovese. It was more filling than I expected, and the taste was very delicious, but it was a bit expensive for a casual lunch.

A bakery located a 5-minute walk from Jiyugaoka Station. There is also a cafe on the 3rd floor of the same building, both of which are popular. They offer a variety of stylish bread, with the cube-shaped Danish called "Muu" being a particularly popular choice. The French toast at the cafe is also recommended. Priced at 1400 yen including a drink, the hot and melty French toast with the sweet taste of bread and butter was very satisfying! Both the bakery and the cafe are recommended, so be sure to stop by.

The cute-sized Coronet comes in two flavors: sweet white cream cheese with red bean paste and sakura (cherry blossom) cream cheese with red bean paste. The sakura flavor may be seasonal. The bread dough has a fine texture and a good crunchy bite. The filling is not too sweet, and it pairs well with the cream cheese's tanginess. The Fondant Chocolat bread, when warmed in the microwave, has a deliciously gooey chocolate center.

The person in charge of designing the bread and espresso at this shop is also running the operation, so they do not compromise on the quality of the bread. I was relieved that I wasn't denied entry when I was drunk and stumbling. I'm often called a suspicious old man, so it's good that I wasn't rejected. The items I purchased in my drunken state were a crunchy cinnamon roll for 270 yen and a fondant chocolate for 360 yen. The cinnamon roll was sweet and the bread was firm. It was good. As for the fondant chocolate, I accidentally took a picture of the back (actually the front) and then realized my mistake. It was delicious, with a sophisticated sweetness. Thank you, it was a great meal. Silly review, haha.

I'm not very familiar with bread, but there are many famous bread shops in Jiyugaoka. I bought two pieces from one of them, although I don't remember where the shop was located. The bread tasted great after reheating, especially the bacon one with a nice salty flavor. The curry epi had a unique curry-flavored bread. The shop had an unusual display with individually wrapped bread. I prefer when bread is displayed in a showcase rather than being individually wrapped. After the visit, I somehow ended up in Wakoshi City, but eventually made it back home safely.

I had seen this shop in magazines and on social media, so I was curious to try it out. I bought the Matcha-flavored Pan with Fresh Chocolate Cream, which was slightly sweet and paired well with the cream, but I personally found the bread a bit dry. The cream had a rich matcha flavor and was delicious. I also tried the popular Chocolate Mucho Muu bread, which had chocolate inside. While the bread was good and the chocolate was tasty, I didn't feel it was anything particularly special. Maybe I had set my expectations too high? Overall, it was just an average bread for me.

On this day, I wandered around Jiyugaoka. There were many shops I wanted to visit for years, and "Nantoka Presso" was one of them. I wonder who came up with such a stylish name for the place. Date: 11/6, Sunday, around 12:20 There were 2 groups of customers before us and 1 group after us. It's a small but incredibly cute and stylish shop. It has a confident vibe. This place feels like the bread capital of Jiyugaoka. The tongs and trays are also lovely. The tongs serve as both a display and a tool. Order: - "Sandwich Inconsistency: Prosciutto Camembert" for 350 yen - "Sandwich Inconsistency: Chestnut and Roasted Tea" for 480 yen - "Muu Jiyugatake" for 420 yen - "Pave Sour Cherry Black Pepper" for 320 yen - "Sandwich Inconsistency" and "Muu Jiyugatake" were what we were after. My husband added "Pave Sour Cherry Black Pepper" because he was intrigued by the cherry and black pepper combination. Tasting: - "Sandwich Inconsistency: Prosciutto Camembert" and "Sandwich Inconsistency: Chestnut and Roasted Tea" are the representative sandwiches of "Nantoka Presso". The top and bottom bread are different, hence the name "Sandwich Inconsistency". The baguette sandwich with prosciutto and camembert is the best in my opinion. As for the chestnut and roasted tea, I personally didn't enjoy it as I don't like tea flavors or cream. - "Muu Jiyugatake" is the signature bread of the bread capital, a square-shaped bread. It's also used for the popular French toast. It was fluffy and delicious. - "Pave Sour Cherry Black Pepper" wasn't very memorable. It could have used more black pepper. I had high expectations for it after waiting for years. Oh well, it happens. Overall, the experience was enjoyable and it's worth a visit at least once to feel the vibe. Thank you for the meal.

While taking a walk near Jiyugaoka Station, I discovered a takeout specialty store that is a sister shop of Pan to Espresso. There was only one group waiting, but the sister shop on the third floor had a long line. The "Moo" bread for 420 yen was rich and chewy with plenty of butter. It was my favorite type of bread. I will definitely visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal!

Introducing a coffee shop in Jiyugaoka, Nantoka Presso ☕️ They sell coffee and bread, and on this day, I tried their stylishly labeled pour-over coffee and espresso bread! The coffee here has a strong bitterness, low acidity, and a light taste. It goes well with the bread, and I would like to try their espresso next time, which is also their shop name! If you want to try bottled bitter coffee in Jiyugaoka, be sure to visit! #Tokyo #Jiyugaoka #TokyoGourmet #JiyugaokaGourmet #JiyugaokaEatingPlace #NantokaPresso #Coffee #Bread #CoffeeEatingPlace #DiningForTwo #157EatingPlace #August27th

The first floor has a bakery and a coffee shop called "Nantoka Presso" which is a popular bakery with a unique name and stylish design. It is affiliated with a bread and espresso shop on the third floor, where a cafe space is also available. The company behind these establishments is called Jisoku Ichi Jikan Co., Ltd., founded by copywriter Sato Ishii and his accountant friend, who handle the branding of the shop. The address is 2-9-6 Jiyugaoka, Meguro-ku, Tokyo, Luz Jiyugaoka 1F. I visited on a sunny day with no wait time and ordered the following items: - Canon (240 yen tax included) - Limited edition fresh chocolate coronet white chocolate mint (350 yen tax included)

This was my first visit to the restaurant. I stopped by around 11 am on a weekday and decided to go in. They sell bread for takeout on the first floor, and you can enjoy it in the cafe space on the third floor. It's a one drink order system. I bought a sausage bread and an espresso melon bread for takeout, then headed back to the third floor. I had them with a cafe latte. The cafe latte here has a perfect balance of espresso and milk, which I really like. The sausage bread has a slight spiciness that goes well with the Danish pastry. It was my first time trying the combination of espresso and melon bread, and the bread had a slightly sweet, nutty flavor. There was a unique espresso filling inside, giving it a mysterious taste. The only downside was that the service felt a bit impersonal.

I had some business in Jiyugaoka, so I went there by bicycle. I found this restaurant because it was right in front of the bicycle parking lot. The exterior was beautiful and the bread was cute and easy to eat. Of course, it was delicious too! Personally, I really enjoyed the small melon pan!

It seems like this bakery has been running for a hundred years until 2022, with a focus on bread and espresso. I tried to visit this cafe on the 3rd floor before, but it was closed, so I came back for revenge today. It's located about 3 minutes north of Jiyugaoka Station in a commercial facility called Luz Jiyugaoka. There is a cafe on the 3rd floor that is affiliated with this bakery. You can buy bread here and enjoy it at the cafe with a drink. The bakery is small with a selection of bread displayed in bags, which I think is appropriate for the current situation. The bread has a French bread feel, but they also offer more common types of bread. There was nothing noteworthy about the customer service or bagging process. The Canon (240 yen tax included) is a small croissant. I ate it later, so the crumb was a bit soggy from the oil, but the dough has a strong pull strength and doesn't easily tear. The flavor is a combination of butter, light baking, and wheat flour, which is quite nice. When you bite into it, the butter oozes out, making it quite oily. Only a small part of the corner is crispy. The strong pull strength and good aroma are the main features. It's not my preferred structure, but the taste is good, so I think many people would like it. The Croque Monsieur (390 yen tax included) is made with mou, mortadella ham, shredded mozzarella cheese, white sauce, and red pepper. The mou is dense and moist, with a rich texture and minimal roughness. The ham, cheese, and bechamel are abundant and have strong flavors, but the mou balances them well. It's small but very satisfying to eat. Personally, I think a stronger baking flavor would be even better. Nevertheless, it's delicious. Although it's not extremely distinctive, being part of a well-known bakery chain, they definitely know how to make tasty bread. I visited about 5 bakeries that day, and while most were similar, this one stood out a bit.

I had the sandwich from the menu board. It was smaller than I expected, so one was not quite enough. The different ingredients on the top and bottom made it a bit inconsistent. It lived up to its name, though, and was a tasty sandwich. The bread had a familiar taste, so it wasn't particularly innovative.

The An Butter Sandwich is cute with a long and flat shape. It has a low-sugar chunky red bean paste and butter filling. The bread is slightly firm with a nice texture. It is delicious with plenty of red bean paste and butter. The red bean paste is not too sweet and tasty, and the salty butter complements it well. Overall, it has a good balance of flavors and is delicious!

Pan & Espresso Jiyugaoka store. The store is small, and there is also a cafe on the upper floor of the same building. The cafe seems to be quite crowded most of the time. ⭐️ Visit I always visited but never found something I really wanted to buy, so I ended up not buying anything. However, this time I finally found the popular sweet butter bread. I also bought a small cream cheese bread. Sweet butter bread 260 yen Bread with miso Shinshu cream cheese 280 yen ⭐️ Impression The sweet butter bread looks crispy and firm on the outside, but it is actually soft inside, and there is a lot of butter (laughs). The sweet bean paste is not too sweet, but combined with the butter, it brings out a strong sweetness. The cream cheese bread has a delicious taste with miso as an accent. Miso and cheese, both fermented foods, go really well together. Maybe because it contains pumpkin, the bitterness and spiciness of miso are minimal, and the saltiness is well balanced. I only selected the cheaper options this time, but overall, even though they are small, they are quite expensive. Also, during the card payment, the staff stared at me while I was entering my PIN, which was a bit awkward. It would be better if they looked away as a matter of courtesy.
